Lin Yuan put away the Time Manipulator and looked at the corpses of spirit beasts scattered across the ground, a slight smile playing at the corners of his mouth. Although the battle had been perilous, it had also given him a clearer understanding of his own strength.
"You're truly impressive for someone who managed to escape from the Qi Gong Association," Li Honghe said as he stepped forward, a complex glint in his eyes. "Your ability... is quite unique."
Lin Yuan shrugged, feigning nonchalance. "Just a little trick. It works better in places rich in Lingqi like this."
Su Jiu'er stood alertly beside Lin Yuan, her compass still vibrating slightly in her hand, as if reminding her that there were still potential dangers nearby. Zhou Haoran was busy collecting samples from the spirit beasts, muttering terms like "genetic mutation" and "Lingqi adaptability."
"We should keep moving; we need to reach the camp before dark," Li Honghe said, glancing at the sky. "The spirit beasts in this forest become more ferocious at night, and even we wouldn't want to be out here then."
The group continued onward, and within an hour, they finally arrived at a temporary camp hidden in a valley. Several high-tech tents were scattered about, surrounded by some kind of Energy Barrier that isolated them from external Spiritual Energy Fluctuations.
"This is our temporary base," Li Honghe pointed to the largest tent. "We can discuss matters in there."
The interior of the tent was much more spacious than it appeared from the outside, with a holographic projection table set up in the center and various advanced equipment surrounding it. A few cultivators from Tianhua Kingdom were busy working, and upon seeing Li Honghe enter, they all paused their tasks.
"Please take a seat," Li Honghe gestured for Lin Yuan and his group to sit around the conference table. "I’m sure you have many questions."
Lin Yuan got straight to the point. "First of all, what exactly is this parallel world? Why is the Spiritual Energy Concentration so high?"
Li Honghe nodded and operated a few controls on the holographic projection table, causing a three-dimensional map to materialize in mid-air. "This parallel world has a geographical structure similar to ours but with one key difference." He pointed to a winding line on the map. "This is a massive Lingqi Mine Vein that runs through the entire continent, much like Earth's dragon vein."
"Lingqi Mine Vein?" Zhou Haoran adjusted his glasses and leaned closer with curiosity. "What does that mean?"
"In simple terms, it's an underground deposit rich in spirit stones," Li Honghe explained. "These spirit stones continuously release Lingqi, and after hundreds of years of accumulation, the Spiritual Energy Concentration in this world far exceeds that of ours."
Su Jiu'er pondered for a moment. "So you came here to mine spirit stones?"
Li Honghe smiled. "Smart. Spirit stones are extremely rare in our world, but here they are everywhere. The Tianhua National Qi Gong Association has already established multiple mining bases in this parallel world."
"Wait," Lin Yuan narrowed his eyes. "How did you discover this parallel world? And how do you travel back and forth?"
Li Honghe's expression turned serious. "That's precisely the problem we are facing now. We arrived here through a Transmission Array located in an ancient ruin, but recently the Transmission Array malfunctioned, leaving us trapped in this world."
"So you're also looking for a way out?" Lin Yuan raised an eyebrow. "What a coincidence; so are we."
"Not only that," Li Honghe fixed his gaze on Lin Yuan, "we suspect that your arrival is related to the malfunction of the Transmission Array."
The atmosphere suddenly grew tense. Su Jiu'er subtly moved her hand toward the weapon at her waist, and Zhou Haoran also paused his note-taking.
Lin Yuan burst into laughter, "Don't be so nervous. We're victims caught in this too. If we really had the ability to sabotage your Transmission Array, we would have returned on our own long ago. Why would we be fighting spirit beasts in this godforsaken place?"
His words eased the tension slightly. Li Honghe pondered for a moment and nodded, "That makes sense. Then I have a proposal—let's cooperate to find a way out."
"Cooperate?" Lin Yuan raised an eyebrow, "What are your terms?"
"We have maps and resources, while you possess... special abilities." Li Honghe cast a meaningful glance at Lin Yuan, "Especially you, Lin Yuan; your abilities will be very useful in exploring unknown areas."
Lin Yuan pretended to think it over but had already decided to accept. Being trapped in an unfamiliar world, it was better to leverage the strength of others than to go it alone. Moreover, this was a good opportunity to get closer to the Tianhua National Qi Gong Association and learn more information.

"Be careful of that woman," Li Honghe lowered his voice, "she holds an unusual position within the association, and the forces behind her are quite complex. It's said she is involved in a secret project codenamed 'Lingqi Guiyuan,' but even we don't know the specifics."
Lin Yuan's heart stirred; this information was valuable. He nodded casually, "Thanks for the warning. So where do we start looking for an exit?"
Li Honghe pointed to a location on the Holographic Map: "According to our investigation, there are ancient Dragon Vein Ruins nearby that may be related to the Transmission Array. We’ll set off there first thing tomorrow morning."
Su Jiu'er suddenly spoke up, "I can feel it." She closed her eyes, and the compass in her hand pointed toward a certain direction on the map. "There is indeed a powerful energy fluctuation there, similar to what we felt when we arrived."
Li Honghe looked at Su Jiu'er in surprise, "You can sense dragon veins?"
Su Jiu'er did not respond but silently put away her compass. Lin Yuan seized the moment to interject, "We all have our own skills, just like you do. Since our goals align, let's move forward together."
"Alright," Li Honghe nodded, "let's rest well tonight and set out early tomorrow."
After everyone dispersed, Lin Yuan and Su Jiu'er remained alone in a small tent.
"Do you think they are trustworthy?" Su Jiu'er asked in a low voice.
Lin Yuan shook his head. "Not entirely, but we need their help for now. More importantly, they know things we don't, like the 'Lingqi Guiyuan' plan."
"I can't shake the feeling that they are hiding something," Su Jiu'er frowned. "Especially regarding Han Lingyun."
"Exactly," Lin Yuan nodded. "Li Honghe's reaction when mentioning Han Lingyun was quite subtle. It seems her status in the Qi Gong Association is much higher than we imagined."
"And what about the Dragon Vein Ruins?" Su Jiu'er took out a compass. "The energy fluctuations I sensed are very ancient, yet they carry traces of... modern technology, as if someone has integrated modern elements into ancient ruins."
Lin Yuan pondered, "Could it be that the Qi Gong Association is conducting some sort of experiment? Utilizing the power of ancient dragon veins combined with modern technology..."
"If that's the case," a hint of worry flashed in Su Jiu'er's eyes, "we might be caught up in trouble bigger than we anticipated."
Lin Yuan smiled gently and patted her shoulder. "Don't worry; whatever we encounter, we can handle it. Tomorrow when we go to the Dragon Vein Ruins, everything will become clear."
He looked outside the tent; night had fallen, and distant howls of spirit beasts echoed through the air. This unfamiliar parallel world was filled with unknowns and dangers but also held infinite possibilities.
"By the way," Lin Yuan suddenly remembered something, "has Zhou Haoran made any discoveries?"
"He's analyzing the tissue samples from those spirit beasts," Su Jiu'er replied. "He said their genetic structure is quite unique and seems to be a result of artificial modification."
"Artificial modification?" Lin Yuan furrowed his brow. "It seems this world's secrets are more numerous than we imagined."
Just then, faint footsteps were heard outside the tent. Lin Yuan and Su Jiu'er immediately became alert and prepared for a fight.
The tent flap was gently lifted, and a young cultivator from Tianhua Kingdom peeked in, looking anxious. "Mr. Lin, Director Li requests your immediate presence; there’s an emergency."
Lin Yuan exchanged glances with Su Jiu'er and quickly followed the young man to the main tent. Li Honghe stood before a holographic map, his expression grave.
"What happened?" Lin Yuan asked.
Li Honghe pointed to a flickering red dot on the map. "Our detector has picked up a powerful energy fluctuation near the Dragon Vein Ruins. This energy pattern... is remarkably similar to Han Lingyun's aura."
Lin Yuan's heart skipped a beat. "Are you saying Han Lingyun is also in this world?"
Li Honghe shook his head. "I'm not sure, but this energy is definitely related to her. What's worse is that the energy is rapidly increasing. If this continues..."
He didn't finish his sentence, but everyone understood the gravity of the situation.
Lin Yuan took a deep breath. "It seems we need to change our plans. We can't wait until tomorrow; we must set off now."
Li Honghe nodded. "I'm already prepared." He turned to the others. "Get your weapons and gear ready; we'll depart in ten minutes!"
Just as everyone was busy, a sudden series of violent explosions erupted outside the camp, followed by the howls of spirit beasts and human screams.
"Damn it, we've been discovered!" Li Honghe's expression changed drastically as he drew a long sword that shimmered with Lingqi.
Lin Yuan activated the Time Manipulator, feeling the flow of Lingqi within him. "It seems someone doesn't want us to reach the Dragon Vein Ruins."
At that moment, a cold female voice echoed from outside the camp. "Lin Yuan, I know you're inside. Come out; we need to catch up."
Both Lin Yuan and Su Jiu'er gasped in shock—the voice unmistakably belonged to Han Lingyun!
