Xiao Meng felt as if she were the cream in a sandwich cookie, ready to be squeezed out at any moment. The pressure around her neck made it hard to breathe, and the bloody "Serpent-shaped Uterus" before her churned her stomach, making her want to vomit the leftover food from the night before.
At that moment, the three hundred Infant Arms with their Star Pattern Lock Cores suddenly lit up with a resonating hum, like three hundred bizarre fireworks bursting in the night sky. This light was not ordinary; it had a strange penetrating quality, piercing her eyes like countless tiny needles.
Simultaneously, a peculiar buzzing sound echoed in her ears, reminiscent of the static noise from an old television set when there was no signal, crackling and making her scalp tingle. Even more bizarrely, these beams of light began to intertwine and extend, rapidly spreading like a spider's web, forming a massive Quantum Cage that trapped Black-hearted Grandpa within.
What kind of high technology was this? A collective rebellion of infants? Xiao Meng was bewildered, feeling as if she were watching a sci-fi blockbuster—an IMAX 3D version with explosive special effects and an absurd plot.
As the Quantum Cage took shape, the Mechanical Witch's Delivery Array also began to operate. This Formation Diagram resembled a gigantic Activated Circuit Board, densely packed with various strange symbols and circuits. The Formation Diagram emitted a dazzling white light, and the three hundred infants began to synchronize their "delivery."
Wait, infants delivering? What kind of bizarre operation was this? Xiao Meng widened her eyes in disbelief as she saw that the babies were not actually giving birth but slowly "squeezing" out miniature Starlight Robes from their tiny bodies.
These Long Robes sparkled with starlight, woven from the night sky and exuding an air of mystery. The scene looked increasingly eerie, resembling some sort of cult ritual. Xiao Meng couldn't help but shiver, feeling as though she had fallen into a massive vortex of conspiracy, even more terrifying than Black-hearted Grandpa's Serpent-shaped Uterus.
Just as Xiao Meng was still in shock, an unexpected change occurred! The previously silent Xing Jian suddenly let out a deafening roar, like an enraged beast. His small body began to swell and morph until he transformed into a giant radiating suffocating Starlight Power.
"I will make all the wombs explode simultaneously!" Xing Jian's voice sounded like a demon whispering from hell, filled with destructive intent.
Xiao Meng's heart sank sharply as an overwhelming sense of unease washed over her. She instinctively wanted to escape but found herself firmly bound and unable to move.
It’s over, it’s really over!
Xiao Meng closed her eyes in despair, waiting for the judgment of fate.
“Wait.” A faint voice suddenly echoed in her ear.
Xiao Meng felt her heart racing like a hamster on steroids, thumping so hard it seemed ready to leap out of her throat.
The Serpent-shaped Uterus, which had originally looked like a bloody sausage, began to “duang duang duang” split apart, resembling cell division, causing her sanity to plummet.
What was even more hair-raising was that from each fragment, babies began to emerge, one after another, as if they were instant noodles being cooked—endless and relentless.
These babies were different from the previous Star Pattern Baby; each one was wrinkled and looked like freshly steamed buns, still coated in a sticky liquid that made Xiao Meng feel nauseous.
To make matters worse, they came with their own background music—their cries rose and fell like a chorus of starving ghosts lamenting after eight hundred years, buzzing in her ears.
“Oh my goodness! What is happening? Did Black-hearted Grandpa go into wholesale?” Xiao Meng couldn’t help but complain, feeling as if she had stumbled into some horrific baby factory.
At that moment, she noticed that the babies’ eyes were of various colors—blood red, deep blue, and golden—like a pile of colorful glass marbles.
Even stranger was that their gazes were not those of ordinary infants; instead, they were filled with wisdom and weariness, as if they had lived for hundreds of years like ancient monsters.
Suddenly, a baby with blood-red eyes stretched out its chubby little hand and pointed at Xiao Meng, saying in a babyish voice, “She… she is…”
Before it could finish speaking, another baby with deep blue eyes interrupted excitedly, “She is the witch! The ancient witch!”
Immediately following that, a golden-eyed baby chimed in, “She is the scientist! The future scientist!”
Xiao Meng was utterly bewildered; it felt like her CPU was about to overheat.
How did this group of babies know her identity?
Could they all be prophets?
Just then, the babies suddenly stopped crying and turned their gazes toward Xiao Meng in unison. They slowly crawled toward her like a group of devout followers approaching their deity.
Xiao Meng felt a chill run down her spine as her hair stood on end; she felt surrounded by a horde of zombies.
She wanted to escape but found her legs weighed down as if filled with lead, unable to move.
“What… what do you want?” Xiao Meng’s voice trembled like that of a frightened little rabbit.
The babies didn’t answer; they continued crawling toward her with increasingly fervent and crazed expressions in their eyes.
Xiao Meng felt like a lamb waiting to be slaughtered, about to be devoured by this group of infants. Just then, she felt something poke her in the back, and when she turned around, it was none other than Black-hearted Grandpa.
"My dear daughter, you are the focal point of the True Priestess's birthing ritual," Black-hearted Grandpa's voice was hoarse and chilling, like a venomous snake flicking its tongue.
Before Xiao Meng could react, she felt a tremendous force push her forward. She stumbled a few steps and ultimately fell onto a smooth mirror-like surface. This mirror emitted an eerie glow, resembling a bottomless lake.
Looking down, Xiao Meng was startled to see her reflection transformed into that of an ancient woman dressed in priestess robes. Before she could ponder this further, countless small hands grasped her body and slowly lifted her up.
"What... what do you want..." Xiao Meng's voice grew weaker until it vanished amidst the cacophony of crying infants.
The pupils of all the infants simultaneously reflected Xiao Meng's Three Lifetimes of Memories, playing out like scenes from a movie before them.
"Sacrifice..." a baby's voice echoed hauntingly, sounding like a demonic whisper from hell.
Xiao Meng felt her consciousness beginning to fade. The last thing she saw was Black-hearted Grandpa's sinister smile and the strange light flickering in the infants' eyes.
"Quiet down, children; the show... is just beginning..." Black-hearted Grandpa's voice reverberated in the vast Serpent-shaped Uterus, laced with a chilling excitement.
