Reiner then produced a right-hand token: the Fixed Teleportation Token. By inputting a small amount of magical energy, one could open a spatial portal, allowing for transportation to a predetermined fixed location. The spatial coordinates had already been set in advance, specifically to the Exchange Conference, where someone would be waiting to receive them.
These two Magic Items were obtained for free by Xu Lie from the world of Shendai. They contained magical technology far superior to what was currently available in the Ben Huo world. The Mage's Seeking Board was considered a relatively low-level item; Xu Lie had access to even higher-level items that could cover a range of thousands of miles and could lock onto Magic Items both in the sky and on the ground. However, using such advanced tools in the Ben Huo world would incur exorbitant conversion costs for the company. It was destined that Xu Lie would need to exchange Shendai magic stones for charging and use them personally.
The Fixed Teleportation Token was a small tool that Tuha had once used while taking Xu Lie shopping in the divine realm. This item was incredibly expensive; the company's conversion cost required five hundred points.
Inquilinar grew increasingly excited as he listened, marveling at how such magical Magic Items could exist in the world. This only deepened his appreciation for magic, and he found himself admiring its wonders. Before he could speak, however, the audience watching from Dimension Outside couldn't help but send out Danmaku.
“Haha, if our world had magic, I can’t even imagine what would happen when I skip evening study sessions to go online and get caught by my homeroom teacher with a chessboard!”
“What? Compared to sneaking online during high school, I’m more worried about my husband finding me at this hotel.”
“??? The female user before, please elaborate.”
“I disagree; I think the teleportation token is fantastic! I’d buy two—one fixed at the office and one at home. That way, I wouldn’t have to wake up early for my commute and waste two hours on the road.”
“Magic is indeed convenient, but didn’t the protagonist’s teacher say earlier? You have to awaken your magical power; even if our world had magic, it wouldn’t be possible for you to learn it, and even if you did learn it, you wouldn’t be able to use it.”
“Come on, can’t people have a bit of fantasy?”
“Isn’t anyone paying attention to what this charming old man said about the Truth Gate? Doesn’t that sound impressive?”
Beric was confused and thought such items were quite common in the magical world; all he saw was wonder. Inquilinar understood well that this Magic Item was dangerous: this Mage's Seeking Board must not fall into the wrong hands. If it were obtained by a powerful Evil Mage seeking to hunt down a certain wizard, that wizard would have almost no chance of escape.
Reiner waved his hand reassuringly to his old friend: “This item was obtained through the Truth Gate; currently, Evil Mages cannot possibly grasp its manufacturing method.”
I only have three as well. I'll give you one to help invite the other mages, and I'll give one to Black Mist, just to make it easier for you all to find the remaining mages.
Hearing about the Truth Gate for the second time, I witnessed knowledge being acquired from it to create a Magic Item. Deep down, Inquilinar already believed wholeheartedly that the Truth Gate truly existed! After all, the evidence was right in front of him: Hurry, hurry, let me see!
Reiner couldn't help but chuckle. His old friend was as impatient as ever. As he casually handed over two Magic Items, he reminded, "These are very precious. They're not mine; I still need to return them to someone else. So be careful when you study them; don't break them."
Just as he was about to roughly use his magic to probe into one of them, Inquilinar paused and exclaimed, "Huh? It's not you?"
Reiner's eyes twitched. "Well, I have to go find Black Mist first and then look for the other mages. So please lend me a hand."
