Thunder Magic is notoriously volatile; every time it is cast at close range, it tends to harm the user. Thus, Reiner generally avoids using it in close quarters. Instead, he prefers to combine it with archery. He fires an arrow and then uses the arrow as a coordinate point to summon concentrated Lightning Element, striking the arrow with lightning to achieve a lethal effect.
This method requires intense focus and precision during battle, leading to various unforeseen complications and instability. If he were to follow Xu Lie's suggestion of preparing Lightning Element arrows in advance, he could simply shoot them when combat arises, which would be much more efficient.
Of course, using a bow and arrow allows for a more controlled and stable casting of spells. Finally realizing something was off, Reiner pondered whether the Evil Mage could truly be so benevolent—was there a misunderstanding? No, it wasn’t just a misunderstanding. He recalled his old friend with black hair who was well-versed in Dark Magic—a notorious prankster himself.
He couldn't help but think that these black-haired individuals were truly troublesome!
Clearing his throat awkwardly, he introduced himself, "Alright, alright, my name is Reiner. It's the first time meeting the three of you, and I apologize for my lack of etiquette. I hope you won't find it amusing."
