I can understand it; after all, the previous assassination by the Hawk Faction and their rocket attacks on UFOs made it reasonable for Alien Life to retaliate.

They hurriedly dispatched various personnel to investigate and quickly concluded that the explosion was merely from a Tactical Nuclear Weapon. Just like the previous explosion at Metropolis Port involving Tactical Nuclear Weapons, it was suspected to be from the same batch.
The explosion occurred at the Hawk Faction's estate, and there were no further repercussions. Surveillance footage captured glimpses of an Alien UFO in the vicinity.
Thus, they found themselves in yet another emergency online meeting. The Great Federation's Senior Management noticed some absent members and exchanged glances.
Once a triumvirate, now only the Dove Faction and Centrists remained; not a single member of the Hawk Faction was present.
Those who had previously collaborated with the Hawk Faction felt a sense of loss, while those who had poor relations with them were elated, almost ready to celebrate with fireworks, believing that in the future Great Federation, it would be their Dove Faction that would take center stage.
Some members who felt detached pondered whether they should change their name; given how things were going, what were they still centrist about?
Ahem. Finally, one member from the Dove Faction stood up: "Shall we discuss this first? If we keep silent like this, we won't be able to hold this meeting."
Now they should establish a tone regarding the demise of the Hawk Faction. Was this a terrorist attack by Alien Life? Or did the Hawk Faction bring this upon themselves by attempting to assassinate Alien Life?
Before anyone else could speak, Xu Lie's figure appeared in the meeting. Previously, while planning their schemes, Xu Lie and two Bionic Persons had kept their hacking skills under wraps.
Now that things were more or less settled, Xu Lie had no reservations and boldly hacked into the meeting as if he were returning home: "Mind if you add me in?"

The members of the Dove Faction and the Centrists all felt a tightness in their faces, their pupils shaking with shock. How could they have been hacked by Alien Life during such a heavily encrypted network meeting? With so many cybersecurity protocols and layers of firewalls, there was not a single response?
Regardless of their faction, everyone felt a chill deep within. They vaguely recalled when Alien UFOs first appeared in the metropolis, and many scientists reached a consensus: they were facing a technological superiority that was akin to a dimensional strike.
Given humanity's current level of technology, it was entirely impossible to contend with Alien Life. Numerous scientists had concluded that they were simply unbeatable. Now, they truly understood the wisdom of those scientists; just this level of network technology far surpassed their own capabilities.
Shaken by the alien technology, the Great Federation's Senior Management felt an unprecedented sense of dread. One member from the Dove Faction clearly stated, "We respect the fierce nature of this situation. The assassination attempt by the Hawk Faction was entirely their own decision! We had no prior knowledge of it, and now that they have been wiped out by nuclear weapons, it is simply their deserved fate."
The Centrists were equally unwilling to back down: "The Hawk Faction's actions are far too reckless; they do not align with our love for peace at all."
