The Bionic Persons created by the production company were indistinguishable from real humans; they were lively and possessed intelligence. When Xu Lie left the worlds of Not Allowed to Fall in Love and Cang Hai Jue, the company would create a Bionic Person resembling him for free, allowing it to stay in the Script World. This way, if Xu Lie ever wanted to return to those Script Worlds, there wouldn’t be any issues.
He could single-handedly take on both the underworld and the law in the metropolis, buying abilities from the company to fight through an entire city alone. This would certainly entertain the audience, but such chaos was not as grand as Xu Lie’s true plan; this time, he intended to create something even more shocking.
Soon, Xu Lie found out the price of a Bionic Person—it was somewhat expensive. The starting price was one hundred points with no upper limit. The cheapest option allowed for customization of face, age, gender, and height, with basic attributes adjustable up to three times that of an average human. The company even provided corresponding intelligence based on age and gender to ensure that the Bionic Person would not encounter any issues when following Xu Lie into the Script World. There was no need to worry about ending up with a malfunctioning artificial intelligence.
Of course, this basic model of Bionic Person lacked any special knowledge or skills; if he wanted those, he would need to pay extra. Just like when Xu Lie had previously spent two hundred points for a Bionic Person that stayed behind in Not Allowed to Fall in Love, purchasing Test Tube Technology for it so it could take his place at the Biological Research Institute.
Not only that, but there was also a character background—another expense. He could choose not to spend that money; however, a Bionic Person bought this way would be considered an illegal resident in the Black and White world.
This wasn’t particularly difficult; it just required some hassle. Xu Lie would have to personally find gangs within the metropolis to buy fake identification for the necessary number of illegal resident Bionic Persons so they could live normally afterward.
Xu Lie thought for a moment and decided that four Bionic Persons would be enough—two high-end custom models and two of the cheapest variety.
During the first attempt at creating faces, Xu Lie was quite enthusiastic. He experimented with various hairstyles, facial features, and even the minute detail of the distance between the eyebrows, trying to craft a face that looked appealing. However, after half an hour without finishing a single face, Xu Lie lost patience and opted to set up basic character parameters: gender, and then let the system automatically generate the appearance.
Next came the purchase of skills. The shooting skill was quite impressive; for just one hundred points, both Xu Lie and the Bionic Persons could become God Shooters. He bought it without hesitation.
The close combat skill was also good—very practical—so he purchased that as well. Hacker Skills? Absolutely necessary in a metropolis; he bought those too. Tracking and anti-tracking skills? He bought those as well.
After purchasing the character skills, Xu Lie spent a total of five thousand points to write backgrounds for himself and the Bionic Persons. Looking at the remaining points, Xu Lie revealed a smug smile: "Still this much left? I’ll take a small spaceship and two Tactical Nuclear Weapons."
The Tactical Nuclear Weapons produced by the system were also affordable at five hundred points each—a true bargain. Even though the spaceship was a small model, it was still somewhat expensive, costing two thousand points.
Without a hint of hesitation, Xu Lie paid for his purchases with a casual flair.
