Onboard a dozen ships, a young crew member in a cardigan vest gazed greedily at the Three Giant Ships before him, showing no signs of fear.
Shui Laohu was equally envious, his mouth watering at the sight of the Three Giant Ships. From his nickname, it was clear that he was exceptionally ruthless; any merchant ship that fell into his hands rarely left with survivors. Over time, he had built a notorious reputation for his brutality.
Despite his greed, Shui Laohu remained rational: "Don't get ahead of yourself! We definitely can't seize it. Prepare over at Second-in-Command's place. Once we get closer, we'll go for the ship. And make sure the crew is alert; we can't let anyone crash into us!"
The Three Giant Ships were colossal maritime behemoths. Shui Laohu was certain that if they collided head-on, there would be no escape for him—only destruction awaited.
Some of the more timid pirates expressed their fears: "Boss, this isn't something we can just bite off. Are we really going to engage?"
Shui Laohu shot a disdainful glance at this crew member, instantly deeming him unfit for duty: "What are you panicking for?! No matter how big the ship is, someone has to steer it! The Noble Person said that all those Sailors up there are just landlubbers! Not one of them knows how to swim; they’re probably seasick and lying down right now! As long as we’re careful not to get hit, no matter how big it is, it can still sink!"
In truth, Shui Laohu hadn’t shared with his crew that the Noble Person had not only revealed the Sailors' weaknesses but had also provided him with a million taels as an expense allowance. There was no need to announce this; enjoying the spoils alone was far more satisfying.
The other crew members eagerly chimed in: "Yeah! The boss told us before we set out that big ships only look intimidating; they’re really not that formidable at all. Afraid? If you're scared, go back and eat dirt—we don’t need cowards! Hahaha!"

Before their departure, Shui Laohu had emphasized several times that this group of Sailors had only recently trained and were mostly inexperienced landlubbers. This is why the pirates felt so bold upon seeing the Three Giant Ships for the first time—they weren’t intimidated by its massive size and instead felt a greedy urge to attack.
As the pirates communicated among themselves, their conversation was captured on camera without missing a beat.

The Sailors seemed to understand the pirates' intentions as well. Instead of shooting arrows from a distance, they oddly allowed the pirate ships to approach their hulls without resistance.
Wu Qianchuan coldly watched the pirate ships below, observing the empty decks as if he were looking at a bunch of turtles retreating into their shells. "Hide? Can you really hide?"

His Confidant quickly held up an odd-looking bundle. It was made of several thick ropes haphazardly tying together rolls of cowhide paper, with only a thin line left hanging outside.

Wu Qianchuan felt a surge of tension as he took out the Fire Starter from his pocket, turning his back to shield it from the wind. After blowing on it several times, he finally managed to ignite the Fire Starter.
