Xu Lie couldn’t help but admire this Newcomer Suggestions guide—it was truly a manual for slacking off. The author even provided detailed examples of which genres of film and television dramas were good for slacking off. No wonder the first line of the Newcomer Suggestions suggested that it could be seen as sharing or as suppressing newcomers' enthusiasm.
Unfortunately, Xu Lie was only interested in causing trouble and had no interest in slacking off. Of course, there were other suggestions not related to slacking off; one whole page discussed how if an actor had someone they cared about back home, they must return. Not to mention the ability to spend points to purchase bloodlines and skills, gradually achieving longevity. Just this prospect alone is enough to sway actors who do not have a strong desire to return home.
It is likely that those actors who run shops in the hall of the Script World feel similarly; they neither wish to resurrect and leave nor can they forget the flavors of their hometowns. Thus, they open restaurants that serve dishes reminiscent of their roots.
In the end, Xu Lie casually chose a restaurant that caught his eye, filled himself up, and then returned to his private space to select scripts.
