The Special Investigation Team was highly efficient; within five minutes, nearly all members had gathered in the conference room, with external members joining via video conference. The only delay was due to escorting Lu Youyou away from Mo Meilin.
Upon seeing Mo Meilin, Zhang Yutao first asked, "How is it?"
Mo Meilin understood what the team leader was inquiring about: she had provided the necessary documentation and internship certification, and had also contacted Lu Youyou's mother to inform her that she was on her way home. However, Lu Youyou's mother was worried and insisted on coming to pick her up. I suggested that Lu Youyou wait downstairs for a bit; she seemed to be in good spirits overall.
Zhang Yutao gave a knowing glance, prompting Mo Meilin to turn around and relay the information about Xu Lie and Lu Youyou to the members of the Special Investigation Team.
Before anyone could scold Xu Lie for his arrogance and ignorance, Zhang Yutao took charge: "Here's what we know. The suspect is hiding in General Hospital. The hospital is extremely sensitive; we can't afford any mistakes!"

"Additionally, we must prevent someone like Xu Lie, who possesses high intelligence, from setting traps. The Bomb Disposal Team will confirm whether there are any explosives in the hospital or nearby parking lots. Other teams will depart five minutes later."
"This operation will include drones. The undercover team is permitted to carry stun guns and sidearms. If the situation becomes critical and we can ensure no harm comes to the public, they are authorized to fire."
Lu Youyou's voicemail message from Xu Lie essentially confirmed his identity as the bomber, meaning the Special Investigation Team would no longer refer to him as a suspect.
Everyone in the Special Investigation Team acted without hesitation, quickly mobilizing. Although the prospect of shooting someone seemed exaggerated and out of character for them, like Zhang Yutao, they were furious at Xu Lie for choosing such a sensitive location as a hospital. With Xu Lie's reckless decision to storm into the hospital, they couldn't afford to dwell on anything else.
Zhang Yutao felt particularly pressured by higher authorities demanding a swift resolution to the case; they would certainly expect public accountability for apprehending a criminal. How could they justify shooting someone?
However, since Xu Lie had chosen such a sensitive location as a hospital, Zhang Yutao found himself unable to consider all aspects.
Before long, three fully loaded elevators began their ascent. The Bomb Disposal Team set off first, armed to the teeth, speeding away with urgency.

Lu Youyou was worried about Xu Lie. When she first received his message, she was overjoyed and spent three days sharing everything with him. She talked about how good the food was for the Special Investigation Team and how fast the internet connection was.
But when Lu Youyou read Xu Lie's last message, her joy turned to anger. Why would such a smart person expose his whereabouts? Was he not afraid of being caught?
Lu Youyou felt frustrated. She had followed Xu Lie's instructions and managed to fool the Special Investigation Team. So why did he have to reveal himself now? She was doing just fine in the Special Investigation Team, eating and drinking well without a care in the world. Xu Lie's sudden appearance felt like a death sentence.
What infuriated her even more was that no matter how many messages she sent, Xu Lie no longer replied, and when she tried calling, it only indicated that his phone was turned off.
