Lu Youyou was enveloped in a low-pressure atmosphere, silently expressing her frustration to those around her. The teacher on the podium noticed her distress and asked a few questions, confirming that she wasn't feeling unwell before continuing with the lesson.
"How amusing! Why do I find it so entertaining to see the Female Second Lead angry?"
"Well, it’s understandable. After being so troubled for so long, dealing with insomnia and trying to get Xu Lie's number without success would drive anyone crazy."
"By the way, where is Xu Lie? Did he really sprain his ankle and stay home to rest?"

While the audience was having a great time teasing Lu Youyou, a light melody interrupted the teacher's lecture. The teacher frowned and looked towards the source of the sound, discovering Lu Youyou frantically pulling out her phone.
Lu Youyou felt extremely embarrassed as she glanced at the caller ID showing Xu Lie's name, nearly biting her tongue in frustration. "I-I’m sorry, teacher! I have a call from home; I need to step out for a moment."
The audience erupted in laughter again; Lu Youyou was simply too entertaining for them. The teacher furrowed his brow, recalling Lu Youyou's earlier gloomy mood. Seeing her sincere apology, he waved his hand, signaling her to go ahead.
Gratefully, Lu Youyou thanked the teacher and dashed out of the classroom, rushing to the stairwell to answer the call. "Do you know I'm in class right now?!"
Xu Lie on the other end was equally confused. "In class? Then why did you text me so urgently?"
After failing to reach him by phone earlier, Lu Youyou had sent a message saying she needed to talk urgently. Xu Lie had thought she was just being dramatic.
"Are you in class?"
To prepare for what was coming next, Xu Lie had to retract his Mini Robot. He was cautious of Lu Youyou but couldn't let that stop him from using the Mini Robot altogether.
Fortunately, since Lu Youyou hadn’t reported him on the first night of the incident, the chances of her doing so later were quite low. Plus, with Danmaku keeping an eye on things, Xu Lie didn’t have to monitor Lu Youyou constantly.
When he checked Danmaku earlier, most of the content was about Lu Youyou looking for Lin Yuanliang, leading Xu Lie to believe that she might not even be at school anymore.
The scene shifted to Xu Lie’s luxurious hotel room, showcasing his current surroundings to the audience.
The hotel room exuded a sense of understated luxury, devoid of dazzling decorations, yet adorned with exquisite landscape and floral paintings reminiscent of a court artist's work. Every piece of furniture was handcrafted, showcasing unique artistry; in this realm, the value of handmade creations far surpassed that of Xu Lie's previous possessions.
Having exchanged his remaining points for an endless supply of cash, Xu Lie naturally intended to indulge himself. He sensed the camera's gaze crossing the space and tucked away his casual demeanor, adopting a slightly more serious tone. "I saw your message saying it was urgent, so I called back."
"This room is quite upscale. Does Nan Er's family have such good conditions? Didn't they say his sister worked hard just to make ends meet?"
"This must be a hotel suite, right? It doesn't look like home."
"Perhaps after his sister passed away, Nan Er worked hard and made a fortune. But why is he staying in a hotel? It's truly mysterious."
Lu Youyou bit her lip, wanting to vent her long-held frustrations but ultimately decided against it. Although her negative emotions stemmed from Xu Lie, she didn't want to take it out on him. The pressing matter was to clarify Xu Lie's whereabouts. "Where are you?" she asked.
