"The burden has been lifted." Tang Seng watched their departing figures, a cold smile curling at the corners of his mouth, as if he had shed a thousand-pound weight, feeling considerably lighter. 0

He turned around and gently addressed Ms . Cui Sheng, " lady Cui, what’s troubling you this morning? Why do you seem so downcast?" 0

Ms . Cui Sheng sighed, her voice tinged with melancholy. "I am not at ease in my heart, so I composed a piece called 'Wu Qi Qu' that I wanted to sing for you." With that, she slowly rose and walked to the window, gazing at the bright moonlight outside, and began to sing softly: 0

"The moonlight shines on the stars, 0
The sound of dripping water beats like a drum. 0
Longing and memories block the river bridge, 0
Pity the souls who endure this lonely night!" 0

Her sorrowful voice echoed through the silent night like a cuckoo's lament, breaking hearts with its haunting melody. As she finished her song, Ms . Cui Sheng could no longer contain her grief; she collapsed into Tang Seng's arms, weeping uncontrollably. " Husband, our Fate seems destined to end!" 0

Tang Seng was startled by her words and quickly comforted her in a soft voice. " lady Cui, how can you say such things? My heart is true to you; the heavens can bear witness. How could I ever bear to leave you?" 0

She looked up at him with tear-filled eyes and choked out, "You are about to leave, yet you speak so cruelly! Can you truly bear to abandon me?" 0

As she spoke, she pointed towards the south with a forlorn expression. " Husband, look to the south and you will understand." 0

Tang Seng felt a sense of unease rising within him as he followed Ms . Cui Sheng's finger. In the distance, he saw a group of soldiers surrounding a yellow flag galloping towards them. An ominous premonition surged through him, accompanied by an inexplicable panic. 0

Before long, the upper floor was filled with soldiers clad in bright armor. A man in purple robes approached Tang Seng holding an imperial edict and bowed deeply. "I am Tang Dynasty Angel, here by decree to summon Killing Green General to mobilize troops immediately!" Without waiting for a response, he commanded his men to restrain Tang Seng and clad him in heavy armor. 0

It was then that Tang Seng realized that this Killing Green General was none other than himself! He had descended from the celestial realm as a star and now found himself unable to escape his fate, being pushed towards the battlefield by destiny itself. 0

He wanted to break free, to see Cui Sheng one last time, but the soldiers held him tightly like iron towers. The Purple Robed Official unfolded the imperial edict and read the emperor's orders aloud; each word struck at Tang Seng's heart like a death knell. 0

Finally, the ceremony came to an end. The Purple Robed Official pressed a cold official seal into Tang Seng's hand and said in a deep voice, "General, the Western barbarians are advancing aggressively; you must not delay!" 0

"Wait!" Tang Seng suddenly shook off the official's hand. "Let me bid farewell to my family!" 0

He stumbled toward the back hall, only to find Cui Sheng already waiting there. Her once vibrant face was now devoid of color, but her eyes shone with an astonishing brightness. 0

" Husband..." Cui Sheng trembled as she reached out her hand, wanting to touch Tang Seng's cheek, but hesitated as if afraid of disturbing something. Halfway through, she withdrew her hand. 0

" lady Cui, I..." Tang Seng felt a whirlwind of emotions but didn't know how to express them. 0

Cui Sheng smiled sadly. " Husband, we are husband and wife. Now that you must go protect our home and country, I should be happy for you, but I cannot bear to part with you!" 0

She held Tang Seng tightly, as if trying to merge herself into his body. " Husband, you are frail; when you reach the battlefield, you must take care of yourself. Be not too harsh with your soldiers, and do not trust the surrendered easily. Also, in spring do not linger too long among the flowers, and in summer do not seek out cool breezes." 0

Cui Sheng continued to speak, but Tang Seng could not absorb a single word. He felt her voice growing fainter, as if it were coming from far away. 0

" lady Cui! lady Cui!" Tang Seng tried to embrace Cui Sheng, but his hands passed through her body. It was then he realized that her form had become transparent without him noticing, as if she would vanish into the wind at any moment. 0

" Husband, I cannot bear to part with you, but I cannot let you be troubled either." Cui Sheng's voice grew softer until it turned into a sigh. "Very well, I shall relinquish this frail body and go with you." 0

Before her words faded away, Cui Sheng's form transformed into specks of starlight and scattered into the air. Tang Seng blinked in disbelief; when he looked again, Cui Sheng had vanished without a trace. 0

“ lady Cui! lady Cui!” Tang Seng cried out with a heart-wrenching voice, but all he heard in return was the echo of his own words. 0

At that moment, the Purple Robed Official stepped forward and, without hesitation, pulled Tang Seng up, guiding him down the stairs. 0

Tang Seng turned back for a glance and saw that in the Garden, where Cui Sheng had once stood, there was only a clear pool of water, shimmering with a cold light under the moon. 0
