"Strange! Are the days in the future world lived in reverse? I just can't make sense of it!" Wu Kong scratched his head, utterly perplexed. He had never been interested in these trivial matters, and now he was even more confused. 0

As he pondered whether to capture the creature responsible for the calendar to ask some questions, a Judge hurriedly entered the hall to report, "Your Excellency, Great Sage, tonight we are to try the Prime Minister of the Song Dynasty, Qin Quai." 0

"Qin Quai?" Wu Kong snorted coldly, a flicker of disdain crossing his eyes. "This fellow must have been an utterly wicked traitor in his past life. If he sees me with my kind and benevolent monk appearance, he will probably feel no fear at all." 0

With this thought in mind, Wu Kong suddenly had an idea. He instructed the Judge, "Quickly bring me my official robes. I want Qin Quai to see what a true Yama King looks like!" 0

Before long, the Judge returned with a set of imposing official robes. Wu Kong took the robes and donned them leisurely. He wore the Nine-Dragon Crown and draped himself in a majestic robe, stepping into iron boots that made him look just like a Yama King. 0

On the table lay a silver inkstone and two large vermilion brushes on a copper pen rack. To his left were three sign tubes: one for the Chief Judge, one for the presiding Judge, and one for nameless ghost officials. 0

Wu Kong sat at the head of the hall, surveying those below with an imposing presence. With a wave of his hand, he commanded, "Summon the Five Direction Ghost Judges, each leading five hundred ghostly spirits to await orders before Hall of Reverent Will!" 0

As soon as he finished speaking, the Five Direction Ghost Judges appeared with their respective teams. 0

The Green Robe Judge led five hundred Qin spirits: Qing Mian, Qing Pi, Qing Ya, Qing Zhi, and Qing Mao; the Huang Jin Judge brought five hundred fierce Qin ghosts: Jin Mian, Golden Reed Flute, Jin Bi, Jin Tou, Jin Yan, and Jin Ya; the Red-Bearded Judge commanded five hundred shameful Qin spirits: Chi Mian, Chi Shen, Chi Yi, Chi Bone, Chi Dan, and Chi Xin; the Judge Bai Du led five hundred small ghosts to punish Qin: Su Gan, Su Fei, Su Yan, Su Chang, Su Shen, and Su Kou; while the Dark-Faced Judge brought five hundred beautiful ghosts who only punished hearts but not darkness: Hei Yi, Black Skirt, Heimao, Hei Gu, Hei Tou, and Hei Jiao. 0

The Five Direction Ghost Judges arranged themselves according to the five elemental directions in neat formations before Hall of Reverent Will. They stood ready for Wu Kong's command to tear Qin Quai into pieces! 0

Additionally, Wu Kong assigned Snow White Headscarf, Exposed Bones, Sandalwood Face, and Copper Bell Eyed Child as wind messengers guarding outside the eastern curtain; Blood Dot Headscarf, Exposed Bones again, Pink Face, and E Elephant Nose were stationed outside the western curtain under Judge Xu's supervision. 0

There were also six hundred escorting ghosts led by Grass-Head Flower-Face, Insect Throat Wind Eye, and Tie Shou Tong Tou under Judge Cui's command; one hundred Book-Delivering and Letter-Passing Ghost Messenger with Tiger Head Tiger Mouth and Bull Horns and Bull Feet; one Ghost Messenger wearing a Scallion Hat who welcomed and sent off spirits; two hundred disheveled ghosts with Rolling Curtain Brush; and seven hundred Music-Playing Messenger with Nine Dragon Feet and Phoenix Head—all performing their duties in perfect order. 0

On this day, the Underworld was shrouded in a grim atmosphere, filled with a palpable sense of impending judgment. Everyone knew that a trial against the ancient sinner, Qin Quai, was about to commence. 0

Wu Kong shook his golden fur and, without lifting his eyelids, casually commanded, “Go, set up the Iron Wind Flag for me!” The Judge, hearing this, hurriedly nodded and scurried away. Before long, a black iron flagpole rose outside Hall of Reverent Will, piercing the sky as if it intended to break through the ominous clouds above. Two White Flags fluttered in the chilling wind, emblazoned with eight gleaming golden characters: “Avenge and Redress Grievances, Uphold Justice and Punish Evil.” 0

Only then did Wu Kong raise his eyelids to glance at the flag, a cold smile curling at the corners of his mouth. “The characters are written quite forcefully! Now go and post a Notice that says, ‘ Rightful Heir Sun is here. The Heavenly Law is vast and unfeeling; you officials of the Underworld, who dares to be corrupt or unjust? My Ruyi Jingu Bang recognizes no one!’” The Judge did not dare to delay and quickly ordered the little ghosts to put up the Notice. 0

After completing these tasks, Wu Kong recalled something else and pointed to a sturdy beam in the east. “Go, hang up that scoundrel’s nameplate so that when we meet later, I won’t fail to recognize this ancient sinner!” With that, he waved a furry monkey paw casually. The little ghosts understood and carefully hoisted a massive wooden sign, trembling as they hung it up. The sign was made from an unknown type of wood that gleamed darkly; on it were the two golden characters “Qin Quai,” radiating a ghostly glow in the dim hall, making it particularly eye-catching. 0

With everything prepared, Wu Kong finally commanded them to roll up the curtain. A few small Ghost Messengers scrambled to the front of the curtain and struggled mightily to raise the enormous drape adorned with Mighty Tiger Descending the Mountain. The Judges had already lined up on either side according to their ranks, all bowing their heads respectfully, devoid of their usual imposing demeanor. 0

“Boom! Boom! Boom!” The sound of drums erupted outside as the sounds of sea corners and cloud boards resonated together, causing pain in one’s eardrums. Soon after, several little ghosts rushed in carrying a White Flag; on it were the large characters “Thief of Song Qin Hui,” fluttering uncertainly in the chilling wind as if accusing Qin Quai of his numerous crimes. 0

“The Thief of Song Qin Hui plaque enters—!” A sharp voice pierced through the air and echoed within the hall. Following this was another deafening chorus of drums and horns; inside the hall, a Judge with sharp fangs struck a massive Duo Xie Bell. With a resounding clang, it felt as if the entire Underworld trembled! 0

Once the names were called out, Wu Kong slowly stood up, his gaze like lightning as he surveyed the trembling Qin Quai below. He shouted loudly, “Release this scoundrel’s bindings and bring him forward; I want to personally interrogate him!” Several little ghosts hurriedly lifted the limp Qin Quai from the ground and nervously untied his bindings. Qin Quai was so frightened that his face turned pale; his legs trembled uncontrollably as he could barely stand upright, collapsing back onto the ground while shaking all over and not daring to breathe. 0

Seeing this, Wu Kong's eyes flashed with disdain as he coldly remarked, “Prime Minister Qin, I’ve long admired your name; welcome!” 0
