After chatting with Shi Yunfeng for a while, Kei Yunqing and Zhong Li arrived at the training ground.
The training area was divided into two groups. One side consisted of some children from Shi Village, while the other side featured Kong Tianqi, Kong Qing Hu, and Shi Hao. Although the training methods of Kong Tianqi and Kong Qing Hu seemed inhumane to others, Shi Hao found them quite enjoyable and joined them in their exercises.
With the village chief's assistance, Shi Hao's body showed no signs of injury or premature use of potential. In fact, he was progressing much faster than he had in the original timeline. At around two and a half years old, he had already reached the strength level of a three-and-a-half-year-old in the original story. Lifting the thousand-pound Hei Ding was no trouble for him, but he was puzzled as to why his two companions seemed stronger than him and struggled to lift their Hei Ding.
After trying out Kong Tianqi and Kong Qing Hu's Hei Ding, he discovered that their weights were significantly heavier than his own. At least, Shi Hao couldn't tell just how heavy they were; he could only manage to shake their Hei Ding slightly.
On the other side, the other children from Shi Village had also made considerable progress after numerous Yao Yu sessions, with the strongest among them barely able to lift a Hei Ding.
When Kei Yunqing and Zhong Li arrived, Kong Qing Hu and Kong Tianqi were still training while Shi Hao rested nearby, sipping on Beast Milk. Although he was already two and a half years old, he still enjoyed drinking milk, especially the Beast Milk made by Village Chief Shi Yunfeng.
As Kei Yunqing's clone dissipated naturally upon his arrival, neither Kong Qing Hu nor Kong Tianqi noticed it. However, Shi Hao immediately realized that Kei Yunqing's clone was gone and then spotted Kei Yunqing and Zhong Li approaching. His eyes lit up as he ran over.
"Uncle Yunqing! Uncle Zhong Li! You’re back!"
Kei Yunqing crouched down with a smile and ruffled Shi Hao's hair.
"Little One, we’re back! How have you been getting along with Tianqi and Li Qinghu?"
"I get along well with Tianqi and Li Qinghu!" Shi Hao replied enthusiastically.
"Don’t listen to him! We just acknowledged that he has the right to train with us!"
Shi Hao’s voice was quite loud, prompting Kong Tianqi and Kong Qing Hu to turn around at once when they heard Kei Yunqing’s name, while also responding to Shi Hao’s comment.
Shi Hao scratched his head.
"Is that so? I feel like we get along pretty well."
Kong Qing Hu playfully punched Shi Hao on the head.
"We are just training partners! We inherited our father's talent, and we will definitely become strong. You grew up in Shi Village, so you can't keep up with us!"
Hearing Kong Qing Hu's words, Shi Hao didn't know what to say. He had indeed grown up in Shi Village, and only the village chief, Shi Yunfeng, had ever told him about the outside world. But Shi Hao was unsure whether he had the ability to venture beyond Shi Village.
Kei Yunqing looked at Shi Hao's dejected expression and gently patted his head. "Little One has great potential too! Li Qinghu, don't underestimate Little One."
Upon hearing Kei Yunqing's words, Kong Qing Hu scrutinized Shi Hao from head to toe, then turned to Kei Yunqing with a look that seemed to question his certainty.
Kei Yunqing smiled. "When assessing someone, it's not just about their current performance; you also have to consider their future potential. Sometimes, Qi Yun is something that cannot be easily articulated!"
Qi Yun, simply put, refers to luck—the kind of luck that allows one to encounter opportunities whenever they step outside and turn crises into safe passages.
Qi Yun is generally bestowed randomly by the universe upon different beings, though there are ways to enhance it as well. Kong Tianqi and Kong Qing Hu's Qi Yun originates from Kei Yunqing; both of them possess exceptionally high Qi Yun—perhaps even higher than Shi Hao's.
Of course, Qi Yun can change with the unfolding of events and circumstances. As Shi Hao grows stronger, his Qi Yun will also increase.
"Ugh, this flu is really annoying; my head still feels a bit dizzy."
