Zhong Li had considered capturing a massive Wild Beast as a mount. However, Wild Beasts held a strong prejudice against smaller creatures, and even if they were unable to defeat them, they would still resist fiercely. Every time Zhong Li expressed a desire to tame them, they would fight back with all their might, refusing to submit to a creature of smaller stature.
These Wild Beasts certainly had some pride. Zhong Li looked at the dead Wild Beasts and spoke. Li Yunqing chuckled softly. Was this pride? It was merely a form of dignity. In the minds of the Wild Beasts, the larger the size, the stronger the power. To be defeated by a smaller human and then be tamed by one was simply unacceptable.
Zhong Li nodded, choosing not to say more. The crux of the matter lay in their inability to communicate; although they possessed some intelligence, it was marred by primitive thoughts that could not comprehend concepts like refinement or essence. Taming required strength, and Zhong Li's high defense allowed him to endure damage while gradually wearing them down.
The Wild Beasts did not hold much reverence for Zhong Li; in their eyes, he was merely a small hedgehog with a thick shield. If Li Yunqing were to exert his pressure directly on the Wild Beasts, it might compel them to submit immediately. This illustrated the gap in their martial power.
Li Yunqing's Spiritual Power extended over a vast area, encompassing the entire wilderness within his observation range. He could accurately locate treasures like Bao Yao and Treasure Bone, leading Zhong Li directly toward those points with ease. Most Bao Yao and Treasure Bone remained undiscovered, which explained why they were still around; otherwise, they would have been taken long ago.
Of course, some Bao Yao were not ripe yet, but even unripe ones would be consumed by the Wild Beasts due to their opportunistic nature. Except for a few types of Bao Yao that were toxic before ripening, most were safe to eat. This knowledge was ingrained in the genes of the Wild Beasts as they survived in the wilderness.
However, they lacked any special sensitivity when it came to finding Bao Yao and Treasure Bone. Generally, it was the fragrance emitted by ripe Bao Yao and the allure of Bao Guang that attracted them.
The hidden Bao Yao and Treasure Bone, along with the Wild Beasts, remained undetected, which allowed Li Yunqing and Zhong Li to reap significant rewards.
A large portion of the Bao Yao and Treasure Bone was located in special underground caves that required unique methods to access. Even if a Wild Beast passed over these underground caves, it would never suspect that beneath its feet lay the very Bao Yao and Treasure Bone it desperately desired.
These Bao Yao should be sufficient for the Little Ones, as their quality is quite impressive. However, Shi Yunfeng needs to be instructed on the proper dosage; otherwise, the other children may not be able to handle an overdose!
After hearing Li Yunqing's words, Zhong Li nodded in agreement.
Compared to the Bao Yao, Zhong Li's attention was primarily focused on the Treasure Bone. The Treasure Bone was mostly left behind by powerful Wild Beasts, naturally displaying patterns that reflected the strength of these creatures. This is what made it a bone.
There was also a small chance that a complete Wild Beast Treasure Technique could appear alongside the Treasure Bone, which held even greater value than the bone itself. This represented the most direct manifestation of a Wild Beast's power.
In addition to being remnants of some formidable Wild Beasts, there were also unique Wild Beasts that left behind special Treasure Bones. These creatures possessed abilities distinct from other Wild Beasts. The likelihood of these Treasure Bones containing a Treasure Technique was even greater, as if they intended to leave a legacy behind.
