After Shinobu Kocho left, Kei Yunqing and the others moved to a different venue. Kanao Tsuyuri's match was taking place in another area. When Kei Yunqing and the others arrived, the previous match was still ongoing. 0

They observed that both sides were evenly matched. Unlike a one-sided battle that offered a quick thrill, this kind of contest was more enjoyable to watch. At least, that was what the audience thought. After a long while, one of the participants finally collapsed from exhaustion. Once both fighters exited the arena, Kanao Tsuyuri jumped down to face her opponent, who wielded a large sword. 0

The match began. The opponent charged forward, having observed Kanao's previous fight. He believed that while her techniques were powerful, they required time to develop, so he planned to strike first. 0

With a mighty roar, he gripped his sword with both hands and swung downwards with tremendous force, the wind howling around him as he did so. Kanao held tightly to her sword hilt. 0

"Flower Breathing: Third Form - Plum Blossom Dance!" 0

Several strikes infused with plum blossom petals sliced through the air, sending her opponent flying backward. Petals danced in the wind like a flurry of blossoms. 0

"Flower Breathing: Third Form - Plum Blossom Dance: Three Cold!" 0

A storm of plum blossoms swirled toward him as he attempted to slash at them with his sword. However, after only a few swings, he sensed something was wrong. Gripping the hilt of his sword, he felt an unusual chill creeping up his arm. He paused and looked at his blade, realizing it was already covered in ice that was spreading towards his hand. 0

He tried to channel his energy into his hands to slow down the encroaching frost, but it only delayed the inevitable slightly. The icy tendrils continued their relentless advance across his body, visible to the naked eye as they approached him swiftly. 0

Looking around, I noticed that the plum blossoms had yet to fall. I could only lower my head and sigh. 0

"I concede!" 0

The Daoist priest was aware that Kanao Tsuyuri was from the Yunqing Sect, and given that members of the Yunqing Sect often left their opponents injured, he paid extra attention to the arena. Upon hearing the concession, he immediately called out. 0

"The winner is Kanao Tsuyuri!" 0

Then he rushed over to assess the situation, touching the ice, which surprisingly extended towards his hand. 0

Turning back to glance at Kanao Tsuyuri, I saw her approaching them. She lightly tapped one person with the back of her blade. 0

Afterward, the ice transformed into plum blossoms, falling to the ground before vanishing without a trace. 0

"Thank you, miss." 0

"It's nothing." 0

Kanao Tsuyuri left the arena and walked over to Kei Yunqing's side. 0

"You did well," Kei Yunqing praised. 0

Hearing this compliment, Kanao Tsuyuri smiled softly. "I just wanted to try out my new technique; it seems to have worked quite well." 0

Kei Yunqing chuckled at her words. As a Hashira, Kanao Tsuyuri's Breathing Technique was self-created based on Water Breathing, and she hadn't trained for very long. The reason it was called Flower Breathing was simply because of her love for flowers; she infused her understanding and affection for them into her Water Breathing techniques. 0

As a pioneer, she had lived for less than a few years, and there weren't many existing Breathing Techniques compared to others. Now that she was alive, she could naturally refine her Breathing Technique further. 0

Shinobu Kocho was similar; her Insect Breathing was derived from her sister's Flower Breathing. 0

It combined its own characteristic of speed. Due to the nature of the techniques being thrusts, there weren't many moves—only four in total. Since they were all thrusting techniques, Shinobu Kocho didn't consider them true sword techniques, referring to them simply as a dance. 0

Now that her body was stronger, perhaps there would be more techniques in the future. The competition had nearly come to an end; only one participant remained in the arena, still engaged in combat. The others had already gathered by the four large curtains. 0

"Those who advance, please arrive early tomorrow. We'll set up the match schedule then," the instructor said before providing a few more instructions and then leaving. 0
