Li Yunqing had been watching television in the living room for a few hours when Sera and Lilu Lu finally woke up just before noon. Although they weren't physically tired, they felt mentally exhausted. After resting for the morning, they felt much better. As soon as they emerged, they spotted Li Yunqing in the living room and rushed over to hug him.
"We missed you!" Sera and Lilu Lu exclaimed, nuzzling their faces against his head.
Li Yunqing gently patted their backs. "Alright, let’s eat first. It’s almost one o'clock."
"Mm-hmm!" Sera and Lilu Lu nodded with smiles, eagerly taking their seats at the dining table.
With a wave of his hand, a feast appeared on the table. "Dig in! You both were busy all night and didn’t eat breakfast; you must be hungry."
"Mm-hmm! This food is so delicious! We have some convenient snacks in our rings, which taste alright, but nothing compares to this!"
Sera and Lilu Lu each grabbed a large pork knuckle, enjoying the collagen-rich dish. Li Yunqing watched them eat with delight but only took a few bites himself, content to observe their enjoyment.
Before long, the table was cleared of food. Sera and Lilu Lu rubbed their slightly round bellies and leaned back in their chairs to rest.
Li Yunqing collected the plates and with a simple cleaning spell, each plate was returned spotless to his special ring for dishes. Noticing how uncomfortable the wooden chairs were for the two girls, he lifted them gently and placed them on the sofa instead.
He also handed each of them a glass of lemonade to help with digestion. With nothing pressing to do on this sunny afternoon, the three cuddled together on the sofa to watch television.
As Sera and Lilu Lu's stomachs settled down, Li Yunqing pulled out two wooden boxes from nearby.
"What’s inside those?" Sera asked curiously, eyeing the boxes.
"Let’s find out," Li Yunqing replied with a smile.
The statue.
The statue?
Sera and Lilu Lu pondered for a moment, unsure of what Li Yunqing intended to do with the statue. Li Yunqing removed the wooden top from the box and opened the lid. Inside was a statue of a woman. Sera and Lilu Lu exchanged glances, seemingly understanding something, but they shook their heads and said nothing.
Li Yunqing took the statue out of the box and set it upright. Upon closer inspection, it was a statue of a girl dressed in a bunny outfit. He then opened another box, retrieving another statue that was slightly shorter in stature.
He glanced at Sera and Lilu Lu, noticing that they were entranced by the statues, huddled together with a hint of unease. When Sera and Lilu Lu saw Li Yunqing looking at them, they nodded slightly without saying much.
Li Yunqing rubbed his nose and took out two enhanced Mouse Charms, placing one on each statue. He aimed his phone at the statues, ready to capture the moment.
As soon as the Mouse Charms touched the statues, they sank into the figures. A wave of green light began to rise from the base of the statues, transforming them into real human forms as it moved upward. The light reached their heads and then vanished, revealing two real girls where the statues once stood.
Li Yunqing stepped back and sat between Sera and Lilu Lu. They both clung to his arms, curiously watching this transformation unfold. Although they had seen it before, they were still somewhat astonished.
The two beautiful girls who had just become human took a moment to process their surroundings. After two or three seconds, they blinked their eyes and began to move their hands. They looked around carefully before examining their own bodies, finally turning their attention to Li Yunqing and the others sitting in front of them.
At that moment, Sera and Lilu Lu left the sofa and approached the two girls, reaching out to touch them.
