"This place is really strange!" Fei Bao paused at the edge of the swamp, flapping his wings to hover in the air. He looked down at the marsh below, and although he knew he wouldn't get stuck, he still hesitated to fly directly over it. 0

"Yeah, it feels very eerie here," Xiao Zhuzi said, glancing at the swamp with a hint of fear in her heart. She recalled what Old Curator had said and warned, "We need to be careful. Remember what Librarian said? We should go around it and definitely not get trapped." 0

Thus, they began to cautiously walk along the edge of the swamp. The mist rose from the water, and occasionally bubbles of mud would surface with a gurgling sound, as if something beneath was breathing. They weren't sure how long they had been walking, but all three felt they had gone quite far, and the ground seemed to be less soft and muddy than before. Xiao Zhuzi tentatively stepped onto the edge of the swamp and found that the soil beneath her feet was no longer as muddy; it had become somewhat firm. She turned to Fei Bao and Xi Xi and said, "It seems okay now." 0

Xi Xi probed with his antennae into the swamp's interior and cautiously replied, "It's still better to be careful; Gloomy Marsh has a bad reputation." 0

"I'll give it a try!" Fei Bao volunteered. He picked up a small twig from the ground, flew to the center of the swamp, poked at the surface with the twig, and declared, "It's fine now! The ground is even a bit hard. Besides, we've already gone this far; don't worry!" 0

Xiao Zhuzi and Xi Xi exchanged glances. Although they had some doubts, they decided to trust Fei Bao's words and began to carefully cross what appeared to be a calm marsh. 0

However, after only a few steps, Xiao Zhuzi suddenly let out a terrified scream: "Ah!" 0

Fei Bao and Xi Xi turned at the sound to see that the ground, which had seemed solid moments ago, suddenly became jelly-like and appeared to writhe as if alive. Xiao Zhuzi's foot was already sinking into it! 0

"Help!" Xiao Zhuzi cried out in panic as she struggled to break free but found she couldn't muster any strength. 0

Xi Xi quickly extended his antennae in an attempt to pull Xiao Zhuzi out, but the suction from Gloomy Marsh was too strong; even he began to sink. Their bodies were soon ensnared by the thick sludge, and the more they struggled, the deeper they sank. 0

Fei Bao was stunned; he hadn't expected that this seemingly safe ground concealed such a great danger. But quickly regaining his composure, he rushed to Xiao Zhuzi and Xi Xi's side in an effort to pull them out. 0

"Don't move! Use Grass Rope!" Xiao Zhuzi shouted with a trembling voice. 0

Fei Bao swiftly retrieved Grass Rope from Xi Xi's backpack that was still above ground. He tied it around Xiao Zhuzi's and Xi Xi's wrists and then pulled with all his might towards the opposite bank while shouting encouragingly at his friends: "Don't panic! Relax your bodies! I will definitely get you out!" 0

Fei Bao flapped his wings vigorously against the air, but the marsh's suction was too powerful; his strength alone wasn't enough. 0

Xiao Zhuzi took a deep breath and tried to calm herself down before calling out to Fei Bao: "Fei Bao! Fly over to that sturdy-looking little tree over there and tie Grass Rope around it!" 0

Fei Bao immediately understood Xiao Zhuzi's intention. He quickly flew with Grass Rope to the little tree, wrapped it tightly around its trunk several times, and secured it with a knot. This way, Xiao Zhuzi and Xi Xi were stabilized and wouldn't sink further. Then Fei Bao flew back to grab the middle of Grass Rope and continued pulling with all his strength. With each segment he pulled out, he wrapped it around the tree trunk again until he finally managed to pull Xiao Zhuzi and Xi Xi out of the marsh bit by bit. 0

Covered in mud, Xiao Zhuzi and Xi Xi lay gasping for air at the edge of the swamp. All three looked quite disheveled; their emotions were hard to describe at that moment. They held onto each other tightly, sharing in their shock and relief from escaping death’s door. Nevertheless, they had successfully crossed Gloomy Marsh without any serious mishaps. 0

After this thrilling adventure, Xiao Zhuzi, Xi Xi, and Fei Bao became more cautious. Following Honeybee Librarian’s information, they continued heading southward. However, there were no further clues about the specific location of the temple; they could only rely on their observations and instincts. 0

As they journeyed on, the three friends carefully observed their surroundings for any signs of Spider Silk that might provide clues. Unbeknownst to them, as the sun dipped lower in the sky, vibrant hues of sunset painted across the horizon turned the entire forest into a golden hue. They arrived deep within a dense thicket where ancient trees towered above them with vines entwined around their trunks. The dappled sunlight cast mysterious shadows on the bark of these trees. 0

At the edge of this thicket stood an ancient tree tightly surrounded by lush vines. Its branches twisted into a very peculiar shape with two hollows in its trunk that looked like a pair of owl eyes from afar! 0

"Look at that tree! It’s so strange!" Xiao Zhuzi exclaimed as she circled around it several times before changing her angle of view. Excitedly she shouted, "Xi Xi! Fei Bao! This tree looks just like an owl! It’s exactly like the owl in that painting!" 0

Hearing Xiao Zhuzi’s call, Xi Xi and Fei Bao hurried over; they too were captivated by this peculiar tree before them. "It’s truly amazing!" exclaimed Xi Xi. "How did this tree grow like this? Could it be…" 0

"This must be the entrance to Owl Temple!" Fei Bao said excitedly. 0

The three worked together diligently to clear away the vines and weeds entangled around the old tree until finally revealing a deep opening at its roots. At the edge of this opening lay a large stone covered in vines as well. Xiao Zhuzi carefully pushed aside these vines only to discover that strange symbols and patterns were carved into this stone! 0

"This is it!" Xiao Zhuzi exclaimed excitedly. 0

The three little friends exchanged glances and turned their eyes toward the deep cave entrance. A cool breeze wafted from within, and they could feel a current of air flowing, as if it led to another unknown world. 0
