They were completely awestruck by the grandeur of the building, unable to regain their composure for a long time. Suddenly, a Honeyed Words Bee flew out from the Beehive Library and gracefully landed at the entrance. She gently pressed a button in front of the door, and then the doors of the Beehive Library slowly began to close. Seeing this, Xiao Zhuzi hurriedly stepped forward and asked, "Wait! Wait! We want to go into the Beehive Library to look up some information. Are you the administrator here?" 0

The Honeyed Words Bee looked at Xiao Zhuzi in surprise, then glanced at Xi Xi and Fei Bao who were following behind. After a moment, she replied, "You must be from outside, right? I am indeed one of the administrators of the Beehive Library, but it’s already closed for today. Please come back tomorrow." With that, she turned to leave. 0

Impatient Fei Bao rushed forward to block the Honeyed Words Bee, anxiously saying, "No, no! We have urgent matters! We must get in today!" 0

"That’s not possible. The Beehive Library has strict opening hours and there are never any exceptions. Once this door is closed, I don’t have the authority to open it; only the Librarian can do that. You’ll just have to wait until tomorrow," the Honeyed Words Bee Administrator said with a troubled shake of her head. Then she smiled and added, "But you won’t be bored waiting; tonight there’s a performance by the Insect Circus! They rarely pass by Baihua Island, and it’s been ages since I last saw them perform." 0

Fei Bao's eyes lit up. "The Insect Circus? I’ve heard my grandfather talk about it but have never seen it!" This playful Little Dragonfly had completely forgotten about looking up information and was now pulling Xiao Zhuzi and Xi Xi along, saying, "Let’s go! Let’s go see!" 0

Xiao Zhuzi wasn’t in the mood for that; she was genuinely anxious to find out where Lonely Cloud Peak was. She had been away from home for so long that her parents must be worried sick! 0

Seeing Xiao Zhuzi like this, Xi Xi wrapped her arm around her shoulder and gently patted her in comfort. "Xiao Zhuzi, I know you’re really anxious right now, but there’s no way to get into the library at this moment. Since we have to wait all night anyway, it’s no use sitting here worrying. Why not relax a bit and go see the Insect Circus together? Come on!" 0

Xiao Zhuzi knew Xi Xi was right. With some reluctance, she glanced back at the Beehive Library before helplessly following the Honeyed Words Bee Administrator toward the performance venue of the Insect Circus—Starlight Flower Square. Fei Bao was excited all along the way; he eagerly listened as the Honeyed Words Bee Administrator talked about the amazing acts of the Insect Circus while flitting around impatiently. If he weren’t lost, he probably would have sped ahead straight to Starlight Flower Square. 0

By now, Starlight Flower Square was bustling with activity. At its center stood a massive circular tent adorned with various insect patterns; its towering spire was decorated with colorful flags and streamers. Outside the tent were many stalls selling snacks and souvenirs, with vendors dressed in bright clothing enthusiastically beckoning customers. Upon entering the tent, they found themselves surrounded by a throng of insects buzzing in excitement. At the center of the venue was a circular stage decorated with vibrant banners and ribbons, surrounded by rows of seating made from branches and hay. 0

After some effort, Xiao Zhuzi, Fei Bao, and Xi Xi finally found three seats next to each other. Once seated, they curiously observed this enormous circular tent. When Xiao Zhuzi first entered, she thought it was quite bright; now upon closer inspection, she realized that the Insect Circus's performance tent used Bioluminescent Fungi and fluorescent minerals as light sources, creating a particularly dreamy atmosphere. On one side of the venue, performers from the circus were making their final preparations. In the audience area, various Chong Chong spectators were already seated, excitedly whispering to each other about the upcoming show. Xiao Zhuzi was also swept up in the atmosphere and began to look forward to the spectacular performances ahead. 0

As cheerful music began to play, the show officially commenced. The opening act featured aerial performances by Crystal Dragonflies. These tiny Dragonflies had a transparent crystal-like appearance with broad and delicate wings and long slender legs. They gracefully soared through the air; each high flight and dive elicited cheers and applause from the audience. 0

Next came an impressive display by Ant Circus performers who showcased incredible balance and strength. There was also a flamboyantly dressed Butterfly Magician whose wings fluttered as he conjured vibrant flowers from thin air and even pulled out a long colorful ribbon from an empty hat. Xiao Zhuzi, Fei Bao, and Xi Xi watched in rapt attention, utterly amazed. 0

Just when Xiao Zhuzi thought that the most exciting part had ended, a Clown Beetle wearing oversized shoes and a comical costume took to the stage. His shell was painted in a kaleidoscope of colors that shimmered under the lights as he began his act with cheerful music playing in the background. The Clown Beetle attempted to walk on a taut rope with exaggerated caution as if he might fall at any moment. Xiao Zhuzi and her friends held their breath nervously; every time he wobbled but miraculously regained his balance brought forth bursts of applause and laughter from the audience. 0

Then came his act on a unicycle where he performed various tricks—balancing upside down one moment and jumping around another while frequently making silly faces at spectators that sent everyone into fits of laughter. Finally, he pulled out a bunch of colorful balls from behind him and began juggling them skillfully between his nimble front legs and hind legs as if they were alive; they soared higher and spun faster with each throw. Suddenly one ball fell; feigning panic, he searched around exaggeratedly while his comical expressions and antics had Xiao Zhuzi and everyone else laughing until their stomachs hurt. 0

After the circus performance concluded with music from Bug Band—a group composed of Grasshopper violinists, Bee organists, and Cricket trumpeters—it was getting late. Xiao Zhuzi, Xi Xi, and Fei Bao squeezed out of the dome tent planning to rest nearby for the night. 0

Before them lay a sea of Starflowers shimmering under moonlight; each petal glowed softly like stars fallen to earth mingling beautifully with those twinkling in the night sky above. They lay together amidst Starflowers listening to music drifting from nearby tents while fragrant scents wafted around them. Xiao Zhuzi felt an overwhelming sense of tranquility wash over her as all her daytime anxieties faded away into oblivion. Slowly closing her eyes beneath this starry sky, she drifted off into slumber. 0
