After a few seconds of being stunned, Xiao Zhuzi seemed to suddenly snap back to reality and began to look around. To her astonishment, the tall and strange trees that had loomed over her were actually just blades of grass! The colorful clouds she had thought she saw were, in fact, vibrant flowers! 0

What should she do? She had really shrunk! She was as small as a bug! What could she possibly do now? Xiao Zhuzi's heart was filled with fear and helplessness. She had no idea why she had suddenly become so small or how she could return to her original size. 0

"Waaah... I want to go home... I want to find Mom and Dad! I still need to go back... to eat... eat my birthday feast!" The more she thought about it, the more frightened she became, and tears streamed down her face like a flood breaking through a dam, her cries growing louder. As she sobbed, she silently prayed that this was all just a nightmare and that when she woke up, she would be back in her warm home, celebrating her birthday with her parents. 0

"Hey! Hey! Don't cry, please! I don't know why you suddenly shrank, and... I don't know how to help you get back to normal..." The Snail Village Chief appeared somewhat flustered as he stammered. 0

"Waaah waaah waaah!" Xiao Zhuzi cried even louder. 0

The Snail Village Chief anxiously paced in circles, beads of sweat forming on his forehead. Just then, it seemed he suddenly remembered something; his eyes brightened, and his voice involuntarily rose by an octave. "Aha! I remember! Dragonfly Elder! He... he is the wisest in our Bug World! He knows everything! He must know how to help you!" 0

Hearing the Snail Village Chief's words, Xiao Zhuzi's cries gradually subsided. She looked up at him, sniffling as she asked, "Really... really? But... but where is this Dragonfly Elder? How can I find him?" 0

The Snail Village Chief took a couple of steps closer, looking gently at Xiao Zhuzi. He spoke softly, "Dragonfly Elder lives in Xian Cao Garden. Don't worry; even though I don't know what's happening, your shrinking is related to me as well. I won't stand by idly. Rest assured, I'm willing to help you find Dragonfly Elder. I'm sure he will have a way to help you return to your original self." 0

Upon hearing the Snail Village Chief's words, a glimmer of hope ignited in Xiao Zhuzi's previously despondent heart. She wiped her tears away and slowly stood up. Turning to the kind Snail Village Chief, she said, "Wise Snail Village Chief, thank you! When shall we set off to find Dragonfly Elder? Oh, by the way, my name is Xiao Zhuzi." She suddenly remembered that she hadn't introduced herself yet and hurriedly added that. 0

The Snail Village Chief smiled warmly in response. "Hehe, Xiao Zhuzi is such a lovely name! Good child, don't be anxious. We Giant Snails are nocturnal creatures, and traveling at night is safer for us. The Xian Cao Garden is quite far from here; it will take us about two to three days of walking. So we must prepare thoroughly. How about this: come with me to Snail Village for a rest first? Once it gets dark, we can pack everything up and set off. What do you think?" 0

Just thinking about how worried her parents would be if they couldn't find her made Xiao Zhuzi feel like there were hundreds of ants gnawing at her heart; it was unbearable. However, she also understood that what the Snail Village Chief said made sense—this situation couldn't be resolved by simply rushing into it. With that thought in mind, she forced a smile and nodded. "Okay, Wise Snail Village Chief. I believe you're a good person; I'll listen to you!" As she spoke, Xiao Zhuzi took a step forward but realized that due to her nervousness and panic, her legs felt weak and almost gave way beneath her. 0

Seeing this, the Snail Village Chief quickly said, "Slow down, slow down! Child, you've just gone through something so terrifying; it's normal for your legs to feel weak. How about this: climb onto my back; I'll carry you." 0

Xiao Zhuzi felt embarrassed at the thought of being carried by the Snail Village Chief and murmured softly, "No need... no need for that, Wise Snail Village Chief... I can walk by myself." 0

"It's alright," the Snail Village Chief reassured her quickly. "You seem very light; it's no problem for me at all. Come on up so we can get back to the village quickly and rest up for our journey." 0

Hearing this from the Snail Village Chief made Xiao Zhuzi slowly nod her head. Cautiously climbing onto his sturdy shell while gripping tightly with both hands, she settled herself in place. The Snail Village Chief then began to move slowly into the depths of Grass Leaf Forest. 0

As Xiao Zhuzi lay on the Snail Village Chief's back, the fright from earlier gradually transformed into fatigue. With each gentle rise and fall of his movements as he crawled along, an overwhelming drowsiness washed over her. Just when she was about to drift off to sleep, the gentle voice of the Snail Village Chief reached her ears: "Xiao Zhuzi, get ready to come down; we've arrived." 0
