Although Ya Zai has advanced, his combat power is still lower than Xiao Hei's, which is a drawback brought about by his race's potential.
The Blazing Tiger race, while possessing leader-level potential, is limited by its Secondary Species status, making it less powerful than the indigenous species beasts.
Moreover, Shen Ling, being an extremely rare beast with dark attribute affinity, has already had its other abilities elevated to an exaggerated level. Thus, it is normal for Ya Zai to lag behind for the time being.
However, Shen Ling has a plan to help Ya Zai evolve.
