That day, they were practicing martial arts in the yard when suddenly, there was a loud "bang" as someone knocked heavily on the front gate.
The group had come again.
Everyone turned around as the gate crashed down, falling flat on the ground and kicking up a cloud of dust.
Someone at the entrance laughed loudly, "Hahaha, you've come three times already, and today we've finally caught you."
Taking advantage of the dust still lingering in the air, Liu Mei and Ling Yunhan instinctively turned to run.
But then they suddenly remembered that there were still over twenty children standing in the yard. Could they take them all with them?
Liu Mei looked at the children's expressions and felt a bit helpless. She sighed, turned back, and put on a smile as she cupped her hands together and said to the person, "Mr. Liao."
Mr. Liao stood tall with his chest out, nostrils flared in arrogance as he replied, "Well said! I specifically came here today to spar with the Master of the Pavilion."
Liu Mei could only force a smile while greeting him, her expression awkward.
At that moment, Ling Yunhan leaned closer to Liu Mei's ear and whispered, "You can hide for a moment, but you can't hide forever! Since that's the case, just agree to him. I really can't run anymore."
Liu Mei glanced at him and suddenly had an idea. She immediately changed her attitude, adopting a gentle, considerate demeanor like that of a virtuous wife and mother. She nodded in agreement and said to Mr. Liao, "You're right. Since that's the case, let's do it! Today is indeed a good opportunity."
Then she waved her arm, signaling for the children to quickly hide to the side.
Mr. Liao, seeing the situation, was extremely excited. He immediately took off his coat, leaped into the yard, and struck a highly impressive pose.
Ling Yunhan revealed a hint of gloating in his smile, crossed his arms, stepped back, and leisurely leaned against a pillar, ready to watch the show.
Liu Mei smiled as she scanned the children and then nodded in satisfaction, saying, "Well, sending you little ones to face such a minor character is too much of a waste. I'll have your junior brother deal with him."
The children instantly turned to glare at Ling Yunhan in unison.
Ling Yunhan's smile froze suddenly as he realized Liu Mei was referring to him.
His face paled for a moment; he gritted his teeth and wanted to refuse. However, Mr. Liao was already furious, his face flushed red as he charged at Ling Yunhan like a fierce tiger descending the mountain.
Ling Yunhan dodged while shouting, "What should I do?!"
Liu Mei casually replied, "Use the move I taught you."
Ling Yunhan's eyes widened in panic. What had she taught him? He had spent an entire month just running away with her every day.
He nimbly jumped aside and joined the children. Liu Mei cheerfully pointed at the frantically darting Ling Yunhan and said, "Look at how perceptive your junior brother is. He has taken my escape technique to the extreme."
Ling Yunhan felt like a rabbit being chased, desperately fleeing with all his might, agile and quick in his movements.
After running like this for half an hour, Mr. Liao finally couldn't take it anymore. He stopped, bent over, gasping for breath, and asked, "Do you really want to fight me or not?"
Liu Mei couldn't help but let out a big yawn and lazily said, "Alright, I'll go."
As soon as she finished speaking, she rushed forward and executed a beautiful suplex, throwing Mr. Liao to the ground. She quickly twisted his wrist while pressing her knee against his throat.
Mr. Liao's face contorted in pain, and after a while, he managed to squeeze out a sentence: "You guys are so shameless. Attacking me in turns, what kind of skill is that!"
Liu Mei laughed triumphantly, increasing the pressure in her grip, and said, "You haven't even fought with Ling Yunhan yet. We're going one-on-one; how is that shameless? Hurry up and say it, do you admit defeat?"
Mr. Liao begged for mercy repeatedly: "I admit defeat, I admit defeat!"
