Wearing his chef's coat adorned with the emblem of his culinary identity, Xu Li called over his son, who was busy repairing the Cattle Shed. "Contact those at the outpost and let them know that after they finish their meals today and tomorrow, they should stay in the village for dinner." 0

"Got it," Aleksei nodded, pulling out his phone to make the calls. Xu Li then stepped into the kitchen, where the women were bustling about. "Everyone, grab a bite to eat first; we have quite a bit of work today." 0

Daria was peeling potatoes when she suggested, "There are plenty of kids outside. Why don't you fry some fries for them to snack on first?" 0

Xu Li agreed, "And let's boil some corn too; we still have a few hours until mealtime." 0

Before long, Valery and the others brought in the processed beef and sheep along with a Moose, hanging them on the iron rack as they pushed them into the dining hall. A few men rushed forward to help unload the meat onto the round table. 0

Creaking sounds echoed as a large truck parked in the open space outside the dining hall. The waiting men quickly approached to assist with unloading. Zhukov drove a small cart carrying several boxes of frozen goods to the kitchen entrance. "Uncle, what should we do with these frozen items?" 0

Xu Li stepped forward to inspect the boxes. Opening the top one revealed six hard little pigs inside. "Thaw these out and hand them over to your mother and the others for careful cleaning in cold water. Also, check if the fire in the roasting pit is ready." 0

"Okay!" Zhukov took the frozen goods elsewhere while boxes of spices and seasonings were moved into a corner of the kitchen. He rummaged through and pulled out a large bag of plum powder and cheese powder, announcing as he juggled a stainless steel bowl, "Fries are ready! Kids, sit tight outside!" 0

Two women cleaning tables and benches shouted at the dining hall entrance, causing a rush of children to pour in. Behind them trailed a mix of Little Ones, all grinning widely as they followed along. 0

Once the children settled around several round tables, Daria and her team placed plates of mixed fries in front of them, followed by servings of freshly fried Moose meat strips. They poured hot milk tea for each child, who eagerly dug in with messy faces and wiggling legs. 0

After they finished eating and playing energetically, the busy men and women took a moment to enjoy some corn and sip on milk tea before returning to their tasks. 0

At the door of what used to be a small storage room, a line formed as Little Ones eagerly awaited their turn. Each received two boxes of fairy crackers along with several packs of small firecrackers. The older kids claimed three loud firecrackers and sparklers, lighting them up with excitement. 0

As familiar popping sounds filled the air, several Caucasians hid their bowls beneath themselves, their big eyes scanning cautiously around. When Lafu announced that everyone from the village was coming over, they kept a watchful eye on this troublemaker to prevent him from stealing their bowls again. 0

Lafu untied his saddle and reins before ushering Huang Biao Ma into the stable, making sure it was secure. He shoveled some hay for it and sprinkled a bit of salt before lighting up a small cigarette as he exited the stable. 0

Noticing Zhukov and a few friends huddled together talking quietly, he approached them curiously. "What are you guys chatting about?" 0

Zhukov skillfully reached into his pocket to pull out his cigarette pack for inspection before shrugging and returning it. "Where's Tian Xing? I saw the village chief give you a pack earlier." 0

"My dad took it," Lafu sighed. The group collectively sighed in unison; while their fathers were generally good-natured, they had a habit of swiping their cigarettes. The village chief often gifted good cigarettes like Su or Yuxi to older folks but reserved only lesser brands for them. Over time, even elders recognized quality differences and frequently searched their pockets. 0

"What are you guys talking about?" 0

Zhukov nodded towards the dog cage in the distance. "Those big guys have gotten smart; they’ve hidden the dog bowls really well. We have firecrackers but nothing to blow up. We need to figure something out." 0

Kolechkin, with a mischievous glint in his eyes, said, "When I was moving stuff at the Village Chief's House warehouse at noon, I found a few dirty stainless steel bowls on the shelves. How about we borrow them?" 0

The group of mischievous boys exchanged glances and then scampered off towards the village. 0
