"What are you talking about?" 0

Ivan shot him a glare, then pulled out a folder and opened the marriage certificate inside. "From now on, you’re my brother-in-law. We’re all family here, and no one will bully you. Just take good care of my sister and my parents." 0

"I’m not—I'm from Huaxia." 0

Xu Li stared at the opened marriage certificate, his eyes nearly popping out. The girl in the photo was stunning, so beautiful she looked unreal, with a bright, innocent smile like a ray of warm sunshine. But the more he looked at his own photo, the less he felt it resembled him. "When did I get married to your sister?" 0

"Just yesterday morning. I tried to wake you up, but since you didn’t respond, I took it as your consent." 0

Just as Ivan was about to put the folder back into the bag before Xu Li’s right hand could touch the marriage certificate, he handed it over to a plump woman beside an old man. "Mom, he—" 0

"Hey, do you even know our names? I forgot." 0

Xu Li pouted and turned his head aside. Suddenly, a burly man slapped him on the back of the head with enough force to make him stagger. "My brother is asking you a question." 0

Xu Li rubbed his head and muttered something under his breath, which made Ivan laugh. "You came up with that name yourself? What’s wrong with ‘Noodle’?" 0

Yuri chimed in, "Why did you hit him so hard?" 0

The plump woman who had been silent until now pulled Xu Li closer and examined his face closely. "Kid, from now on you’ll live here well. Your marriage home has already been tidied up by me and your father." 0

"This grandma—" 0

"Hehe, you should call me Mom Natasha!" 0

The plump woman laughed as she looked at Xu Li, who had thick eyebrows and big eyes with tender skin and a bit of baby fat on his cheeks. He seemed to have lived well before; he was about six feet tall but thin and lanky. This slender figure made the plump woman worry a bit. "Makarov, how old are you?" 0

"I’m eighteen." 0

"That’s good; you’ll still grow taller. Mom will make sure to feed you well, just like your brothers." 0

Natasha chuckled as she pinched Xu Li’s cheek and then took his hand to introduce him around the yard. "This is your Uncle Yurian, this is your Uncle Pushkin..." 0

The boy's eyes darted around; he probably wouldn’t stay calm here for long. 0

Old Andrei watched Xu Li's retreating figure while Ivan laughed beside him. "We’re closest to Bratsk; it takes just over an hour by car. He doesn’t know anyone in the nearby villages—where could he run off to? This kid seems a bit timid; if you and the uncles scare him a little, I bet he’ll think twice about leaving." 0

Ivan lit cigarettes for several uncles nearby. "If it weren’t for Anna and Eva not being too bright, would this skinny kid even be here? Once he meets my two angelic sisters, he might not want to leave at all." 0

While they chatted, Natasha led Xu Li into the house. The space wasn’t small, but the furniture was somewhat old-fashioned. The living room was tidy, with a large table filled with candies and cookies. 0

"Are you hungry? Mom prepared some freshly baked Lava for you." 0

Natasha let Xu Li sit at the table while she entered the kitchen. She sliced a few pieces of bread and smoked sausage, then served a bowl of Borscht in front of Xu Li. "Eat up, dear. If you want more, just let me know." 0

"Thank you," he replied. 0

Although it felt a bit strange for the plump woman to call herself "Mama," her polite demeanor put him at ease. At least he wouldn't be getting beaten. He dug into the bread and sausage with gusto, while Natasha sat nearby, watching him with a cheerful smile. 0
