Just as I was about to delve deeper into my search, my phone suddenly popped up a message: Your account has been logged out. 0

What the...? I tried to log back in, but it said the password was incorrect. 0

What’s going on? 0

"Madam, what are you busy with?" 0

Aunt Zhou appeared at the door, smiling at me. 0

I quickly locked my screen. "Nothing, just browsing Weibo." 0

"Is that so?" She shook her phone. "The sir just sent a message saying your phone might be infected and asked me to help you reset your password." 0

I: ??? This script doesn’t add up! 0

"Aunt Zhou, how do you have my husband’s password?" 0

I stared intently at her phone screen. 0

"Oh dear, I've been taking care of the sir for so many years; of course, I need to stay in touch," she said confidently. "Besides, Miss An specifically instructed me before she left..." 0

I suddenly stood up. "Aunt Zhou, do you know Miss An very well?" 0

Her expression changed, and she turned to leave. 0

I blocked her path. "Is there something of Miss An's in that locked box? What is your relationship with her?" 0

"Madam, are you questioning me?" Aunt Zhou sneered. "Do you really think, given your current status, that you deserve to know these things?" 0

Wow, she’s really flipping the table here! 0

I pulled out my phone. "Then I’ll just call Song Ming and get to the bottom of this!" 0

"Go ahead," Aunt Zhou said with an air of confidence. "But the sir is currently in an important meeting; if he gets disturbed over something trivial like this..." 0

I gritted my teeth and said, "Aunt Zhou, are you threatening me?" 0
"I'm just reminding you," she replied with an inscrutable smile. 0
"Madam, in this house, there are some things you’d be better off not knowing too well. After all..." 0
She leaned closer to my ear and whispered, "You are not like Miss An; you are merely a substitute." 0
Her words struck me like a heavy blow to the heart. 0

I watched Aunt Zhou walk out of the room with a triumphant air, suddenly realizing something: 0
This was no mere housekeeper; she was clearly a ticking time bomb! 0
A substitute? How interesting. 0
I opened my laptop and searched for "Song Ming Miss An." 0
To my shock, I found a news article from three years ago: "The engagement party of the young heir of the Song Group turns into a memorial service after his fiancée dies unexpectedly." 0
The accompanying photo featured a woman who looked strikingly similar to me! 0

I trembled as I clicked on the article: 0
Anwen, twenty-five years old, attending physician at a well-known hospital, fell to her death while on duty on the day of her engagement. 0
A doctor? 0
Suddenly, I recalled the "medicine" that Song Ming took every day. 0
Just as I was about to continue my search, I heard the sound of a door opening downstairs. 0
I quickly closed the webpage and saw that Song Ming had unexpectedly returned early. 0
"Honey, why are you back so soon today?" 0
"Mr. Song, your lunch medication!" Aunt Zhou rushed out at lightning speed, cutting off my words. 0
I watched coldly: here we go again. 0
Sure enough, Song Ming obediently took his medicine while Aunt Zhou stood by, watching intently. 0

The scene felt increasingly eerie. 0
"By the way, sir, Aunt Zhou took the medicine box," she said. "The madam has been investigating Miss An all day." 0
What the hell? Is she really going to report this? 0
Song Ming's expression darkened. "Did we not agree not to mention this?" 0
"But the madam insisted on digging into it," Aunt Zhou added, embellishing her words. "She even sneaked into my room, trying to pry open my suitcase." 0
Goodness, is she trying to put me in a dead end? 0
"Honey, I was just curious..." I explained. 0
"Enough!" Song Ming suddenly exploded in anger. "This matter is not to be mentioned again! Aunt Zhou, you can leave now." 0
After Aunt Zhou left, I confronted him directly. "So Anwen is your ex-fiancée? The one who had an accident on your engagement day?" 0
Song Ming's face turned pale. "What have you found out?" 0
"I found out she's a doctor, that she fell from a building, and also..." I stepped closer to him, "that she looks just like me." 0
"Stop investigating," he said wearily, rubbing his temples. "Some things are better left unknown." 0
"Oh, so I'm just a stand-in?" 0
I sneered. "You married me just because I resemble her?" 0
Song Ming fell silent. 0
This silence was more lethal than a thousand words. 0
I turned to leave, but he suddenly grabbed my wrist. "Please, stop looking into it." 0
His tone was off; I turned back to meet his eyes filled with fear. 0
Isn't he supposed to be angry? Why does he look scared? 0
