"His methods will soon be revealed," Jiang Chen said lightly.
Liu Toukang nodded, sensing Jiang Chen's nonchalance, and felt a bit anxious inside.
Twenty minutes later, the cruise ship set sail for Black Dragon Island, which was only eighty nautical miles from Hong Kong Island Pier, and would take just over an hour to reach.
Jiang Chen and Ding Yan leaned against the ship's railing, enjoying the scenery. Lin Rumei was also on board and approached Jiang Chen to greet him.
"What a coincidence today! I didn't expect to run into you here. Kid, we can settle our accounts today," a voice suddenly rang out. A middle-aged man in martial arts attire appeared before Jiang Chen, sneering.
This man was none other than Master Wu, accompanied by Zhao Hun and Ding Yan's biological father, Ding Shaowen.
Since that night when Ding Yan appeared, Zhao Hun had felt like he had been cuckolded by Ding Shaowen, and their relationship had soured. However, today they stood united against Jiang Chen, channeling all their resentment towards him, believing that everything stemmed from his actions.
Jiang Chen glanced at the sudden arrivals and chuckled lightly. "Aren't you still sore from last time?"
"Kid, don't be arrogant; my master is here today," Master Wu declared proudly.
"I already told you last time that Master Wu's master is not someone to be trifled with. Don't think just because you know some skills that you can look down on us," Zhao Hun sneered, feeling emboldened by the presence of Elder Liang.
Ding Shaowen remained silent but stared coldly at Jiang Chen and Ding Yan.
Ding Yan glared back at him, her expression darkening. "Do you enjoy looking for trouble? Get lost!" she shouted, feeling irritated at the sight of Ding Shaowen and Zhao Hun.
"This occasion does not allow for your insolence. Master Wu, please bring Elder Liang here," Zhao Hun said with a sinister smile.
"My master is chatting with Master Jia right now, but I can assure you that even if this kid had a hundred lives, he wouldn't dare make a move here," Master Wu scoffed.
"Is that so?" Jiang Chen found it amusing that Master Wu would come looking for trouble after being taught a lesson once.
"If you dare to make a move here, it would mean disrespecting Master Jia. Offending him is far worse than offending me," Master Wu said with a cold smirk.
"Don't worry; since your master is here, there's no need for me to teach you a lesson myself," Jiang Chen replied with a playful smile.
"What do you mean by that?" Master Wu's expression darkened.
"When your master arrives, you'll understand. Now please step aside; I want to enjoy the view," Jiang Chen gestured for Master Wu and the others to move away.
Master Wu frowned. Seeing Jiang Chen so calm made him uneasy; after all, he wasn't Jiang Chen's match. Before his master arrived, he dared not push further and had no choice but to step aside.
Jiang Chen continued taking pictures of his mother while those around them watched in surprise. Many recognized Master Wu as a disciple of Elder Liang with formidable skills, yet he seemed so timid in front of Jiang Chen—an unexpected sight indeed.
The Liu Family and the Guo Family were also watching from nearby.
Liu Toukang said to his mother, Han Baiying, "Mom, weren't you curious about who is stronger between Elder Liang and Mr. Jiang? We might find out soon."
"Mr. Jiang certainly has quite a few enemies," Han Baiying chuckled.
