He waited quietly outside for the results of the experiment. After a while, Professor Yang approached with his team, their expressions serious as they prepared to begin the Tian Experiment. Yacos noticed the laboratory door closing and was taken aback. Suddenly realizing, he exclaimed, "Young man, do you have a new idea?"
Chen Xuan shrugged nonchalantly. "I just made another data adjustment. If all goes well, we might very well break through the existing data!"
"Really?" Professor Yang's murky eyes brightened with surprise.
"About a ninety percent chance," Chen Xuan replied modestly with a smile.
"Brother Chen, that's amazing!"
"Impressive!"
"Wow! Chen's abilities are far superior to Professor Yacos!"
"Brother Chen is the real professor! Hahaha!"
The team members erupted in excitement at the prospect of Chen Xuan's breakthrough in the existing data. Yacos, however, stared wide-eyed in disbelief at this exceptionally talented young man. He couldn't help but think, "God! Chen, you are truly remarkable! More outstanding than any student I've ever seen! Someone like you should be studying abroad!"
Chen Xuan smiled, a flicker of something unusual in his eyes, but he said nothing.
As time drew near, everyone held their breath in anticipation, looking expectantly at Chen Xuan. The upcoming experimental results were crucial; they were tied to their scientific careers, and each one of them felt the weight of nervousness. Even Professor Yang and Professor Yacos instinctively adopted solemn expressions.
Chen Xuan smiled faintly and slowly walked toward the entrance of Laboratory Ten.
"Wait a moment!"
At that moment, a voice rang out from behind.
Chen Xuan turned around in surprise to see a group of well-dressed professionals, led by a manager, escorting a vibrant woman toward him.
Chen Xuan raised an eyebrow in astonishment. Was it her?
The group quickly approached, and the manager hurriedly began the introduction. "Everyone, let me introduce you to this lady. She is Ms. Xiao Jiao Jiao, the Vice President of Xiangnong Group and the actual head of the project."
Applause erupted from the crowd in welcome.
With a smile on her face, Xiao Jiao Jiao briefly introduced herself before stepping forward to shake hands with everyone.
When it came to Chen Xuan, the manager quickly introduced him as well. Upon hearing that Chen Xuan was a proud disciple of Professor Yang and had made significant contributions to the project, surpassing Yacos and being a core figure in the initiative, Xiao Jiao Jiao's eyes lit up as she shook hands with him.
Chen Xuan secretly breathed a sigh of relief. Thankfully, she didn't recognize him; otherwise, she would surely hold a grudge for not calling her.
Suddenly, Chen Xuan looked at Xiao Jiao Jiao with an odd expression. Just moments ago, while shaking hands, she had quickly written two words on his palm with her thumb: "Bad Egg!"
Chen Xuan couldn't help but smile wryly; he had been recognized after all. Xiao Jiao Jiao cast a subtle glance at him before greeting others with a smile.
When Professor Yacos appeared before him, both Xiao Jiao Jiao and Yacos were momentarily stunned. Was this what the Huaxia people often referred to as fate? At that moment, Yacos felt as if he could die from embarrassment.
Xiao Jiao Jiao forced a smile that didn’t quite reach her eyes. She chose not to shake hands with Yacos and walked directly toward Chen Xuan. As she walked, she spoke to her secretary in a local dialect, instructing, "Once the project is over, cancel all benefits for this Professor Yacos. Don’t worry; he won’t dare to make a fuss."
"Yes, President Xiao," the secretary replied.
Reaching Chen Xuan, Xiao Jiao Jiao smiled brightly. "Expert Chen, it seems you are about to start the Tian Experiment again. Would you mind if I joined to observe?"
"Of course not," Chen Xuan replied confidently, a calm smile on his face. "I just finished an experiment, and if all goes well, the results will meet the requirements of Xiangnong Group!"
"Oh?" Xiao Jiao Jiao's eyes lit up with excitement, her beautiful gaze sparkling with interest. Her enticing red lips curled into a smile. "Then I’m quite eager to see it."
"Please," Chen Xuan said with a faint smile as he opened the laboratory door, gesturing for Xiao Jiao Jiao to enter first.
Xiao Jiao Jiao walked in briskly.
