Head Brother was in a frenzy. Every Sea Wolf that surfaced was subjected to a quick examination to see if it had any meat from the Sea Red Spot that had been stolen from him. After completing the medical procedure, he would toss the carcass to Hai Li and then cast his line for another catch. Tonight, he was determined to reel in those two Sea Wolves that had dared to rob him of his Sea Red Spot!
The more Sea Wolf corpses he discarded, the more trouble he attracted. Then came the Triangle Flag. Although there was only one, its presence was still imposing; after all, a creature weighing over a thousand pounds could easily be seen with its mouth full of triangular teeth.
"Brother, look! A Tiger Shark! Can we catch it?" Shi Tian nudged the bloodthirsty Head Brother as they spotted the Tiger Shark circling near the boat.
The Tiger Shark wasn't a protected species and was classified as near threatened on the global conservation list, meaning they needed to be cautious in their consumption to ensure sustainable development. After all, aside from those species that were overpopulated and deemed safe, anything above that classification was considered near threatened.
"Don't joke around! We can't catch that one; it might take me down with it!" Head Brother peered over the side at the circling Tiger Shark and decisively shook his head, retreating. The rage in his eyes dissipated as he feared provoking this massive creature.
"Are you kidding? That's a Tiger Shark! Its attack power rivals that of larger sharks!"
Just look at its size; this was a fully grown Tiger Shark, nearly four meters long. Even if it didn't weigh a ton, it certainly exceeded a thousand pounds.
How big of a hook would be needed to catch such a beast? Even the largest hooks wouldn't suffice!
Even if they had hooks, they wouldn't have line strong enough for such a large fish. Regular fishing lines were hardly adequate for something this size; even Bluefin Tuna required specialized lines capable of withstanding two kilograms of pull—lines that Shi Tian certainly hadn't prepared.
"What a pity! Just now you all complained about the fish being too small! Now that a big one shows up, you all back down! Let's head into the cabin and retreat!" Shi Tian glanced at the Tiger Shark outside the boat and obediently took a step back, quickly diving into the cabin.
If this creature set its sights on them, it would be trouble! It wasn't even safe on the boat anymore.
They had come out to fish, not to risk their lives. If they couldn't handle it, they should run—better to run fast than lose face!
He might dare challenge a thousand-pound Bluefin Tuna, but when it came to a thousand-pound Tiger Shark, it was best to escape as quickly as possible! This creature had quite the temper!
After tying the boat securely to a post, Shi Tian found himself assigned to the kitchen by Head Brother once again.
Since Head Brother wanted to leave, Shi Tian knew he would definitely return here for fishing in the future. He called a few people onto the boat to introduce them so that next time he came back, it would be easier for him.
"Yan Zai, Chi Zai, let me introduce you; this is my brother Shi Tian—my real brother!"
"This kid just loves fishing and often comes here. If you see him around next time, just call out to him; he's got plenty of good cigarettes and liquor on his boat!" Head Brother said while watching Shi Tian haul out a box of Moutai.
Yan Zai and Chi Zai? Just hearing those codenames made it clear they were given by Head Brother; there were probably others like Flying Fish or Huang Ji on board too!
"Hey there, Brother Yan and Brother Chi! If you come back fishing again, please take care of me!"
"This liquor is part of Head Brother's stock on the boat; remember to take two bottles later!" He placed the liquor down on the floor and greeted both men.
"You're not allowed to bring alcohol on board; just hand it over to me; I'll keep it safe for you!" Hearing about his own stock made Head Brother anxious.
Even though he had already decided to leave, he hadn't confirmed the timing yet!
