Encouraged, Old Zhang and Shi Tian slipped into the Seafood Restaurant. Tonight, Li Ziyu had invited him here to sample the dishes and check if there had been any issues with the menu during his absence.
With a rod in hand, he returned to the shop. There was no rush for the Water Drop Reel; he needed to think of a way to get to Ganjiang quickly! With so many people fishing there, if he didn’t hurry, all the fish would be caught clean!
He grabbed a bottle of red wine from the store and drove to the city to buy a bouquet of red roses, planning to decorate their home.
Late into the night, Aunt Zhang returned from the shop, and Old Zhang immediately stood at the door with the prepared roses in hand.
"Dear, today marks our thirtieth anniversary of knowing each other. You are just as beautiful as you were thirty years ago!" As he presented the roses, turned off the lights, and lit a candle, Old Zhang began to get sentimental.
"Has it really been thirty years? I remember we met in summer! Are you sure you’re not mistaken?" Aunt Zhang took the roses, feeling touched but also sensing something was off.
"You met me in summer; I met you in spring! I remember those three months when I passed by your house every day just to catch a glimpse of you through the window!"
He had hoped to charm her with his sentimentality, but he didn’t expect his wife to be so sensitive. The atmosphere had been set perfectly, yet she still wanted to argue about those few days!
"Is that so? No wonder my dad said our house was being watched by thieves and told me to keep the door locked when I was home! Despite all precautions, it was still you who managed to steal my heart!"
Hearing that Old Zhang had secretly admired her for three months made Aunt Zhang quite pleased; it seemed her youthful charm still had its market value if it could make Old Zhang fall in love at first sight!
After a few glasses of wine, Old Zhang took Aunt Zhang's hand and said, "I haven’t had a chance to take you out for fun lately. While we’re still young, I want to take you out tomorrow."
Going alone to Ganjiang was nearly impossible, but bringing his wife along would be no problem. He could handle a little exhaustion; taking two days off to fish wouldn’t be an issue.
Unfortunately, there wasn’t much to do in Nanchang; the only notable place was Tengwang Pavilion. He planned to use its reputation as an excuse to take his wife around Nanchang, letting her explore the mountains and valleys for a day. That way, she would be too tired to get up the next morning, allowing him to meet up with Shi Chui and others.
Setting up camp by the riverbank, he could fish while his wife cooked. His expectations were simple; if they could enjoy two days together, he would be completely satisfied!
The yacht was completed. As soon as the workshop door opened, an electric trailer slowly pulled it out. This yacht was significantly larger than the Mini Air Force but still half the size of the Air Force.
Measuring twenty-one meters in length and three stories high, it didn’t seem large at Hai Li but appeared massive in their yard.
The lower level contained four rooms: one master suite—of course, Shi Tian claimed that as his own—and three guest rooms with en-suite bathrooms. Each room was larger than those on the Mini Air Force.
If it were just a simple yacht, it might not have so many rooms; some yachts only have one or two cabins. However, this boat was a Fishing Yacht designed with leisure spaces on the lower deck specifically for sea fishing.
The second level featured a deck area where the stern was more than a meter lower than the main deck. There were three fishing spots on each side and three more at the stern—plenty of space for fishing.
Above that was a business salon with a small kitchen. To the right at the front was the control station leading forward to the foredeck—this area wasn’t suitable for fishing since it was too high above water; however, it would be great for sunbathing.
The topmost layer was a hardtop flybridge used for drinking and stargazing. It featured an open-air driving station and two beach chairs that looked inviting for lounging.
The only downside was that this yacht felt slightly small; unlike Air Force which could carry a tender boat, this one lacked that convenience. But that was alright; he could always get an inflatable rubber boat later for island hopping when needed. When he eventually built a larger yacht, he would definitely ensure it came with a tender!
