The blackness was boundless, to the extent that the outline of space itself was a mystery. First, darkness coalesced, and as the field of vision deepened, shapeless light appeared in the deepest darkness, endowing this space with a new concept. The previously unknown lowest level became visible, and the shattered surface of the mountain collapsed onto the underground land. Yet their footsteps did not stop, as the light sought new forms, new spatial bodies that could express mass, filling this black void.
Just like magnetic particles constrained by gravity, the light gradually delineated mass, which was the shattered rocks in the cave. In the eyes of the creatures, it twisted into irregular shapes, and with well-adapted pupils, rendered them blue. Viscous blood splattered on the walls on both sides, seemingly confirming the existence of Time, silently sliding on top. Everything was silently emerging in the darkness, yet the "thud" of a broken limb falling to the ground, like thunder, added sound to this void that already had space, Time, color, and state.
In front of Emperor Ban Sa, in order to maintain his humility, Dompey did not dare to distort the heavy Force Field surrounding him to float in the air; he could only keep his feet firmly planted on the damp, muddy ground. He stepped on something hard and realized it was another stone block with distinct splitting lines. Looking around, the bodies of Stone Giants were scattered everywhere, extending from the edge of a pit in the distance all the way to the end of an underground cave.
"Rest in peace, warriors of Vamulel."
Dompey, like a devout apostle, seemed to be kneading a ball in the air with his hands. His eyes were slightly closed, and he raised his head as if feeling the oppressive aura of death in the darkness.
Once again, a foot stepped on the stone, making a "crack" sound.
"You are very brave, I admit. But ignorant souls, under the rule of Emperor Ban Sa, there is no one who does not submit."
"You Titan Clan are too docile, ha... that's just a minor factor, you know? But it's enough to be deadly. Which civilization in the universe, or even which warrior, is known for their meekness? Helping the Inner Beings guard the Life Crystals... for three million years, still like a bunch of children, doing whatever the adults say~ right?"
Deep within the collapsed stone pile, Gavi's right arm was still exposed, twitching. Dompey merely glanced over; in his eyes, the ancient Titan Clan's Stone Giants were either about to be beheaded or had already been dismembered.
Since being banished from the four-dimensional divine domain, this was the first time the Deicide Emperor had descended to Earth with his confidant, Dompey. In Ban Sa's original plan, he and his entire internal Human expeditionary force had never anticipated that the Life Crystals were hidden by the ancestors of the Inner Beings on what they considered a barbaric star—Earth. If it weren't for the thirty-thousand-year cycle seal of the Life Crystals being broken again, unleashing violent fluctuations detectable across half the universe, Ban Sa might have truly drifted further away from his desired goal with his expeditionary force. In his understanding, the two cosmic crystals were stored in the second Yulou layer and the negative second Yulou layer, and he needed to find a jumping point in the universe to enter four-dimensional spacetime.
Now, everything seemed simpler. On Earth, facing Emperor Ban Sa's "Tear Star" battle axe, even the hardest materials were powerless, like an egg hitting a stone.
“Ah, Titan, you were merely a plaything left behind by the Inner Beings for their amusement. Logically speaking, you should not have any value in terms of existence. To put it simply, what right do you have to represent the First Star Domain or to conceal Life Crystals on behalf of Vamulel? Are you any different from humans who have only just begun to evolve a few centuries ago?”
In the darkness, a pair of blue eyes struggled, constantly flickering with light, appearing as if they could burn out at any moment. Yet, they continued to resist the consuming blackness that sought to engulf them. It seemed that if one listened closely, they could hear the roar of those blue orbs of light.
“Order is what the mortal beings abide by, established by the powerful. Justice often applies to those who remain compliant, while evil is merely a definition thrown out by the weak who cannot attain what the strong possess. Therefore… Life Crystals, you are unworthy. The order of the universe should be determined by its strongest beings, should it not? Why do you fail to understand this? Is it helplessness? I believe humans would also feel indignant because this is the only emotion that the weak can possess.”
Dompey habitually wanted to elevate himself, but upon catching sight of Emperor Ban Sa sitting in the dark corner, tracing the back of a giant axe with his fingers, he feigned calmness and settled down on the ground.
"Any resistance is a futile struggle. As the saying goes, those who follow will prosper, while those who oppose will perish. I hope your foolish brains can understand the meaning of this phrase."
"Shing—"
Beneath the mask, Ban Sa gazed at the axe blade, swiftly sliding his fingers off the weapon, producing a low hum of sharpened metal. At the same time, Dompey looked toward the end of the cave, where a faint glimmer of light remained, and there stood a Stone Giant struggling to rise. His body was marred with shallow and deep cuts, evidence of a fierce battle with Ban Sa. His wounds were superficial because Aibo had barely any chance to counterattack against Ban Sa's Tear Star battle axe; he could only evade, waiting for an opportunity until all his kin had perished.
"So what is the meaning of your efforts? Why lead the Stone Giant Clan to resist us, allowing Yuan Zun's three hundred million years of toil to go to waste? The Great Emperor's Axe Blade has shown mercy; it is a sign of our king's regard for you. Stand up... yes, come here, join us. Surely you understand that the Titan Clan is merely a collateral relative of the Kumul bloodline."
Dompey was not lying. If one were to pursue the matter further, the Titan Stone Giant Clan was indeed related to the Kumler People. Moreover, if Ban Sa truly wished to strike, Aibo's fate would be no different from the scattered rubble on the ground. Dompey understood well what their internal Human emperor was thinking.
The distant commotion grew louder and louder, accompanied by the faint groans that Aibo was trying hard not to let out. The ground was littered with shattered rocks, but Aibo chose not to step on them. Instead, he cleared a space with his foot before standing firmly on it. Ban Sa seemed to pay no attention to Aibo's actions, but his mask had already subtly tilted, and his gaze followed the scattered rocks on the ground. "Have I made myself clear enough? The newly appointed... Titan's Scepter?"
Aibo's arms trembled violently as he tried to stand up, but ultimately he half-knelt against the wall. Apart from the cut on his body, he was covered in burn marks from laser guns. When the Internal Troops saw him attempting to rise, they immediately raised their guns and aimed at him. Contrary to Ban Sa's expectations, this giant did not let out a roar to bolster his courage against the guns; instead, he maintained an extremely restrained demeanor, filled with killing intent, as he locked eyes with each soldier in front of him. This made Ban Sa even more certain that if he could gain Aibo's loyalty, he would be a valuable asset.
After making the decision to sacrifice himself, Yuan Zun used his abilities to modify and enhance the molecular structure and density within Aibo's body, significantly increasing his resistance to damage. Faced with these gun barrels, even in his severely injured state, he felt no fear.
"Call me Aibo." Aibo spat out a mouthful of blue liquid and punched a hole into the mud wall, finally fixing his gaze firmly on Ban Sa and Dompey. "For three million years, Life Crystals have accompanied the Titan family for three million years. Even if you take away the Life Crystals, you will still destroy this world! Perhaps we cannot protect the Life Crystals, but our homeland... I will not allow it."
"Such heartfelt words... but you are wasting our time. What reason do you have to be so strong?" Dompey turned his back, signaling the surrounding soldiers to lower their weapons and stand by. "On the other hand, your family is dead. What is there for you to cling to in this world?"
"Those consumed by ambition will never understand the meaning of emotions."
Aibo's body tensed, and the accumulated energy erupted as he charged at the two once more. His attacks were always silent, devoid of any shouting or embellishment. Faced with this four-meter-tall giant, Ban Sa chose not to stand up to confront him; instead, he exchanged a glance with Dompey, who immediately raised his arms and prepared to concentrate the distorted Force Field around Aibo. However, just as he managed to pin Aibo to the ground, a massive boulder struck from behind, sending Dompey flying!
Ban Sa paused in his task of wiping the back of the axe and glanced slightly toward the cave entrance.
In addition to Aibo, there was another survivor—the Stone Giant, Gavi, who had been trapped beneath.
Like Telekinesis, the stones densely surrounding Gavi floated up with his steps, hurtling rapidly toward Ban Sa.
Watching the stones about to fly towards Ban Sa, he extended his hand and the flying debris suddenly stopped in mid-air. A visible green field expanded from Ban Sa's palm, resembling a vast galaxy unfolding from his hand. In just an instant, the stones were drawn together by this vortex-like field, like compressed solid waste, and one after another disintegrated on the ground.
Seizing the soldiers' moment of distraction, Aibo swiftly rose and smashed the ground with both hands, causing it to shatter and the soil to rise like splashing water, creating an explosive shockwave that sent all the surrounding soldiers flying.
Seeing Dompey being ambushed, Ban Sa sighed meaningfully, lifted his huge axe, and walked step by step towards Gavi. However, a loud noise behind him made him pause. He turned his head, but Aibo had already raised his fist and struck Ban Sa in the back. Ban Sa staggered, using the huge axe to steady himself, but Aibo quickly followed with another punch to Ban Sa's head!
With a loud crash, Ban Sa's giant axe fell to the ground, yet his Battle Armor still resonated with the echoes of Aibo's recent punches. Gavi swiftly executed a horizontal sweep, sending Ban Sa crashing to the ground. Aibo seamlessly followed up, raining down punches on Ban Sa, seemingly leaving him no opportunity to retaliate.
Ironically, Ban Sa merely wanted to give the two Big Guys a sense of accomplishment. It had been so long since he felt the sensation of being suppressed by an opponent that the relentless assault from these two Titans filled him with an inexplicable and almost perverse sense of satisfaction.
"Bang!"
Aibo felt a sudden stiffness and coldness in front of his fist, and what was pressing tightly against his fist was the palm of Ban Sa.
Under the mask, Ban Sa showed no expression, just softly said, "It's almost over."
Aibo and Gavi suddenly felt an unprecedented pressure. This terrifying sense of oppression often emanated from the extremely calm voice of a strong individual.
In an instant, Ban Sa struck Aibo with a thunderous and powerful punch, causing Aibo to groan in pain and stagger back a few steps. Gavi could only watch helplessly as Ban Sa grabbed Aibo's head and slammed it into the ground. By the time Gavi rushed forward to help, Ban Sa had already noticed him, turning around to capture him, delivering a kick to Gavi while skillfully dodging the stones summoned by Gavi.
Taking advantage of their passive state, Ban Sa reached out, pulling up the giant axe from the ground in the distance. It seemed to be composed of a substance that was between solid and gas, flying into Ban Sa's hand like soft, sticky clay, transforming back into the imposing form of the "Tear Star" battle axe. Just as Gavi lifted his head, Ban Sa had already raised the giant blade, swinging it down towards Gavi's head!
Gavi quickly raised his arm instinctively to block, and the result was predictable; his arm was cleaved apart like a foam board. Half of Gavi's arm fell to the ground, blue blood dripping from the stone limb.
"Uh..."
Aibo struggled to stand up, holding his head. He heard a scream. "Gavi?!" Aibo got up and saw Gavi continuously pushing the Summoning Stone out to block Ban Sa's axe, making a final struggle. Aibo hurriedly crawled towards the two, but unexpectedly, Ban Sa suddenly turned around and swung his axe horizontally! In a moment of panic, Aibo quickly pressed down on his foot, and the axe whizzed past, barely missing his chest.
"Go!" In the only gap for escape, Gavi chose to shout at Aibo, "We can't hold them off, go find the humans!"
Ban Sa stood between the two, the blade of his axe pointing at Gavi's feet as he said, "It's not just you who can't hold them off."
He seemed to be looking at Aibo until Aibo was suddenly lifted by something and floated in mid-air. Only then did Aibo realize what was happening. He turned around, and Dompey had already awakened; he was just waiting for the Emperor's command, biding his time until the Emperor was ready to act. Dompey swung his hand to the right, causing Aibo's body to tilt and slam against the rock wall.
"Don't worry about them anymore, Dompey. Try to move the stone wall," Ban Sa said.
Aibo glanced at Gavi, then looked at Dompey, who was heading towards the burial site of the Life Wand in the distance. Gritting his teeth, he immediately got up and rushed towards Dompey.
Dompey heard his heavy footsteps, turned around, and with a single palm strike, sent Aibo back behind Ban Sa.
Ban Sa immediately turned around, giving up control of Gavi, and instead turned to attack Aibo. In the panic, Aibo retreated and ended up falling to the ground.
However, at this moment, the situation took a subtle turn. A Time portal unexpectedly appeared behind Aibo, and he rolled into it in the momentum, realizing too late. Gavi extended his remaining hand and summoned the Time portal for Aibo.
"Sorry, brother. Run quickly."
In the end, Gavi chose to close his eyes.
"No!"
Aibo still wanted to run back, but the Time portal under Gavi's control had already collapsed rapidly.
At the moment of the collapse, Aibo watched as Gavi's head was sliced off by the god-slayer Ban Sa as if chopping vegetables...
"Well done, my servant."
Ban Sa stroked the giant axe, wiping the blood off the blade, adjusted his Battle Armor, and looked towards Dompey.
Dompey trembled all over, cold sweat pouring down as waves of intense pain radiated from his head throughout his body. He exerted every ounce of his telekinetic power, but the stone wall remained unmoved, only shedding a few fragments.
Footsteps began to echo behind him, and Dompey grew increasingly anxious.
"It seems your skills are still lacking, old friend," Ban Sa said, pushing Dompey aside. "Let me take over."
Ban Sa raised the giant axe and with a single stroke, a gap immediately appeared in the stone wall. However, Ban Sa frowned and swung the axe again, causing the stone wall to split with a loud crash.
"Truly impressive, Your Majesty," Dompey exclaimed.
"No," Ban Sa shook his head. "After years of battle, I have never seen anything that 'Tear Star' cannot cleave."
A green light instantly illuminated the entire cave, faintly, like the aurora. Ban Sa walked in, took out the staff of life, and raised it above his head. The eerie green light seemed to merge with the glow of the staff of life. He reached out with his other hand and forcefully extracted the Life Crystals from the staff, casually saying, "There's one more... Chaos Crystals."
