Before Old Liu could settle back into his Fishing Spot, the tents of Wang Gou and the others burst open. The loud splashing sound was their battle cry, something ingrained in their very DNA.
The group rushed towards Yi Laotou, and among them was an odd one out. Glancing at Xiao Feng, who was only wearing shorts, Liu wondered if he thought setting up a tent was a vacation. "Hurry back and put on some clothes! We’ve got a bite; let’s fish!" With a light kick to Xiao Feng, Da Gui Wang quickly stepped back, turning his gaze to the Rod in Yi Laotou's hands. That fish looked quite big!
"Master, hold on! I’m going to grab my phone to take a picture!" Watching Yi Laotou with the Rod, Shui Bi Zhang slowed down for a moment before sprinting back to his tent. When he emerged again, he was already holding up his phone.
With a powerful thrust, Yi Laotou tossed the Rod aside and grabbed the Loss Prevention Rope. This was his lucky start. Knowing Shui Bi Zhang was filming nearby, Yi Laotou, though panting heavily, had to maintain his image and appear calm and collected.

"Dace needs live bait; it’s best to fish in the morning or evening. Don’t be like me and come fishing at midnight; Huchen prefer bright conditions, so bites are scarce during this time." These were tips he had picked up along the way—learning as he went—regardless of whether they were accurate or not; he just needed to sell them first!
He had caught Huchen before while fishing with them; it was Zao Kou who hooked it, but it wasn’t this big. So this was merely his experience talking—though not extensive.
As he released and retrieved the Loss Prevention Rope, Yi Laotou continued explaining while reeling in the fish. Even the fish on the Hook seemed to grow impatient.
With a splash, the Loss Prevention Rope was pulled out several meters again. Impatient or not, it had to listen; with a firm tug, Yi Laotou pulled it back in and resumed lecturing about the Huchen.
After several rounds of this back-and-forth, he regained control of the Rod, and the fish on the Hook had only a bit of strength left.
With such a large fish, there was no need to rush; it had to be exhausted before being netted; otherwise, the chance of losing it would significantly increase!
Listening to Yi Laotou’s advice about tiring it out first, the Huchen complied by flipping onto its belly in exhaustion—ready for capture!
The group scrambled together to net the fish. Once they removed the Hook, Yi Laotou proudly held up the fish for a photo op.
"One Mi Si! Sixty-Eight Jin!"
After taking pictures, Yi Laotou triumphantly planted his flag. Soon he would edit that video and post it on the forum for everyone to see—let’s make some noise there too!
This fish wasn’t part of their target; that one weighed sixty pounds. The hunt for Huchen would continue; they’d catch a few more over the next few days! Looking at the information about this fish on his phone, Yi Laotou boasted proudly as they returned to their Fishing Spot—determined to reel in that explosive Huchen!
