The courtyard was chosen, and it was clear that Yi Laotou was very pleased with it. He immediately began to squat down and pull weeds.
"Master, let the workers handle these things. You don't need to bother! Hurry and claim a room; otherwise, Old Kong and the others will take all the good ones!" Shi Tianyi reminded him, prompting Yi Laotou to rush into the house with the keys. In a flurry of activity, they divided the rooms among themselves, locked the door downstairs, and strolled over to Shi Tian's courtyard.
Having secured the courtyard, Yi Laotou was in high spirits and decided not to eat at home tonight; he wanted to treat everyone!
At the car shop, a phone call summoned Scallion Ginger Fishy. The group boarded a boat, and upon arriving at the resort, they were greeted by a line of people standing neatly at the entrance to welcome them. Yi Laotou's reception was quite grand.
"These two are your Shixiong and Sister. I'm hosting dinner here tonight, so you all prepare the ingredients in the kitchen. I'll cook personally, and you all help me with the Xia Shou," he instructed.
Old Kong couldn't introduce them; this group of apprentices had no connection with Old Kong's team, so introductions would be pointless.
After greeting more than ten senior brothers and sisters, watching them rush toward the kitchen, Shi Tian followed Old Kong into a private room.
"Xiao Tian, how are the export rods coming along? How much stock do we have? The venue is ready; we’re just waiting to ship!" Old Kong asked as soon as the door closed behind them.
"Old man, you only ordered Boat Rods; we can't produce them fast enough!" Shi Tian replied.
The production of Boat Rods was slow and costly; they had only managed to make a few hundred so far.
Mentioning Old Kong's order gave Shi Tian a headache. He understood their eagerness to run to people's doorsteps for business, but just ordering Boat Rods consumed too many Points!
"A few hundred? That's a bit low! I had someone come for delivery early this morning; you need to speed up production!"
Old Kong's agency was reliable at least when it came to finances. The rods were sold at retail prices, and with such high pricing, money arrived even before shipping began.
Old Kong was already quite satisfied with a few hundred rods. With these in hand, they could start spreading Xiao Ping Tou in the East China Sea. That was a battlefield; from the South there were Taiwan and further south were the Philippines. The eastern side was also important; they needed to explore Xiao Ri Zi as well. No matter how good Shi Tian's rods were, breaking into Xiao Ri Zi's market would be difficult.
However, exploring on their own would be too costly; they needed help from others for efficiency. The quantity of rods still needed to increase!
Shi Tian also wanted to boost production, but Points wouldn't allow it! The hooks from Tou Bird were just starting distribution, while conditions in Indonesia were better and quantities larger—if they were cheap enough, they would be snatched up crazily.
The Philippines had also sent over several Yuan Zhuang Boxes; they probably hadn't arrived yet. Once those hooks were distributed in the Philippines, things would get serious.
"Old man, why don't you set up a branch for Diao Jiao over in Hangzhou? Yesterday while I was fishing in Yangzhou, there were plenty of old men fishing there—there must be many who enjoy Sea Fishing too."
Hearing this from Shi Tian, Old Kong and Old Wen exchanged glances; this kid had quite an ambitious vision.
After dinner, they sent several old men back home while Li Ziyu escorted Shi Tian back to his small courtyard.
"Xiao Yu, my cat can do a backflip. Want to see?" Shi Tian said with a chuckle, as he sat in the car, gently holding Li Ziyu's small hand.
Rolling his eyes, Shi Tianyi thought to himself, this trick is so old! Does he really think I don't know if his cat can do a backflip? I've had Tang Tang for much longer than Shi Tian has had his pet!
