Having finalized the plans for fishing for Carp, Oka and Scallion Ginger Fishy also arrived. With the increased budget for the event, Shui Bi Zhang had more room to maneuver.
Shui Laoban had already agreed to hold the reception and activities at Scallion Ginger Fishy's resort, which was a gift he presented to Scallion Ginger Fishy. Although he didn't deliver the gift personally, it was sent through Oka, thus securing a favor from Oka.
"Ou Ge, Cong Ge, come sit! The shrimp hasn't arrived yet! We've been waiting for you!" As soon as the two entered, Shui Bi Zhang stood up to greet them. The previous bowl of shrimp had been taken away after being splashed by a lobster, and the new order hadn't come yet, making their arrival quite timely.
"Ou Ge, in a few days I plan to charter a Sea Fishing boat to Xisha. Do you have time? Want to join us? It's free!" Shui Bi Zhang got straight to the point as soon as they arrived.
Xisha was where the real deep-sea fishing happened, far more exciting than anywhere else.
Upon hearing that Shui Bi Zhang was chartering a boat to Xisha, the lobster felt a bit confused. What did that mean? Was his status only worth something here, while in their eyes he became just another person going to Xisha? Was there such a big difference in treatment? He thought about bailing out!
"Xisha? That's quite generous! I'm in, just let me know when!" Upon hearing "Xisha," Oka immediately showed his enthusiasm. For him, it was just fast food; Xisha was the real deal. Although it would be on a fishing boat with somewhat lesser conditions, getting to fish in Xisha for free was an opportunity not to be missed!
A few days? Unlike Oka, Scallion Ginger Fishy had to consider his schedule carefully. Yi Laotou had not yet lifted his restrictions on him; he still needed to figure out how to get on Yi Laotou's good side.
It wouldn't be too hard with Yi Laotou; he could take him out on the boat for a day—leave early in the morning and return late at night—and that would solve the issue. Staying overnight at sea with Yi Laotou was impossible since he had his own limitations. However, with his own boat, he could come and go as he pleased; it would only take about three hours of sailing to get there.
Besides dealing with Yi Laotou's situation, he also needed to manage things at the resort. With so many activities planned at the office, he couldn't be away for too long. If they set off in three days and spent a day traveling there and another three or four days fishing at sea, that would add up to ten days—meaning they would return around the 17th or 18th!
With limited funds, they could only spare five or six days. "Lobster, why don't you check with Zhang Junming if he's interested? If he is, we can bring him along! He hasn't been to Xisha yet!" Although Lobster didn't plan on involving Zhang Junming directly, Shui Bi Zhang still wanted to give it a shot.
If Zhang Junming could join them on the boat for a few days of fishing, given Shui Bi Zhang's capabilities, it would be easy for them to become Fishing Buddies.
Five or six days could still be squeezed out; any longer than that would be difficult! After calculating everything, Scallion Ginger Fishy felt that spending a few days at sea wouldn't be an issue; five or six days wouldn't affect the normal operations of the resort.
With this suggestion from Shui Bi Zhang, Lobster understood that this was an upgrade—they were going straight from regular fishing to Xisha! He was included in this opportunity!
He hadn't been to Xisha yet; he'd need to check first! As for whether he'd go or not—he couldn't guarantee anything!
If they invited Zhang Junming along, he'd probably only recognize Cong Jiang Xing since they were familiar with that boat and always had good catches. However, if they dangled Xisha in front of Zhang Junming, it might just work!
After finishing their meal of small lobsters, the four parted ways. Scallion Ginger Fishy and Oka headed back to their shop for some wheels while Lobster went off to hook Zhang Junming into his fishing plans.
Zhang Junming, the fishing conditions in Xisha have been quite good lately, with plenty of Dajinqiang. In a few days, I plan to take a week off; a friend has rented a boat, and I want to join him to catch a few fish to bring back!
Late at night, I called Zhang Junming to gauge his interest.
"Xisha? Isn't that too much for you guys? Didn't you just go there a few days ago?" Hearing the mention of Xisha, Zhang Junming got up from his room, teasingly taking his time.
Lobster wanted to ask for leave regarding Xisha, and this matter was too serious to discuss over the phone at such an hour. There must be something going on!
"It's just that my friend has rented a boat for fishing. There are a few empty spots, so he invited me along with Scallion Ginger Fishy and Oka. There's still one spot left; do you want to join? But it's a Fishing Boat, so the conditions might not be too great!"
Upon hearing that Oka and Scallion Ginger Fishy would also be on the boat, Zhang Junming narrowed his eyes. "What's going on? Is your Sea Fishing Faction planning to take off?"
Lobster had previously joked about the Sea Fishing Faction with him. If they were renting a boat for Xisha, Wang Ergou certainly had the financial means, and Calmly could afford it as well. Besides those two, the other three probably wouldn't be willing to spend such a large sum just to fish in Xisha.
However, this time the boat was not rented by the Sea Fishing Faction but by Shui Bi Zhang. This guy had signed several contracts recently and received rewards from Shui Laoban! Since there were empty spots on the boat, it became an opportunity for us.
Zhang Junming had never met Shui Bi Zhang but remembered hearing about his exploits when Lobster had been drinking and bragging about him.
"Ah! When are we leaving? Count me in!" Upon learning that it was Shui Bi Zhang who had rented the boat, Zhang Junming became interested.
He was intrigued by Xisha but even more so by Shui Bi Zhang.
