The boat docked at the Small Pier, where two refrigerated trucks were already waiting. One belonged to Sister Thirty, filled with so much Tuna that it was clear she intended to sell them. Even if they were to keep some, one fish per person would suffice; the rest needed to be loaded and taken away.
The other truck was called in by Li Yunfei, specifically to transport a fish that hadn’t yet frozen solid. He ordered a refrigerated truck to ensure it arrived in the capital in good condition; the shipping cost alone could buy half a fish!
They weren’t selling the fish from Man Cang Hao, although there had been a brief commotion when a Zao Kou brought up an extra fish. It was simple: they would gather in the evening, cut the leftovers into pieces, and share them among friends and family for a taste of something fresh.
After selling the fish, they sat down with their gear inside the shop. Li Yunfei turned and headed next door to the Cold Drink Shop. Before long, he returned with bags full of various milk teas, one for each person, leaving Shi Tian somewhat dumbfounded.
“Now that I’m on my turf, I’ve brewed some fine tea, and you bring back all this milk tea! What’s that about?”
Wang Gou and the others were restocking their gear while Sun Lang had already taken his position. Shi Tian was sipping his milk tea and chatting with a few people, making the good tea feel wasted.
Watching Shui Bi Zhang place the borrowed Boat Rod back on the shelf, Li Yunfei picked it up and said, “Xiao Tian, this Rod is just like yours!”
“It’s the same, but this is a Sample. If you want to order stock, you’ll need to place a reservation. The Rod and line should arrive in about three days; however, the Wheel will take longer due to its complicated manufacturing process.”
A hundred bucks for a locksmith service that opens in three seconds makes customers feel cheated. If it takes half an hour of fiddling and sweating to get it open, then it doesn’t feel like a loss—maybe they’ll even offer you a drink before you leave!
Shi Tian set the price for the Wheel at one hundred thousand. He figured he should give Li Yunfei some sense of ceremony; otherwise, he might feel like he was getting ripped off!
After giving Shi Tian a glance, Li Yunfei returned the Rod to the shelf and began browsing through other small items. Once he selected a pile of things, he scanned to pay and sat back on the sofa facing Shi Tian. “That Rod is nice; let my daughter come over later to order me a set. She promised she’d get me one!”
“Brother Shi, let’s go! You promised to treat me to drinks; let’s find a place to have a couple!”
After saying this, Li Yunfei turned back to Shi Tian and asked, “Xiao Tian, has Cai Li come to Sanya yet? Has his shop opened? If it has, let’s go there for drinks and see what skills he picked up from you!”
“It’s open; it’s right across from us.” Li Yunfei was treating but hadn’t invited him! Was he unhappy with his pricing?
If there were issues with pricing, so be it! Since he brought it up, there would be no changes! The price for boat reels could be higher; after all, they had a limited audience and didn’t earn much profit. The production costs were exorbitant; if someone wanted to buy them, he didn’t even want to sell!
Watching Li Yunfei leave with Shi Chui while joking around made everyone inside finish restocking their gear as Tuna were moved from the boat to the truck.
“Tian Ge! I’m treating tonight; everyone should come! We’re going to Old Zhang’s for crayfish—I’ve asked him to prepare everything. Let’s meet here at seven!” He reminded each person before Shui Bi Zhang drove off.
“You’re treating? And then having Shui Laoban reimburse you?”
Once everyone had left, Shi Tian decided it was time for him to go as well.
At the entrance of the shop, with such a commotion, Yun Wan'er and Li Ziyu were definitely not inside.
After taking Tang Tang from Su Xueyi's hands, I carried him onto the boat. I tossed a Flying Fish into the cabin, and Tang Tang immediately jumped down from my arms.
Once the cabin door was closed, I rubbed Tang Tang, who was happily gnawing on the Flying Fish, and activated the Mini Air Force to head to the Small Pier at the hotel entrance.
I arranged for someone to freeze a Dajinqiang from the Ice Chamber into the cold storage. Shi Tian pulled out his phone and called Yi Laotou.
"You're back?" Yi Laotou was taken aback by Shi Tian's call; finally, they wouldn't have to feed the fish anymore!
"I'm back, just got back!"
"Master, I've left a Dajinqiang for you in the hotel's cold storage. Just let me know when you want me to send it over."
This fish was reserved for the four old men. Since I didn't know if I would have time to go fishing again soon, I prepared a Tuna for them in advance. If there was another chance to go out to sea, I would prepare a few more for them then.
We had plenty of this at home; Yun Wan'er even frowned at the smell of fish now. Li Ziyu definitely wouldn't bring this back with her; their family already had a Fisherman. Pingtou Ge wouldn’t possibly return home without bringing back a few Tunas.
As for Shi Ye Kong Jun and the others, it was needless to say—sending them a Tuna would be less practical than giving them a Rod; if they wanted fish, they would go catch it themselves.
"Left for us? You’re thoughtful!" After replying to Shi Tian, I heard Old Kong urging me to hurry over.
Well, before even getting home, I was caught by a few old men; I should have gone home first!
Carrying a bag of Flying Fish and holding Tang Tang, I took the hotel’s electric cart back home. After freezing the Flying Fish in the icebox, I searched upstairs and downstairs but found no one at home!
Shaking my head, I turned around and headed towards their Secret Base.
"Hey! Old man, what happened? Why are you hooked up to monitors?" As soon as I entered, the scene inside nearly scared Shi Tian to death; Old Kong was attached to several wires—this was a heart monitor!
