Endless killing! It just won't stop! I surrender! After taking down more than ten Sea Wolves, Oka was the first to give in. He tossed the severed head of a Sea Wolf towards Hai Li, provoking the pack before he began the arduous task of cleaning the deck.
He had seen packs of Sea Wolves before, but never one this frenzied! Normally, Sea Wolves were cautious; while they would rob fishing catches, they would never approach the side of a boat. But the late-night Sea Wolves had no such reservations. They didn't care about the boat's edge; they seized every opportunity to attack, and even if a Hook snagged one, it might still cost half of it as a toll!
As blood poured into the sea, the Sea Wolves became even more frenzied, leaping wildly. Was Hai Li experiencing a famine? Seeing the densely packed Sea Wolves jumping around, Shi Tian quickly reeled in his Hook, fearing that if he was slow, this swarm would chew it up!
Well then, fishing was out of the question for tonight! With these bandits surrounding them, managing to pull up a fish head would be showing mercy! He packed away his Rod and cleaned up that half Tuna, slicing off the best part of its belly and tossing the rest to Hai Li.
At this hour, switching Fishing Spots was unrealistic. The late-night bite would end before they even reached a new spot! If they didn’t switch, there wouldn’t be any fish left with this pack of Sea Wolves passing through.
After tidying up the deck, he pushed down on the throttle and fled with Mini Air Force and Man Cang Hao in disarray, making their escape.
They couldn’t provoke them any further; at least they could still hide!
Li Yunfei and Pingtou Ge fished until dark. When they checked the time, they realized they had lost track of their original plans! Pingtou Ge had arranged to fish late with Shi Tian, while Li Yunfei was supposed to meet Shi Tian for a gathering. Instead, both had become addicted after catching several Xiao Yu.
“Is Shi Tian still around? I’ll go check on him. Do you want to come?” Li Yunfei asked Pingtou Ge as he reeled in his Rod.
Upon hearing that Li Yunfei intended to meet Shi Tian, Pingtou Ge’s hair stood on end in fright. “No way! I still have to get back for my shift!”
Why would he follow Li Yunfei to meet Shi Tian? If they met face-to-face, Shi Chui might invite Li Yunfei for drinks right in front of him—he wouldn’t know how to handle that!
Besides, from what Li Yunfei said, it didn’t sound like he had any intention of bringing him along; otherwise, he wouldn’t have asked!
But why did Li Yunfei want to see Shi Tian? Did they know each other? That seemed impossible! Was Li Yunfei looking for Shi Ye? Could it be related to Xia Shou through Shi Tian? That didn’t seem likely!
If he wanted to find Shi Ye, he could just call him directly; they weren’t strangers!
Returning to reality, Pingtou Ge immediately informed those at the radio station that whoever looked for him that evening should be told he wasn’t available—even if it was Li Yunfei calling him. He wouldn’t step off the platform!
Pingtou Ge hid away and even forgot about delivering the Tuna he promised Li Yunfei! Even if he hadn’t forgotten, he wouldn’t deliver it anyway; he could just take it home himself during the New Year. If all else failed, he could ask Shi Tian to bring it back for Li Ziyu and have her send it home without any problem.
Watching the rows of fishing boats around him, Li Yunfei felt a bit bored. Since Shi Tian hadn’t returned yet, he decided to fish while waiting for him.
“Who’s the idiot who came out here on a yacht to fish?” As he got closer, Sun Lang couldn’t help but exclaim upon seeing the yacht rented by Li Yunfei.
Sun Lang’s comment left Shi Tian speechless. “The Mini Air Force is essentially a yacht too, just a smaller one!”
“Don’t laugh at others, you’re the one fishing on a yacht right now!” Shi Tian shot back at Sun Lang before heading to the top of the boat. He grabbed a pair of binoculars and took a look.
Sure enough, it was that fool Li Yunfei! He was currently fishing at the stern!
“Ou Ge, you take the wheel! Slow down and get closer to that yacht. That’s a fishing buddy I met in Xishuangbanna!” Shi Tian turned to Oka and said, putting down the binoculars and lighting a cigarette as he quietly observed Li Yunfei on the distant yacht.
Oka’s driving skills were much better than Sun Lang’s; after all, he had his own boat before and had spent plenty of time operating the Mini Air Force and Cong Jiang Qu Xing since returning home.
“Your fishing buddy from Xishuangbanna came for sea fishing? Or did he come out here on a yacht for sea fishing?” Oka asked in confusion.
“That boat must be rented. A newbie like him wouldn’t own such a vessel; I even taught him how to set up his float. Since he’s come right to me, I’ll guide him deeper into the world of sea fishing!” Shi Tian smiled slightly, imagining Li Yunfei waving money at him and shouting “Buy! Buy! Buy!”
Renting a yacht for sea fishing is indeed quite something—purely for show!
After switching places with Sun Lang, Oka slowly steered the Mini Air Force closer to Li Yunfei’s larger boat, causing the captain on the yacht to shout through the radio in alarm.
That captain was from Sanya and knew well enough not to mess with the Mini Air Force. If they collided with the charming Air Force, they might end up needing repairs for their own boat.
“Fei Ge, have you caught anything big?” As they approached, Shi Tian shouted out.
“Big catch? Yes! I caught a twenty-pound Sea Wolf this afternoon!” Seeing Shi Tian coming over, Li Yunfei grinned. He was relieved that Shi Tian had finally shown up; he had thought he’d been stood up.
Indeed, he had caught a twenty-pound Sea Wolf earlier that afternoon, but it was among his other catches. The fish was still on board, perfect for showing off.
“That’s huge! It must be over a meter long!” Once they docked, Shi Tian immediately praised him.
A twenty-pound Sea Wolf was indeed considerable; it was about the same size as those they had fished earlier. For someone like Li Yunfei, this size could be considered quite impressive.
Sea fishing is really thrilling! Even if it’s only twenty pounds, its strength is far greater than that of a Carp! Plus, it can jump one or two meters high!
With his small Sea Wolf catch in hand, Li Yunfei excitedly described the sensation of reeling in an Ocean Wolf to Shi Tian.
