Humans rule the land with their intelligence, while Orcas dominate the ocean with theirs. The intelligence of Orcas can reach that of a human teenager, surpassing dolphins and elephants by a significant margin. Even the Border Collie, known for its smarts, seems foolish in comparison.
From Antarctica to the Arctic, Orcas are widely distributed. They are often referred to as the "Yangtze River Street Performer" of the sea, having earned their impressive reputation through sheer skill and prowess. The Yangtze River Dolphin, on the other hand, flaunts its status with bravado, boldly teasing fishermen. But Orcas are different; their reputation is built on strength and capability.
When encountering a Sea Turtle, they might nudge it playfully, not out of hunger but simply for fun. They let the Sea Turtle go once it has lost its temper, especially around Xisha North Island, a breeding ground for Green Sea Turtles.
When they come across a Seal, they perform a show of strength. Even if the Seal manages to climb onto an ice floe, a few Orcas can create a small wave together that sends the Seal back into the water. They can even break ice to leave the Seal with nowhere to escape.
Dolphins may be clever, but when faced with Orcas, they have no choice but to flee. Orcas possess significantly higher intelligence than dolphins and often appear in groups; if one runs slow, it becomes dinner—no matter its rank in intelligence.
Just how smart are Orcas? They can catch a small fish and bring it to the beach to lure seabirds into competing for it, seizing the opportunity to snatch a bird for a meal. They could almost be seen as fishing with a rod if given the chance; otherwise, they might be able to catch birds from land.
To hunt effectively, Orcas have even evolved a form of communication and teamwork. If there's an issue, they call out to one another. It is said that different groups of Orcas have their own dialects. Given a few thousand years more, they might even be able to make phone calls to humans.
As small fish are tossed into the water, Li Ziyu and her team arrive equipped with cameras. They pull out boxes of bait fish, leaving the group of small Orcas at the boat utterly stunned!
"Look! Those three bipeds are Xiao Fu's ladies! Let’s put on a show and trick them into giving us their fish!"
Those bipeds are rather cute! Should we try to lure one as a pet? A little biped like that would only need three fish a day at most!
"Don't be silly! Bipedal creatures can't live in the sea! They can't drink seawater; what a waste!"
While Shi Tian and Li Ziyu were plotting against the Orcas by the boat, the Orcas were also scheming against them! Different species but with similar goals—this was pure mutual pursuit!
Climbing down from the stern into the water, Shi Tian gently patted one small Orca on the head and swam towards the group, instantly becoming their favorite.
In the wild, there are no recorded attacks by Orcas. Swimming among them, Shi Tian felt safe. She petted one here and another there until she turned around and saw a small Orca bringing her a Mako Shark as an offering—leaving everyone on board Three Beauties in awe!
After rushing back to change into her swimsuit, Dog Meat led them in line down into the sea for a segment of Beauty and the Beast! The four of them each caught a Great White Shark.
With Mahi Mahi brought aboard, they continued diving while Orcas kept providing food—far more efficient than fishing!
Exhausted from all the activity, Shi Tian sent Three Beauties back onto the boat. In this land of etiquette, receiving gifts means giving back; she lay on the stern tossing bait fish into the mouths of small Orcas while admiring their long legs that made her drool.
Waving goodbye to those playful creatures, she grabbed her computer and rushed into the media room to edit videos from that afternoon—especially focusing on that Mouse Grouper which Li Ziyu had labeled.
The beauty of snorkeling combined with underwater scenery made for one video; Tai Shang Lao Jun was another piece. As for Orcas? They were working overtime on that segment.
Editing videos was professional work for Eleven. Li Ziyu was busy too, dragging September along to help with soundtracks. With such high standards for these videos, they needed original recordings!
Pouring tea and water while watching Li Ziyu's nimble fingers dance across the piano keys, Shi Tian sank into the sofa to enjoy herself first before anything else!
Music has a way of relaxing people, but too much relaxation can lead to a daze. As he opened his eyes, Pingtou Ge glared at him with an angry expression.
Rubbing the back of his head, which was slightly sore, he turned to glance at the three beautiful girls in swimsuits nearby, then looked back at Pingtou Ge, who was staring intently at him. This music was a bit hypnotic!
“Hey! Bro, you’re back! Did you catch anything?” He touched his nose, noticing that Pingtou Ge seemed a bit irritable. Was it tough out there?
The three girls were busy editing videos, so what was he doing here? He should just go take a nap! Shi Tianyi urged Pingtou Ge.
Was this tactic not working anymore? It made sense; Li Ziyu was still in her swimsuit! If he were a big guy lying next to three girls in swimsuits, he would feel frustrated too.
Being obediently dragged out of the media room by Pingtou Ge, Shi Tian turned around and chuckled, “Bro, let’s customize that Iso Rod! You’ve been fishing all afternoon with that Rod among the schools of fish; you wouldn’t be struggling now, would you?”
“Do you think my skills are lacking?” Pingtou Ge retorted. “Come on, I’ll show you my Fish Catch technique and let you see what real skill looks like!” The moment he heard the term “struggling,” Pingtou Ge immediately lost interest in the conversation and insisted on dragging Shi Tian to see his Fish Catch.
When they opened the cooler filled with crushed ice, it was packed with fish—various types of snapper and grouper. Pingtou Ge was showing off with unabashed pride.
Seeing Pingtou Ge's smug demeanor, Shi Tian felt it was necessary to help him cool down a bit. Just as he thought about teasing him with the Mako Shark that Orca had fed him earlier in the afternoon, that idea was quickly snuffed out!
“Let’s not act impulsively now!”
