Ugh! What kind of despicable person did this? Who leaves a pile of crap behind? Is it a cat's doing?
Wang Ergou felt he had struck gold when he unearthed the buried loot from the rabbit last night. The sight made him feel utterly nauseated, yet he dared not curse loudly, fearing that the people nearby would notice the commotion.
After covering up the rabbit's stash, Wang Ergou could only suppress his disgust and continue digging for treasure.
Over an hour later, when Wang Ergou returned empty-handed, having lost his shovel somewhere, Shi Tian finally struck a deal with Sister Bo, selling a thirty-pound Azure Catfish for nine hundred and ninety-seven dollars.
Wild Azure Catfish over thirty pounds cannot be sold by weight; they must be sold by the piece. The previous fifty-pound Azure Catfish had gone for three thousand dollars, which was already a bargain. If a foodie had been around, they might have paid another two thousand without hesitation. However, Sister Bo clearly wasn’t a foodie; once this opportunity was missed, there wouldn’t be another. It was best to make the sale while they could!
Didn’t you say there would be a real discount this time? It wouldn’t just be two dollars off, right?
Exactly! Isn’t it three dollars off? Come on, scan the code! What you’re buying isn’t just fish; it’s love for the team! Look at Brother Huang Pao drooling; you can’t let him down!
Another thousand dollars was added to the account. Shi Tian proudly picked up his gear, while Fishing Buddy had already rushed over with the Fishing Platform, ready to set it up right where Shi Tian had been. No need to set up a nest; they could start fishing right away!
Back at the Fishing Tackle Shop, Shi Chui was still fishing at the entrance. Was he addicted? It was nearly midnight, and he hadn’t gone home yet?
“Lao Shi, what time is it? Why aren’t you heading back? If you go now, Old Yun will think you rushed back because you were obedient to orders. If you wait any longer and she’s already asleep when you return, she’ll definitely get mad at you!”
Upon hearing this, Shi Chui shot a cold glare at Shi Tian.
“Do you think I don’t want to go back? You took my car! If I drive yours back, it’ll be obvious!” He shoved his rod into Shi Tian’s arms and snatched the car keys from him before storming off in anger.
It was almost midnight; Yun Wan'er had likely already gone to bed. What would there be to eat if he returned now?
If he had gone back two hours earlier and brought Yun Wan'er a small gift while casually steering the conversation towards those old men, everything would have been fine. Now that it had come to this, he would still have to buy her a late-night snack; otherwise, he’d probably get an earful as soon as he walked in!
After sending Shi Chui off, it wasn’t long before the delivery truck arrived. They unloaded steel materials into the Workshop. Since it was late at night and no one was around, it was time to upgrade the Fishing Box!
In Shi Tian’s eyes, this was a major project that would take at least three to five days of work!
Following the upgrade steps, he connected the Fishing Box to a three hundred eighty-volt power supply. After placing in the first batch of materials and waiting for over ten minutes, two small Mechanical Arms were produced. From then on, Shi Tian didn’t need to worry about anything else; he just had to keep feeding in materials!
He carried all the materials over to the Fishing Box and watched as each part was created and assembled by the Mechanical Arms. In just over two hours, the core components of the upgraded Fishing Box were ready for operation.
Once the core components started working, efficiency noticeably increased. His Small Tackle Box became obsolete, and even Shi Tian was kicked out of the little Workshop.
Since he wasn’t needed anymore, he decided to head back and get some sleep. Hopefully, by tomorrow morning, the Fishing Box would be fully upgraded so he could see what new things it would create.
From now on, fishing in the Yangtze River would be prohibited for ten days.
However, fishing regulations vary by location. Some areas are designated as no-fishing zones, while in certain river sections, fishing is allowed but limited to one person with one rod, one line, and one hook. Using a double hook is illegal! As for lures, that's an invitation for trouble; it's far more expensive than just going to a tea house!
In fully restricted fishing zones, the rules are much stricter. Whether you have one hook or half a hook, if you're caught, you'll be in for a serious chat—there's no hiding. With speedboats and drones equipped with infrared imaging, they can catch you from land, sea, or air. You never know when a camera might be lurking in some corner!
In Hubei Huanggang, where the Qi River meets the Yangtze River Estuary, this area is a no-catch zone. However, you can still enjoy leisure fishing with one rod, one line, and one hook. After work, Single Hook Brother met up with Dan Geng Ge and headed to their familiar fishing spot.
They ventured into Lu Wei Dang and after more than twenty meters found the small path they had cleared. Following the path another thirty meters led them to a stone where they took five steps back. Cautiously pushing aside the reeds, they squeezed through. Three meters later, they found another path leading to several fishing spots.
The weather had cooled down here, so there was no need to worry about mosquitoes or snakes; as long as they dressed warmly, sitting here for an entire evening was much more comfortable than in summer!
At the old fishing spot, they always baited the area after each session. The fish were biting well; after a long night of fishing, this week’s Milk Fish Soup was looking promising.
Another carp weighing over half a kilogram was caught. Single Hook Brother quickly prepared another Xiao Er bait and cast his line into the water. The fish were biting so quickly he barely had time to take a sip of water!
The float bobbed once and then twice—no doubt it was another carp! He lifted his rod to set the hook but paused when he saw Xiao Kalami on the line. He let the fish play on the rod for a moment while he took a sip of water.
Holding the bottle of mineral water to his mouth, he tilted his head back just in time to see his friend’s rod slipping away into solitude.
He tossed aside the empty water bottle and grabbed the rod again; this fish felt big! How could it grow from half a kilogram to several tens of kilograms in just the time it took to drink a bottle of water?
There was no time to drink now; he needed to reel in the fish first! A catch this size was not something you encountered every day!
