A Sailfish and a Tuna were caught, and cheers erupted on the boat! After taking some photos, the fish were tossed into the Ice Chamber. Wang Ergou was busy bleeding the Tuna to remove its lactic acid. After a flurry of activity, they cast their lines again, but the school of fish had vanished!
With no fish in sight, Shi Tian decided not to cast again. He had already caught a fish weighing over forty pounds, setting a new record. He climbed to the top of the boat to watch the people on the opposite boat busy with their catch.
They had hooked a fish too, but it was still being reeled in. Due to the Electric Reel's lack of responsiveness, Zhang Junming and Niu Zong opted for Shaking. They only managed to catch one fish at the start, and Niu Zong was eager to switch rods!
After struggling with a fish for over half an hour, Niu Zong finally hooked one and held on for twenty minutes before Zhang Junming took over. Zhang Junming was smart enough not to outdo Niu Zong! He timed it perfectly, surrendering after seventeen or eighteen minutes, passing the rod back to Lobster.
Lobster had plenty of experience; within moments, they had the fish near the boat again, and the rod was back in Niu Zong's hands. "Oil! Power! Whoever catches the smaller fish pays!" Shi Tian shouted across to the other boat as he settled down at the top of the boat, quietly enjoying the excitement.
Hearing this, Scallion and Ginger to Remove Fishy Smell shot Shi Tian a glare. "You already have a Sailfish weighing over a hundred pounds; why are you looking for trouble now?"
With a flick of his hook, Niu Zong stumbled as he lost his line! Fortunately, Scallion and Ginger to Remove Fishy Smell was quick-witted and managed to snag another hook onto the fish just in time; otherwise, Niu Zong would have been hiding in the restroom crying!
Not feeling secure with just one hook, Lobster found another hook. With both hooks working together, they finally pulled a large Yellowfin Tuna onto the boat. Niu Zong's face was all smiles!
"I'll treat everyone when we get back! Make sure you all come!" He snapped a photo with his big catch and started planning how he would show off once they returned!
It wasn't surprising that there were so many Tuna and Sailfish around; considering that group of Flying Fish earlier, it was quite normal for them to be targeted by Tuna and Sailfish. Otherwise, it wouldn't have been possible to catch Tuna in broad daylight.
As Sun Lang steered the boat towards Nan You, Shi Tian and Wang Ergou both retreated into their rooms for a long nap after lunch. Meanwhile, Da Gui Four-Man Team was full of energy, frantically reeling in their lines.
"Keep going! If you reel in that many iron plates this afternoon, let’s see if you have any strength left to cast your lines tonight!"
"Hai Ge, that Tuna of yours is impressive! Can I borrow it when we get back?" Da Gui Wang sidled up next to Dalian with a sly grin.
Shi Tian's Sailfish was out of reach for him; Sailfish weren't cheap either. While they were certainly famous, they didn't hold as much value as Tuna.
Hearing this made Dazhai pause; Calmly tugged at his rod and moved two steps away to hide behind Sun Lang.
He didn't want to be near Da Gui Wang; who knew what schemes he was brewing? It was better to keep his distance and avoid getting caught up in any trouble. Although he hadn’t caught any Tuna himself, he had landed several other fish. If Da Gui Wang set his sights on him, he would surely lose two fish—especially if they were valuable Xia Shou.
"Borrow fish? What do you mean borrow? Didn’t we just take pictures? Are you planning to flaunt it around?" Da Gui Wang's words left Dazhai puzzled; after years of fishing, this was his first time hearing about borrowing fish. How does one even borrow a fish? Carry it around the neighborhood for a stroll?
Seeing that Dazhai hadn’t outright refused him yet, Da Gui Wang chuckled slyly.
"Is it that easy to go fishing with you guys? And to be out for four or five days straight? Without signing an Unequal Treaty, how could my wife let me go?"
With a sigh, Da Gui Wang offered a cigarette to the sea and lamented, "I can only take five days off, but my wife has given me a mission. On top of the fishing expenses, I have to hand over two thousand dollars, and she won't accept anything less. She wants to see the fish! Otherwise, life will be unbearable!"
"Hai Ge, your skills are great; catching a fish is nothing for you. But for me, that fish means happiness for the rest of my life! Just imagine, when I present that fish to her, I can't wait to see her reaction!"

A Yellowfin Tuna costs two or three dollars per pound. Even if sold to high-end restaurants, it would fetch at least a dollar more per pound. In reality, most people who go Sea Fishing rarely sell their catch. Even Tuna is seldom sold; Xiao Yu would release them while big fish are taken home to share with family and friends.
Aside from the money, this was his first Tuna catch! If Da Gui Wang tricked him into giving it away with just a few sob stories, that would be a huge loss.
The sea wasn't surprised by Da Gui Wang's antics; if it were that easy to con someone out of a fish, he wouldn't underestimate the sea!
