When Shi Tian arrived at the resort, Wang Gou and the others were already there, unloading sheep from the vehicle. Xia Shou was particularly ruthless; the sheep clearly weighed over a hundred pounds. A single hind leg from such a large sheep would be enough to serve Shi Chui and Yun Wan'er!
"Brother Dog, I’m reserving a hind leg of that sheep!" Shi Tian shouted. It was then he noticed someone unfamiliar at the scene, struggling to lift the sheep's head.
Seeing Shi Tian approach with two boxes, Wang Gou grinned and introduced, "This is Chao Fen, the Wan Ning Angler. He’s the one taking us to Pan Hei Keng!"
As Wang Gou introduced him, Chao Fen quickly stepped forward to greet Shi Tian. However, Xia Shou swiftly positioned himself between them and reached for the boxes in Shi Tian's arms.
"I'll help you carry those; you go shake hands with Chao Fen! It’s your first meeting; we should make it formal!"
Before Shi Tian could react, Xia Shou took the boxes from him and dove into the vehicle. Wang Gou then closed the trunk with a decisive thud, and with a beep, the car doors locked.
Shi Tian thought to himself: Are they really pulling this on me? How did I not notice this before? Wang Gou and Xia Shou don’t seem like good guys at all!
"Brother Dog, that box on top contains Oka and Line Setup. Be gentle with it!" With the boxes taken away, Shi Tian had no choice but to concede. The Wo Liao was whatever, but that two-thousand-meter line cost a fortune; he couldn’t let Wang Gou take advantage of him.
"Who told you to hand your boxes to Xia Shou? That guy is untrustworthy!" Wang Gou shrugged nonchalantly. "This is his car; I didn’t take anything!"
With Wang Gou’s tactics failing, Shi Tian leaned against the car window to see whether they would roast or steam the lobster tonight. He absolutely couldn’t let it stay overnight!
He watched as Xia Shou gleefully opened the box, tossing packages of Wo Liao into the back seat. As for Line Setup, he showed no interest; he knew he could buy that directly from Shi Tian without needing to steal it.
Once both boxes were emptied, all the Wo Liao had already been tossed into the back seat. Xia Shou smiled slightly and exchanged a knowing glance with Wang Gou.
"Xiao Tian, come over here and check out which leg of lamb you want!" Wang Gou draped an arm over Shi Tian's shoulder and gave him a nudge. In no time at all, Xia Shou seized the opportunity to grab a box and hop out of the car.
With a quick lock of the car door, he pushed the box into Shi Tian's arms and chuckled, "Let’s head inside; I’ll give you some feedback on these Wo Liao!"
Feedback? What kind of feedback could there be? You’ve already brought in the sheep; what more is there to discuss? If it’s not good feedback, are you going to rob me in the yard?
"Why are we going inside? Let’s go to the kitchen! I’ll let you experience steamed lobster or fried lobster; if all else fails, we can make some spicy crayfish!"
After chasing after them for a few steps, Shi Tian caught up with Xia Shou just as they reached Scallion and Ginger to Remove Fishy Smell, who was already at the yard entrance with Oka.
Shi Tian had arrived early to secure a boat for his lamb leg. Not wanting to wait for anyone else, he dashed inside to check on the sheep but ended up getting robbed instead.
Oka had just arrived and saw Scallion and Ginger to Remove Fishy Smell holding onto the boat rod that Shi Tian had prepared for him. He parked right at the entrance and immediately went to grab it.
He pulled out another electric reel from his vehicle and attached it to the rod. Testing its elasticity confirmed that it was no different from Scallion and Ginger’s rod—this ten-thousand-dollar purchase was worth it!
"Xiao Tian, where's the line? Come help me set it up!" Tossing his car keys toward Scallion and Ginger to Remove Fishy Smell, Oka hurried over with his rod while Scallion and Ginger found himself relegated to parking attendant duties.
Seeing Oka approach, Shi Tian shook his head helplessly.
"The line is in the box. I prepared some bait for you to lure the lobsters. Right now, I'm debating whether to steam them or fry them!"
Old Xia Rou isn't tasty; it doesn't steam well and doesn't fry thoroughly either. Next time we go out to sea, let's hook it up and fish for tuna instead! Oka glanced through the contents of the box and smiled slightly.
Shi Tian had prepared everything quite well: two thousand meters of line, a bundle of steel wire leaders, and a bait cage with hooks. Oka decided not to fuss over that little bit of bait anymore.
