With a satisfying tug on the line, he felt the unmistakable signal of a catch! He lifted the rod and struck hard; the force was comparable to that of the thirty-pound Bluefin Tuna he had caught yesterday! 0

Adjusting the drag, he pushed the button on the Electric Reel and waited patiently for the fish to tire in the waves. Once it was exhausted, it would be time to bring it aboard! 0

"Wow, you’ve hooked something big again!" Wang Gou exclaimed, glancing at the tension on Shi Tian's rod. 0

However, Shi Tian hadn’t started reeling in yet, so they didn’t need to maneuver their rods just yet. They simply shifted their rods to one side to avoid tangling with Shi Tian’s line. 0

After letting the fish thrash in the water for over ten minutes, the lobster fisherman reeled in his line and came over with a hose to cool down the Electric Reel. He had just caught a forty-pound grouper and, seeing that no one was helping Shi Tian, decided to assist him in bringing up his catch before resuming fishing. 0

A grouper of around forty pounds wasn’t particularly large; these fish could grow over a hundred pounds. In these waters, it wasn’t uncommon to catch ones weighing seventy or eighty pounds. 0

Feeling less resistance on the rod, Shi Tian tightened the drag a couple of notches and began reeling in. After some effort, he saw that the numbers on the Electric Reel were within ten meters. Wang Gou approached with a spear gun in hand. 0

This time, Shi Tian didn’t let go of his rod; he wanted to tackle this big fish himself. But as soon as the fish broke surface, Shi Tian was momentarily stunned! He had celebrated too soon! 0

"Wow! It’s like pulling up a supercar!" Wang Gou exclaimed as he extended his Fish Spear over the side of the boat. 0

Wang Gou’s comment left Shi Tian speechless! Was he really comparing it to a supercar? Surely it wasn’t just a toy! 0

What a thrill! After all that effort, it must weigh around a hundred pounds! 0

Hearing Wang Gou’s remark, Scallions and Ginger and Oka exchanged knowing glances. After all morning’s work, Shi Tian had managed to reel in a Niu Gang Mackerel! 0

What a waste of such a good Zao Kou! What was he supposed to do with this Niu Gang Mackerel? Make fish balls? 0

This fish had few rivals in these waters; only sharks posed any real threat to it. 0

The Niu Gang Mackerel lived up to its name—powerful like a supercar, fast-swimming with great strength. It could even leap out of the water to snatch seabirds as snacks. If one had inferior gear and hooked such a large specimen, it could easily lead to broken rods! 0

While it was indeed a good fish while still on the Hook, dragging it onto the boat was another matter entirely. If offered as a gift, no one would want it! 0

Shi Tian managed to reel in this sizable catch—over ninety pounds. However, when comparing this fish with the Sea Wolf he had caught earlier, he felt it might be time to check his luck! 0

After all that effort throughout the morning for just two catches that might not even cover bait costs—let alone fuel expenses—was disheartening! 0

Kicking at the fish in frustration, Shi Tian decided he wouldn’t continue fishing. It wasn’t a good morning for it anyway; perhaps they should head back to the kitchen for breakfast! After fishing all morning, they were already starving! 0

After breakfast, the group switched to their Iso Rods. The Xia Pi they caught in the morning were not wasted, attracting a large number of Flying Fish. They began to enjoy the thrill of fishing, but the price for each Bai Tiao was a bit steep—several Ten Dollars for just one! 0

In their home country, Flying Fish were relatively cheap, but in the polluted waters, they could sell for six dollars a pound. A larger Flying Fish could weigh about a pound, but unfortunately, these fish hadn’t tasted Fukushima water and probably wouldn’t suit the taste of those from the polluted country! 0

Seeing the four of them having such a great time with the Flying Fish, Shi Tian felt a pang of envy. Didn’t everyone bring Sea Fishing Rods? Why did they also prepare Lures and Iso Rods? 0

Shi Tian didn’t have an Iso Rod with him; he did have a custom-made one, but it had run off with Yi Laotou and was probably enjoying itself over in Beihai! 0

He swapped his Sea Fishing Rod for a small Fishing Set, attached a Xia Pi, and cast it lightly. Within just a minute, he had hooked a Flying Fish! He removed the fish and tossed it into the Living Water Tank without needing to change the Xia Pi. He cast again and caught another! 0

Fishing for Flying Fish was just like drawing Bai Tiao; when they encountered a school of fish, one could catch nearly dozens in an hour until the school was scared away. They hung several Bait Cages filled with shrimp over the side of the boat; this group of Flying Fish couldn’t be scared off easily. After battling for more than half an hour, the Living Water Tank was completely filled with Flying Fish! 0

“Air Force, this is... please respond!” 0

It wasn’t even noon yet when Pingtou Ge started calling on the radio. Hearing his voice made Shi Tian’s head ache! What time was it? He was just getting into the groove of fishing! Why was he calling now? 0

The walkie-talkie had been left on board by Pingtou Ge last night. Since it wasn’t on a common frequency, he wasn’t worried about other fishing boats overhearing. 0

“Air Force received! Please speak!” 0

Shi Tian rushed into the cabin and picked up the walkie-talkie helplessly. 0

“When are you all having lunch? I’ll bring you some ingredients!” 0

Hearing “ingredients,” Shi Tian couldn’t help but roll his eyes! Before heading out to sea, Scallion Ginger Fishy had prepared plenty of good stuff; they were not lacking anything on board! 0

“Pingtou Ge, we have ingredients on board. We’ll start lunch at ten o’clock sharp! I’ll anchor the boat then! I’ll call you when the food is ready!” 0

This was what they had agreed upon yesterday: to stop fishing at noon and tie up the boat for some rest before going all night long! 0

“Alright! But we can’t anchor near the Drilling Platform; smoking isn’t allowed there. Let’s stick to where we were last night; I’ll be there on time!” 0

After agreeing with Pingtou Ge, Shi Tian returned to the Stern, where there were no more bites at that moment. 0

At eleven o’clock in the morning, Shi Tian and Scallion Ginger Fishy dove into the kitchen to prepare lunch while Oka steered the boat forward. Wang Gou and Lobster were also busy; they had made good catches that morning, and there was Tuna blood all over near the Stern. Taking advantage of the fresh blood stains, they were washing down the deck. 0

After stopping the boat for just ten minutes, Shi Tian finally saw the ingredients that Pingtou Ge had mentioned! A big Zhang Hong weighing dozens of pounds! 0

Shi Tian was quite fond of such ingredients. If Pingtou Ge were this generous every time, Shi Tian would actually hope he came by to share a meal every day! 0
