The commotion caused by Shi Tian drew the attention of Wang Ergou and the Lobster, who exchanged a knowing glance and shook their heads slightly, showing no intention of helping as they continued to focus on their own Float. What big fish? The Rod was bending significantly, but the line remained still underwater, clearly snagged on the bottom!

He pointed out a spot to Shi Tian, not entirely as a prank. After dropping twenty pounds of Snails earlier, there had to be fish here. He thought Shi Tian's shorter rod might allow him to catch something good but didn’t expect it would be filled with trash instead.
The Fu Wan Reservoir was one of Sanya's six major water sources; it was disgusting that such a protected area had become a dumping ground!
"Hey bro, have you ever caught anything strange?" Shi Tian asked as he tossed aside the broken Electric Rice Cooker and switched to another Hook before casting back into the water.
Fishermen were quite a mysterious bunch; according to incomplete statistics, among a billion people, there were countless fishermen. And among these fishermen, who hadn’t caught something bizarre at least once?
He had caught several things from land—like mice and water snakes—but nothing from the sky yet! Squinting his eyes in thought, he recalled that aside from those that didn’t breathe air, he was just missing something flying above!
"Something flying? Can you really catch birds?" The idea seemed to stretch beyond Shi Tian's understanding.
Catching something from land wasn’t surprising; he had heard of mice and water snakes being caught before. But catching something from the sky? That was new to him.
"I once saw a bro in Yunnan catch a seagull—right on target!" Wang Ergou casually remarked as he handed Shi Tian a bottle of water.
"That's nothing! I’ve seen a bro catch a cobra! I asked him how he got it off the hook!" Before Wang Ergou could finish his sentence, Lobster chimed in.
Catching a cobra? That guy must have been something else! As for whether he removed it from the hook or cut the line—that remained unclear. But before packing up, he probably wouldn’t dare let go of his Rod!
The three chatted casually while Wang Ergou’s Rod occasionally dipped into the water until it completely submerged. Only then did Lobster react.
"Old Wang, your Rod is going on vacation! Looks like it's ready for an impromptu trip!"
Hearing this made Wang Ergou glance at his rod holder. He pulled out his phone and tossed it aside before jumping straight into the water!
Wang Ergou had finally caught up with Rod. The Lobster shook his head and chuckled, "It's quite strange, this fishing business. You can stare at it for ages without a bite. But the moment you step away to take a leak, grab a drink, or even light a cigarette, that's when it decides to take a nibble!"
As he spoke, the Lobster pulled out the Loss Prevention Rope and hooked it onto Rod before starting to assemble the Ping Net on the shore. They were fishing for big catches, each weighing at least twenty pounds, making it nearly impossible for one person to haul them in alone; they needed to help each other.
The Lobster went to assist, and Shi Tian joined in as well. As they reeled in Rod, Shi Tian turned and ran over to Wang Ergou's side. He saw that Wang Ergou was now standing in the water, and all Shi Tian could do was cheer him on from the shore.
The fish on Wang Ergou's line was quite large, likely not smaller than the one the Lobster had caught last time. Watching Wang Ergou's various techniques for reeling in the fish, Shi Tian silently mourned for the Hook that was attached to that fish; it must be in so much pain!
After battling for over thirty minutes, Wang Ergou finally brought the fish ashore. At that moment, the Lobster was eager to jump into the water. Last time, his fish had only taken about forty minutes before Wang Ergou pulled it up, so this time he wanted to seize the opportunity to catch one early; otherwise, it would be too unfair!
"Xiao Tian, go set up the Yu Hu! The sky has opened up; we can start fishing!" Seeing that Yu Jing had run out of strength, Wang Ergou's face was lit up with joy.
"Yu Hu? You haven't set it up yet? What about that half-meter-long Qiao Zui from this morning?" Hearing Wang Ergou ask him to set up the Yu Hu, Shi Tian felt a bit confused.
