Could he pull Old Zhang away from fishing? Not likely; he didn't have that ability! It was fine when he fished across from the shop because Aunt Zhang could call out from the door if anything happened, and he could rush over immediately. But if they stopped him from fishing across the way, who knew where Old Zhang would wander off with Shui Laoban? He might not even be able to find him later!
Once at the shop, Shi Tian placed the cat on the counter, and Su Xueyi immediately opened the cage and picked it up!
What a beautiful cat! Boss, did you buy it? Have you named it yet?
This Shih Tzu was indeed quite stunning with its snow-white fur and big squinty eyes. The fact that its eyes were different colors didn't seem odd to Shi Tian's mild obsessive-compulsive tendencies—this was quite rare!

After more than a day of letting water flow in, Ren Lake in the Back Area of the villa community had accumulated quite a bit of water. However, it would take several days for it to flow into Ren Lake in the Front Area; at least Ren Lake in the Back Area needed to fill up before any overflow could occur!

The genius on the mountain began his day by preparing a day's worth of water. The little lake in his yard, Xiao Ren Lake, was almost ready to nurture Bai Tiao! With the cat already taken care of, he had to prepare some cat food too.
Watching the spring water flow into Ren Lake, Shi Tian turned back to his house, grabbed his custom-made rod and gear, and headed up the mountain.
The old folks were doing quite well with their fishing! Yi Laoyez had already gotten hooked, so there was no need for them to hold back anymore. They were reeling in fish one after another, just needing to ensure they didn’t fall too far behind Yi Laoyez to keep his spirits up.
When Shi Tian arrived at Yuehu, the four old men were still battling under the scorching sun by the lakeside. Upon seeing Shi Tian approach, they merely glanced over as a form of greeting.
However, when Old Liu noticed the Golden Silk Nanmu box in Shi Tian's hand, he looked again and then walked over: "Xiao Tian is here? Are you going to fish with us old men?"
As he spoke, he reached out to take the rod case from Shi Tian's hand.
"Old man, this rod is my custom-made one; your set hasn’t been completed yet! It’ll probably take another day before it’s delivered!" Shi Tian quickly explained as he blocked Old Liu's outstretched hand.
Hearing this, a hint of disappointment crossed Old Liu's face. He turned toward the small cabin by the lake and soon returned with a chilled bottle of cola, handing it to Shi Tian: "Xiao Tian, it’s so hot today; climbing the mountain must have been exhausting! Have a drink to cool off!"
As Old Liu shoved the cola into Shi Tian's hands, he pondered for a moment before speaking: "Xiao Tian, have you ever bought a car? When you pay for a car and there isn’t one available right away, they usually give you a loaner car to drive around. You know about that, right?"
Once Old Liu mentioned this, Shi Tian understood what he meant—he was here looking for a spare rod!
