Rolling his eyes at Old Liu, Old Kong smiled mysteriously and said, "Actually, I have another photo. The one Air Force sent has a different angle from Xiao Tian's. Let me share it in the group for you to see!"
With that, Old Kong casually pulled out the photo that Air Force had sent and shared it in their group chat.
This photo had a slightly different angle from Shi Tian's, but not by much. The old man zoomed in on the image and pointed to a leaf on the side, saying, "Look here. Through the gap in this leaf, what do you see?"
Prompted by Old Kong, both of them spoke in unison, "The ocean!"
As soon as they said this, the three of them exchanged knowing smiles.
The ocean wasn't anything special; Sanya was surrounded by it everywhere! However, by referencing the ocean, they could determine the altitude. This Fishing Spot was halfway up the mountain and not far from the villa area—only about twenty minutes away!

Rolling his eyes at Old Liu again, Old Wen thought for a moment and said, "We can't rush this. With such a big mountain, finding a lake can be quite troublesome! Tomorrow morning, let's fish across from Xiao Tian's shop for a while. When it gets hot, we can find an excuse for Qianqian to drop us off to rest. We can gather more information from the hotel staff then!"

"Also, let's get that Rod customized at Xiao Tian's shop first!" Old Liu thought he should have mentioned this to Xiao Tian earlier but got dragged along by them before he could say anything. After pondering for a moment, he nodded in agreement but shot an annoyed glance at Old Kong.
The old man didn’t care about their plans. The last time they came to Sanya was supposed to be for Fishing for Big Fish, but Air Force had messed things up for them; only later did he realize what had happened!
After spending so many days studying Air Force's photo, he was well-prepared this time. Unlike Air Force and the others, who were a bunch of old men teaming up against someone fresh out of school like Shi Tian, he felt confident!
Hearing that Old Liu also wanted to customize a Fishing Rod made Old Wen's mouth twitch; he must have gotten his hands on one too or else he wouldn't be so eager. However, Shi Tian was already having someone customize a Fishing Rod for him; he couldn't let Old Liu delay that progress!
Customizing a Rod wasn’t that easy; you had to prepare materials first. Without materials, how could they customize anything for you?
"I'll make you a list of materials you need to gather," Old Wen said as he stood up and turned toward his room to assign tasks to Old Liu.
Shi Tian had mentioned that it would take about a week for the Customized Rod—maybe even an extra day or two. If Old Liu started gathering materials tomorrow and sent them over, it would take at least two days; by then, his own Rod would be close to being customized too!
While the Three Old Men plotted against each other, Shi Tian was busy with the Bait Contest.
The current rewards for the Bait Contest were still somewhat low; getting a good rank was fine, but if they didn’t rank at all, it felt rather disappointing.
So many Bai Tiao were drawn up that needed to be handed over to Shi Tian; in return, they only got a few sets of Hook and Line Setup. If those Bai Tiao were exchanged for money, what kind of Hook and Line Setup couldn’t they buy?
In truth, Shi Tian didn’t necessarily need those Bai Tiao; if worse came to worst, he could just let Old Zhang handle it without Bai Tiao—it wouldn’t affect him much at all. However, to encourage participation among those in the group contesting actively, it was indeed necessary to slightly increase the rewards!
A hook box was created, complete with hooks, and inscribed with the words commemorating the first Bait Contest, second edition. The plan was to finish this set of hook boxes first!
After everything was done, a photo was taken, and Shi Tian immediately shared several pictures in the group chat.
Shi Xiao Tian: This week’s Bait Contest! Participate in four sessions to receive a commemorative Pin Gou box, complete with standard Pin Gou!
As soon as Shi Tian sent this message, the group exploded with excitement!
Piao Bu Dong: A hook box is nice, but can you erase the words “Bai Tiao”? Otherwise, it would be quite embarrassing to show it off!

During the last competition, they had received rods without any inscriptions. They picked them up directly from the store, so Shi Tian didn’t have a chance to add any text.
Hearing Piao Bu Dong’s comment made Shi Tian twitch his mouth; it really was an issue. If those words were printed on the Rod or the box, it would indeed be quite embarrassing to take them out!
Wang Ergou: The last prize Rod didn’t have those words printed on it; only the line board and hook board did. I was so scared that I burned both!
Lobster: Was that really necessary? It’s not that serious! I just used a utility knife to scrape it off little by little. The quality of the line and hooks is pretty good; it would be a shame to burn them!
Wang Ergou: Are you stupid? I wouldn’t take off the line and hooks just to burn them!
Watching the rising tide of resistance in the group chat, Shi Tian quietly slipped into the water, withdrew all the photos he had posted, and then designed a new pattern!
Without a computer, designing on his phone was still somewhat troublesome. It was just a matter of changing a few words to read “Commemorative of the First Speed Fishing Contest, Second Edition.” He also downloaded an image of Fishing for Big Fish as a background and created a new hook box.
