"Alright, the water has started flowing, but to sustain a Ren Lake, we still need to wait another ten days or so!" Shi Tian said, pointing at the cave entrance. 0

Upon hearing this, Shi Ye and the others grew curious. They had initially thought they would be stuck with Shi Tian's antics for half the night, but it seemed that water had indeed begun to flow! 0

"What good is this little bit of water? It could barely sustain a tadpole!" Shi Ye remarked, watching as drops of water trickled down from the cave. 0

Facing Shi Ye's criticism, Lu Ya was much more rational. "Could it be that we drilled too shallow? Should I have them drill another half meter?" 0

Shi Tian was taken aback by this suggestion. "Are you joking? If we drill another half meter, won't the spring get ruined?" 0

"Don't! The depth is just right; if we drill any deeper, the spring will be wasted!" Shi Tian quickly stopped Lu Ya's wild ideas and added seriously, "The water flow will gradually increase. If you’re interested, stay here for half an hour and you’ll see the water volume rise!" 0

"But I advise you to come back tomorrow. By morning, the spring's flow should match that of your home faucet!" 0

Not giving them a chance to argue further, Shi Tian turned to Shi Ye and said, "Once the water starts flowing, you’ll be responsible for directing it into my yard. I want to brew tea with spring water and dig out a Ren Lake!" 0

Shi Ye was too preoccupied to respond to Shi Tian's request. He could already feel the flow increasing; what had started as a trickle was now forming into a steady stream. At this rate, in about an hour, it would likely become a small flow. 0

Shi Tian had no intention of waiting around while they swatted mosquitoes. He needed to head down the mountain to prepare a farewell feast for the three of them. If they enjoyed watching Spring Water so much, he might as well let them indulge! 0

Once he got back to his yard, he quickly stripped off his clothes and jumped into the pool for a thorough wash. He couldn't risk letting any leeches or other pests get inside. 0

After washing up and changing into fresh clothes, he began preparing the farewell feast. The scale of this feast certainly couldn't compare to what he would prepare for the elder; after all, the elder was two generations above them. He planned two main dishes along with several home-cooked dishes. However, having learned from his previous experience, he decided to prepare both main dishes simultaneously. 0

The preparation took over an hour, and by now it was past nine o'clock—yet the three hadn’t shown any signs of coming down! 0

"Ye Ge! Dinner's ready! The dishes are all prepared!" Shi Tian called out anxiously. The main dishes were just one step away from completion, but still no sign of them. Growing impatient, he quickly dialed their number to urge them down for dinner! 0

Though Shi Tian himself didn’t eat much, he knew how to cook! Once the main dishes were ready, they needed to be served immediately while hot for the best flavor and texture. 0

After all that effort over an hour, it frustrated him that they were still up on the mountain staring at a rock while swatting mosquitoes instead of coming down for dinner! 0

"Xiao Tian, can this spring water be drunk?" one of them asked without acknowledging Shi Tian’s earlier call about dinner. All three were fixated on the cave entrance now that darkness had fallen; they took turns using their phones as flashlights. 0

As soon as they drilled in, they found nothing but stone debris—how could anyone drink that? They would have to wait until tomorrow morning when the flow increased and washed away all the debris before it could be safe to drink! "Hurry up and come eat!" Shi Tian urged again. 0

With the slow trickle of water, were the three still waiting to drink from the mountain spring? Could it be? Were they really up there collecting spring water? That would be quite the scene; dinner tonight might just turn into a late-night snack! 0

Thinking this, Shi Tian helplessly turned off the stove and rummaged through the fridge for a sausage. He munched on it while waiting to see how long it would take these three to get rid of the mosquitoes! 0

As he ate his sausage and played on his phone, he noticed that today’s points growth was not much different from yesterday's—barely over a thousand points. 0

Sigh! Tomorrow Shi Ye would be heading to Africa. As soon as he boarded the plane, he planned to post a recruitment message to quickly find someone to help him manage the store. He was going to spread warmth! 0

When they opened for business, Shi Tian had collected quite a few red envelopes, so hiring a staff member and paying them for a year or two was definitely feasible! What he lacked now wasn’t money, but points. First, he needed to fill the store with goods before worrying about sales! 0

At this moment, he couldn’t even think about sales. Even if there were sales, he didn’t have enough points; it would still be futile! 0

As night deepened, Shi Ye and the others finally arrived. Shi Tian glanced at the clock; it was already eleven o'clock at night. 0

He couldn’t help but admire these three for enduring the mosquitoes in such desolate mountains until so late. If their phones hadn’t run out of battery, they probably wouldn’t have come back at all. 0

“Here’s some mountain spring water for you to taste; it’s a bit sweet!” A bottle of mineral water was tossed into Shi Tian’s arms as Air Force threw his already powered-off phone onto a beach chair and dove into the pool. 0

Following him in were Shi Ye and Lu Ya. After splashing around in the pool for a bit, they climbed back onto the beach chairs and excitedly began recounting their adventure with the mountain spring to Shi Tian. 0
