Seoul, night. 0

The neon lights flickered like enchanting fairies, dancing seductively in the darkness. After escaping from the headquarters of the Taiji Consortium, Park Bucheng and his companions did not return to their base immediately; instead, they drove to a high-end hotel. This was Li Zhenghao's territory, relatively safe, at least a place to catch their breath and regain their composure. 0

In the luxurious suite, the crystal chandelier cast a dazzling glow that illuminated everything in the room. Park Bucheng stood by the floor-to-ceiling window, overlooking the brilliantly lit city. He squinted, exhaling a puff of smoke; amidst the swirling mist, his face appeared even more austere. 0

"Damn it, I finally made it out alive." Park Bucheng took a deep drag from his cigarette and extinguished it in the crystal ashtray. The relief of surviving had yet to dissipate when an unexpected wave of crisis washed over him, sending chills down his spine as if he were being watched by a venomous snake. 0

Years of experience in the underworld told him that danger was nearby. 0

He suddenly turned around, grabbing the ashtray from the table and hurling it toward the shadow behind him. "Bang!" The ashtray struck its target with a dull thud, shattering into glass shards that sparkled ominously in the light. 0

A figure stumbled out of the shadows, clutching their injured shoulder and glaring coldly at Park Bucheng. It was none other than Kim Tae-wook, the clone assassin from JK Group. This guy just wouldn’t quit! 0

Though Kim Tae-wook's shoulder throbbed painfully from the blow, his expression remained impassive as he fixed his icy gaze on Park Bucheng, resembling a leopard poised to strike. "You’re quick on your feet, but you won't escape today." 0

Park Bucheng sneered. "Just you? You really overestimate yourself." He tossed the remaining stub of his cigarette to the ground and ground it underfoot with disdain in his eyes. 0

Without further ado, Kim Tae-wook launched his attack. His punches and kicks were fierce and lethal, each strike infused with deadly intent as if he aimed to tear Park Bucheng apart. The air was thick with the sound of whistling fists, suffocating in its intensity. 0

Park Bucheng dared not be careless; he employed Graceful Wave Steps, darting around the room to evade Kim Tae-wook's onslaught. His movements were ghostly and unpredictable, causing Kim Tae-wook’s attacks to repeatedly miss their mark. 0

"Bang! Bang! Bang!" The furniture in the room was smashed to pieces by Kim Tae-wook's relentless assault, leaving chaos in its wake. Priceless mahogany tables and chairs, valuable antique vases—all reduced to fragments scattered across the floor. 0

As Park Bucheng dodged, he observed Kim Tae-wook's techniques for weaknesses. Although Kim Tae-wook’s attacks were ferocious, they appeared somewhat rigid; he seemed to lack real combat experience—like a machine reciting learned moves without understanding. 0

"Looks like you’re not all that impressive," Park Bucheng smirked coldly to himself. With such limited skills, how dare he attempt to assassinate me? 0

Seizing an opening in Kim Tae-wook's defense, Park Bucheng struck hard at his chest with an open palm. "Puff!" Kim Tae-wook spat out blood and was sent flying backward, crashing heavily onto the ground with a muffled groan. 0

Park Bucheng did not pursue his advantage but instead walked up to Kim Tae-wook, looking down at him. "Speak. Who sent you?" His voice was cold, as if it came from the depths of hell. 0

Kim Tae-wook gritted his teeth, refusing to speak, his eyes filled with hatred and resentment. 0

Park Bucheng sneered, "You’re asking for trouble by refusing to cooperate." He extended two fingers and pressed them against Kim Tae-wook's pressure point. 0

Instantly, Kim Tae-wook felt his entire body go numb, unable to move, like a puppet whose strings had been cut. 0

"Now, can you speak?" Park Bucheng's voice grew even colder, like a sharp blade pressed against Kim Tae-wook's throat. 0

Kim Tae-wook's face turned pale, fear filling his eyes as he trembled and said, "It... it’s the JK Group..." 0

"The JK Group?" Park Bucheng frowned. "Why do they want me dead?" 0

"Because... because you ruined their plans..." Kim Tae-wook's voice was shaky, as if he had exhausted all his strength. 0

"Ruined their plans?" Park Bucheng's heart stirred as he recalled the incident where he had destroyed the Taiji Consortium's servers. It seemed that the JK Group and the Taiji Consortium were indeed colluding. These two chaebols were in cahoots, truly despicable! 0

He continued to question him, "What other plans do they have?" 0

Kim Tae-wook hesitated for a moment but ultimately spoke. "They... they have a 'Qingfeng Plan'..." 0

"The Qingfeng Plan?" Park Bucheng wondered what this plan entailed. It sounded like some sort of conspiracy. 0

He searched Kim Tae-wook and found a note and a USB drive. The note simply read "Qingfeng Plan," while the USB drive was encrypted. It seemed that to learn the specifics of the "Qingfeng Plan," he would first need to unlock the password on the USB drive. 0

Just then, a series of urgent knocks echoed at the door. "Park Bucheng, are you alright?" It was Li Zhenghao's voice. 0

Park Bucheng's heart skipped a beat. How could Li Zhenghao be here? Had he been monitoring me all along? 0

He quickly hid Kim Tae-wook and then opened the door. 0

Li Zhenghao rushed in, looking anxious. "I heard you were attacked. Are you okay?" 0

Park Bucheng shook his head. "I'm fine, just a little trouble." He tried to act nonchalant, but his mind was filled with caution. 0

Li Zhenghao glanced around and was shocked to see the room in disarray. "What... what happened here?" 0

Park Bucheng casually replied, "I ran into a few thugs and got into a scuffle." 0

Li Zhenghao looked at him skeptically. "Are you really okay?" 0

Park Bucheng nodded. "I'm really fine, you don't need to worry." 0

Only then did Li Zhenghao relax. "That's good. I'll be on my way." 0

As he turned to leave, he suddenly stopped at the door. "Park Bucheng, be careful. I feel like things aren't that simple." 0

A chill ran through Park Bucheng at Li Zhenghao's words. What did he mean? Did he know something? 0

He watched Li Zhenghao's retreating figure, lost in thought. "The Qingfeng Plan..." What was this mysterious plan? And what conspiracy was the JK Group plotting? Everything felt like a huge enigma hanging over Park Bucheng's head. 0
