I floated into a dimly lit room. 0

A worn-out wall held a flickering light bulb, casting a weak and feeble glow, as if it might extinguish at any moment. 0

The floor was littered with splatters of blood and cigarette butts, the air thick with a metallic, rusty scent. 0

I saw a man kneeling on the ground. 0

He trembled all over, blood trickling from the corner of his mouth. 0

His shoulder was twisted at an unnatural angle, clearly indicating that his bones had shattered. 0

"Say another word, and I'll make you wish you hadn't!" a thug shouted, brandishing an iron rod, his voice rough and grating. 0

He swung the rod down with force, striking the man's shoulder mercilessly. 0

The sound of breaking bones echoed sharply, sending chills down my spine. 0

The man curled up in pain but dared not cry out loudly; he could only force out low, guttural whimpers from his throat. 0

His trembling hands pressed against the ground as he tried to rise but collapsed again in defeat. 0

The sight of his despair pierced my heart deeply, reminding me of my former self—the one who had been trampled upon, helpless to do anything but grit my teeth and endure it all. 0

Rage surged within me like a fire ignited in dry tinder, burning so fiercely that I could hardly breathe. 0

"Scoundrel!" I could no longer contain myself and finally stepped out of the shadows. 0

My figure gradually emerged under the light, appearing semi-transparent. 0

I could feel my existence, yet it seemed I did not fully belong to this world. 0

The white garment I wore stood out starkly in the dimness, and my long hair floated as if stirred by an invisible wind. 0

The air around me suddenly grew cold, and a faint black mist began to spread from my body. 0

This mist was the manifestation of my Grudge. 0

It ebbed and flowed with my emotions, now surging like a roiling Black Tide. 0

Two Henchmen abruptly turned around. 0

When they saw me, the fierce expressions on their faces were instantly replaced by fear. 0

"Who... who is there?" one of them asked tremulously, his voice sharp with terror. 0

I did not respond; instead, I extended a cold finger and gently beckoned towards the Light Bulb on the ceiling. 0

In an instant, "Bang!" the Light Bulb shattered, sending countless shards of glass flying. 0

The Indoor space was plunged into darkness, leaving only a suffocating Coldness lingering in the air. 0

"Ghost... there's a ghost!" Another Henchman screamed in panic. 0

He turned to run but collided with an invisible wall, "Thud!" he was bounced back and fell heavily to the ground. 0

That is the Barrier formed by my Grudge. 0

It is invisible and colorless, yet unbreakable. 0

Its strength depends on my anger. 0

At this moment, my anger sweeps in like a raging storm, and no one can escape its onslaught. 0

"Spare us! Spare us!" Two Henchmen fell to their knees, frantically bowing to the air. 0

Their foreheads struck the floor with a dull thud, the sound laced with fear and despair. 0

I ignored them and walked towards the man who lay tortured and barely alive. 0

He was sprawled on the ground, his lips pale as paper from excessive blood loss. 0

I crouched down and lifted his frail body with my hand. 0

His cold skin sent a chilling wave through me, a sign that life was slipping away. 0

"Get up, leave this place," I whispered. 0

The man paused for a moment. 0

He could not see my face but could feel my presence. 0

His lips trembled slightly; he did not speak but nodded with all his strength. 0

He struggled to stand up, clutching his injured shoulder, and limped out of the room. 0

I turned my head to look at the two henchmen kneeling on the ground. 0

At that moment, they resembled two lambs awaiting slaughter, trembling all over, too afraid to meet my gaze. 0

"Kill you? That would be too easy." My voice was low and cold, each word slicing through their eardrums like a blade. 0

I waved my hand, and an invisible force lifted them up, as if they were two ragged bags, and hurled them violently against the wall. 0

"Bang!" The sound echoed as they crashed into the wall and slid down, howling in pain. 0

The revenge had just begun; I needed to quicken my pace and be more cautious. 0

Time waits for no one, and I intended to make Wu Minghui and Wang Qiang pay dearly, leaving them with no place to bury their bodies. 0

But I also understood that each use of power drained me. I needed to find a way to restore my strength; I couldn't just charge ahead recklessly. 0

I felt my energy gradually dissipating. 0

Was my path of revenge destined to be filled with thorns and challenges? 0
