Park Bucheng stood at the center of the battlefield, drenched in blood, like a ferocious beast surveying the disarrayed enemies around him. He let out a loud, maniacal laugh, filled with madness, pride, and disdain. The sound echoed in the night sky, instilling fear in the remaining foes and proclaiming victory in this battle. Damn it, these Chaebol scum are nothing but a bunch of weaklings!
However, before the joy of victory could linger on Park Bucheng's face, it was shattered by the sound of hurried footsteps. A blood-soaked Gangster Underling stumbled towards him, trembling hands offering a communicator while gasping for breath. "Boss! Boss! We intercepted communications from the Chaebol! Something big is happening!"
Park Bucheng furrowed his brow and snatched the communicator impatiently, barking, "What the hell? I just won a hard-fought battle; what other nonsense is going on?" He pressed the device to his ear, and a chilling voice slithered through like a venomous snake: "Park Bucheng, do you think you've won? You're too naive! We have even greater power! Just wait and see; you'll regret this!"
"Regret your grandmother!" Park Bucheng cursed angrily, smashing the communicator to the ground, shattering it into pieces. A chill ran up his spine as an unsettling feeling crept into his heart. Those damn Chaebol bastards really do have a backup plan! Greater power? Could it be...
At that moment, a deafening roar echoed from afar, rapidly approaching. Park Bucheng looked up sharply to see a pitch-black helicopter slicing through the night sky like a steel beast, racing towards them. The searchlight on the helicopter resembled a giant's single eye, scanning the ground with an ominous glow.
"Shit! It's coming so fast!" Park Bucheng's expression changed drastically as he cursed under his breath. He realized that things were worse than he had imagined. He immediately shouted at the top of his lungs, "Everyone! Retreat! Get out of here now!"
However, his command came too late. The belly of the helicopter suddenly opened, and a blinding green light shot out from within. Following that, a massive figure plummeted from the sky like a meteorite, crashing heavily to the ground.
Boom!
The earth trembled with a thunderous sound as dust and debris filled the air.
Hiding in the shadows, Li Zhenghao watched this scene unfold and nearly lost control of himself in fear. He stammered to himself, "What... what kind of monster is that?"
As the dust settled, a nearly three-meter-tall green giant appeared before everyone. Its skin was an eerie shade of green with bulging veins resembling coiled pythons. A pair of crimson eyes radiated a ferocious aura as if it were ready to devour anyone in its path.
"The Green Giant?!" Park Bucheng gasped in shock. He finally understood what the Chaebol meant by greater power. This was a creature that belonged in American comics! How did it end up in reality?!
As soon as the Green Giant landed, it rampaged like a wild horse unleashed from its reins. It swung its fist—big as a cooking pot—smashing nearby buildings to rubble. Steel and concrete crumbled before it like paper under pressure. The Gangster members scattered like startled birds, screams echoing as if they were trapped in hell.
Park Bucheng stood frozen in place, narrowing his eyes as he fixed his gaze on the Green Giant. Taking a deep breath, he tried to calm himself. At this point, there was no escaping; he could only fight!
The Green Giant seemed to notice Park Bucheng's stare and let out an earth-shattering roar that sent chills down spines—a beastly growl that was terrifying to behold. It took massive strides toward Park Bucheng, each step shaking the ground beneath them.
"Come at me!" Park Bucheng shouted fiercely as he sprang into action, employing Graceful Wave Steps to dance around the Green Giant like a specter. The Green Giant's fists swung wildly through empty air, crashing into the ground and leaving enormous craters behind.
"Well, you've got some strength, but you're a bit slow!" Park Bucheng taunted while dodging.
The Green Giant was clearly enraged, its roar growing louder and its attacks more frenzied. It swung its fists like a storm, crashing down toward Park Bucheng.
Park Bucheng continued to evade, but this time he felt a powerful gust of energy rushing toward him, causing him to stagger.
"This is bad; this guy is too strong!" Alarm bells rang in Park Bucheng's mind. He realized he could no longer afford to be on the defensive.
Taking a deep breath, he suddenly stopped and struck a peculiar pose.
"Six Meridians Divine Sword, break for me!"
Six invisible sword energies shot from his fingertips like arrows, racing straight for the Green Giant.
However, to Park Bucheng's shock, the six sword energies were deflected by the Green Giant's skin! They only left behind a few shallow white marks, as if it had merely been a tickle.
"How... how is this possible?!" Park Bucheng's eyes widened in disbelief. His prideful Six Meridians Divine Sword was utterly ineffective against this monster!
The Green Giant seemed infuriated by this insignificant attack, letting out a deafening roar as it charged at Park Bucheng.
With no time to think, Park Bucheng hurriedly activated Graceful Wave Steps to evade. However, the Green Giant was faster than he had anticipated. A massive hand, like an iron claw, grasped his leg.
"Oh no!" Panic surged through Park Bucheng.
In the next moment, he felt himself lifted high into the air before being slammed down hard onto the ground.
"Thud!"
A mouthful of blood erupted from Park Bucheng's lips. The intense pain nearly made him lose consciousness.
Green Giant did not stop there. He grabbed Park Bucheng and tossed him out like trash. Park Bucheng's body slammed heavily against a wall before sliding to the ground, motionless.
"Boss!" The members of Gangster gasped at the sight. They had never seen Park Bucheng in such a pitiful state.
Hidden in the shadows, Li Zhenghao watched this unfold, a glimmer of satisfaction flickering in his eyes. "Ha ha, Park Bucheng, look at you now!"
Green Giant roared as he continued to wreak havoc within the Gangster stronghold. The members scattered in panic, and chaos reigned throughout the place.
At that moment, Li Zhenghao suddenly received a phone call. A cold voice came through on the other end: "Li Zhenghao, now is your time to shine. If you can eliminate Park Bucheng, we will accept you into the Chaebol."
A flash of greed and excitement crossed Li Zhenghao's face. He glanced at the motionless Park Bucheng on the ground and then at the rampaging Green Giant, formulating a plan in his mind.
"Park Bucheng, just wait. This time, I will make sure you have no place to be buried!" Li Zhenghao gritted his teeth and quietly made his way toward Park Bucheng.
However, just then, Park Bucheng suddenly opened his eyes. A strange light flickered within them.
"Interesting," Park Bucheng said softly, a mysterious smile creeping onto his lips. "It seems it's time to show my true abilities."
He slowly stood up and brushed off the dust from his clothes. In the distance, Green Giant seemed to sense something and turned around, letting out a thunderous roar.
Park Bucheng took a deep breath and assumed a peculiar stance. "Since you love using brute force so much, let me show you what it means to overcome strength with softness!"
