Later on, in order to enhance our professional skills and management capabilities, we participated in numerous training sessions and studies related to command. Although we held some reservations about certain foreign countries, we had to admit that they excelled in specific technical areas.
At that time, just as dawn broke, we were already immersed in intense and fulfilling learning. Every morning, when the first rays of sunlight streamed into the classroom, we were seated at our desks, fully focused on absorbing the various knowledge imparted by our instructors. The daytime schedule was packed with activities, ranging from explanations of professional skills to practical exercises, each of which excited us and posed a challenge.
As night fell, we did not pause despite a busy day; instead, we gathered together to discuss and complete our assignments. These tasks not only reinforced and expanded our knowledge of skills but also involved important areas such as teamwork and project management. Through mutual exchange and brainstorming, we sparked ideas that deepened our understanding and mastery of the material.
It is worth mentioning that most of our instructors had impressive backgrounds. They had personally participated in numerous significant international rescue operations, accumulating a wealth of practical experience. Despite coming from different countries, their unique insights and valuable experiences earned our sincere admiration. Whether facing complex and changing rescue environments or handling crisis response strategies under sudden circumstances, they consistently transformed challenges into opportunities with their exceptional skills and decisive judgment. This cross-border wisdom undoubtedly added vibrant chapters to our learning journey.
When I first saw the instructors' profiles, I was deeply shocked and couldn't help but exclaim inwardly: this is simply incredible! However, as I delved deeper into the details, I realized it was even more remarkable than I initially thought, elevating to an entirely higher level.
It should be noted that the fields they engaged in were on an international scale; some projects even had direct connections with the United Nations. Such a broad and high-end business scope left people astounded.
What is even more commendable is that initially, they were not professional rescuers trained by the state. Instead, like us, they started merely as ordinary enthusiasts. It's hard to believe that this seemingly ordinary group of individuals achieved international recognition through their unwavering determination and steadfast belief after years of hard work.
On this thorny and challenging path, how much effort and dedication did they invest that ordinary people could hardly comprehend? How much mental strength did they need to sustain themselves all the way to success? These questions may never have definitive answers, but there is no doubt that their indomitable spirit of perseverance commands our respect and is worthy of admiration and emulation by each one of us.
In reality, during certain specific moments in life or under particular circumstances, we often find ourselves in a tranquil state, lost in thought. Our minds seem uncontrollably drawn back to those real rescue scenes we once experienced firsthand.
Those heart-stopping images replay in our minds like a movie: raging fires, buildings on the verge of collapse, surging floods; most strikingly are the eyes filled with helplessness and fear of those being rescued. When they looked at us with such desperate gazes, it felt as if time stood still at that moment.
