Yu Chunmiao and Qi Chong naturally turned to leave as well. As they walked along the road, Qi Chong leaned down and said, "Qing Niangzi's scheme is truly masterful."
Yu Chunmiao said proudly, "With one clever move, I can conquer the world. Compliments are not to be taken lightly."
"What do you want then?" Qi Chong asked, bewildered. All the wealth and authority in the house belonged to her; what could he possibly reward her with? If it was about the night, it was more like she was rewarding herself.
Yu Chunmiao jumped in front of him and said, "I want you to carry me home." With that, she opened her arms wide.
Qi Chong turned around and noticed that the villagers could no longer see them. He quickly scooped her up and held her close.
Yu Chunmiao nestled against his neck, swinging her legs and humming a tune. It was all about cuddles and hugs, just missing a lift.
With his hands cradling her thighs, Qi Chong hoarsely asked, "Qing Niangzi, can we do this tonight too?"
Yu Chunmiao cupped his face and teased, "Aren't you worried about not being able to see?"
Taking advantage of the moment, Qi Chong pecked her on the lips, saying there were plenty of times to look.
