As soon as they arrived home, Yu Chunmiao and Qi Rong's pet was naturally settled in the doghouse made by Qi Yuan. However, there was no time to pay attention to it now; they were busy moving bricks. 0

Yu Chunmiao first placed the dog in the woodshed, fetched a bowl of water for it, and rolled up her sleeves, ready to start moving bricks. The family of five formed a production line. Qi Chong stood at the first station due to his lame leg, while Qi Yuan was at the end, stacking the bricks. 0

After finishing the brick moving, Qi Yuan went to return the vehicle. Yu Chunmiao called over Qi Rong and said, "We have enough fairy grass at home now. You can help your Er Ge for the next few days." 0

Qi Rong obediently replied, "Don't worry!" 0

Yu Chunmiao began helping in the kitchen while Qi Chong sat by the door connecting the kitchen and backyard, grinding rice flour so he could keep an eye on Yu Chunmiao. 0

"Mother, Qi Chong and I plan to go to the county tomorrow to inquire about Qi Rong's private school," she said while adding firewood to the stove. "Boss Lu in the county is a friend of Qi Chong; he should be able to help." 0

Chen Ruolan was filtering a pot of freshly made Xian Cao Juice. "Alright, you decide. You two can take the horse cart tomorrow, stay overnight, and come back without delaying anything. I'll be here; Qi Rong can help out too." 0

Qi Chong chimed in, "Then I'll grind more rice flour. While I'm not home, don't let anyone out and keep the yard gate closed." 0

Since they were leaving tomorrow, Yu Chunmiao and Qi Chong worked overtime until ten o'clock. However, they both took turns bathing early so they could get some sleep after finishing their tasks. 0

Yu Chunmiao was once again with Qi Chong. Chen Ruolan knew what was going on and didn't stop them; she just reminded Qi Chong not to be careless. 0

Qi Chong felt wronged; it was clearly his wife who wasn't being restrained, but he wouldn't voice that thought. 0

That night, when it was hard for Qi Chong to settle down his thoughts, Yu Chunmiao teased him again, causing a series of playful sounds. 0

"Stop messing around; I feel terrible," he said. Yu Chunmiao insisted that if there was something on her mind, she had to say it or else she wouldn't be happy. 0

She held his face and shook it gently. "Why can't I kiss you enough? What should I do?" 0

In the darkness, Yu Chunmiao could sense Qi Chong smiling. 0

"I haven't had enough kisses either. Once our little life settles down, we'll kiss every day," he said as he leaned closer to her ear and whispered, "Not just kisses; I want more than that." 0

Yu Chunmiao giggled playfully. "More than that? What do you mean?" 0

Her hands were mischievously exploring under his arms. 0

Qi Yuan remarked, "Aren't these two tired? Another sleepless night." 0

The next day, the couple boarded Xian Ke Lai's horse cart. Seeing the horses made Yu Chunmiao's hands itch with excitement, so she asked, "Hey there, can I take a turn driving the cart?" 0

The assistant's face showed hesitation. "Qi Niangzi, can you do it?" 0

Qi Chong had no reaction; at this point, if Yu Chunmiao said she could fly to the heavens, he wouldn't be surprised. 0

"I can do it, I swear! Just watch me!" Yu Chunmiao declared confidently. 0

The assistant still hesitated, but Yu Chunmiao added, "Just sit next to me. If I do anything wrong, grab the reins immediately. I won't fight you for it." 0

Qi Chong chimed in, "If anything happens, we'll take responsibility. Don't worry." 0

Yu Chunmiao found it strange that he trusted her so much, but she was pleased nonetheless. 0

With a determined heart, the assistant agreed. After all, they were all friends of the boss; if anything went wrong, it wouldn’t be blamed on him—at worst, he would just get scolded. 0

As soon as the reins and whip were in Yu Chunmiao's hands, she transformed completely. 0

She cracked the whip with a sound that echoed through the mountains without actually hitting the horse's rear, and the horse began to stride forward confidently. 0

As for steering, although the mountain path was winding, there was only one road; as long as the horse kept moving forward, there was no fear of going off course. 0

When they reached a flat and open area, she flicked the whip again, letting just the tip touch the horse's rear, and it quickened its pace. 0

"Wow, Qi Niangzi! You really know how to drive this carriage!" The assistant couldn't help but praise her. 0

Yu Chunmiao beamed with pride while Qi Chong draped his long arm over her shoulder, subtly creating a distance between her and the assistant as he watched her with affectionate eyes. 0

"Why don’t you ask me how I learned to drive?" Yu Chunmiao asked Qi Chong. 0
