The apprentice invited three people to take a seat and moved a chair in front of Yu Chunmiao, saying, "I think Qi Niangzi looks very different today, more beautiful and radiant than before. I've never seen this braid before, and the outfit fits perfectly." 0

Yu Chunmiao beamed with pride, smiling a bit too broadly. "Right? I spent a long time on this braid; my hands are sore from it. I also worked on this outfit for three days. Look at the sleeves; I even made a hidden button so they won't drag when I'm working." 0

She extended her hand to show the hidden button to the apprentice, who watched her intently. After observing, he praised her, "Qi Niangzi, your ingenuity is truly impressive. I should make one for myself tomorrow." 0

Sitting nearby, Qi Chong's face was as dark as a burnt pot bottom. Chen Ruolan noticed and leaned closer to him, teasingly saying, "This morning when someone asked you, you ignored them. Are you feeling jealous now? Your mouth is not just for eating." 0

Qi Chong cleared his throat a few times, and Yu Chunmiao turned to him and asked, "Did you catch a chill?" 0

Inexplicably, Qi Chong replied, "Yeah, maybe. It was a bit cold last night." 0

Yu Chunmiao was puzzled; she felt warm last night. Perhaps it was because he was injured and weaker. 0

The apprentice stood up and said, "Qi Niangzi, let me check on Young Master Qi." Without waiting for a response, he grabbed Qi Chong's wrist and began to take his pulse. 0

Qi Chong asked him, "Aren't you studying bone-setting? Can you also take pulses?" 0

The apprentice focused on taking the pulse and replied seriously, "Yes, before studying bone-setting, one must learn about meridians and pulse diagnosis. For instance, you—when that knife went in the other day, you bled out completely; how could we even talk about setting bones?" 0

Qi Chong was speechless; had he known this would happen, he wouldn't have let him take his pulse. 0

After a while, the apprentice released Qi Chong's hand and said, "Young Master Qi is quite healthy; your throat is dry and hoarse. Just drink more water." 0

Yu Chunmiao gave the apprentice a thumbs up. "You're really impressive!" 0

The apprentice scratched the back of his head and grinned sheepishly. "Thank you, Qi Niangzi; I'll keep working hard." 0

Qi Chong interjected, "Whether you work hard or not has nothing to do with Yu Chunmiao." 0

At that moment, Yu Doctor came out from the partition after washing his hands and answered two questions from the family members. Upon seeing the Qi family, he rarely greeted them with a smile. 0

He walked directly in front of Yu Chunmiao and said, "You’re here; you look well." 0

Yu Chunmiao bowed slightly and replied, "Thank you, Yu Doctor. I brought Qi Chong to see you." 0

Yu Doctor looked down at Qi Chong's injured leg and asked her, "Who bandaged this leg?" 0

Chen Ruolan stepped forward and said, "It was my daughter-in-law." 0

Yu Doctor turned to call the apprentices over and said sternly, "Look at this! She has only seen it once but managed to bandage the wound so well. What about you? You practice every day yet still mess things up. It's clear whether you're putting in effort or not." 0

One of the apprentices weakly remarked, "Qi Niangzi must have put in a lot of effort for Husband's bandaging." 0

"Apprentices," the Physician scolded, "you should treat every patient with the same care and attention as you would your own parents or children. If you don't understand this, you might as well quit now." 0

"Yes, Master," the apprentices replied in unison. 0

The Physician gestured for Qi Chong to sit down, and an apprentice quickly brought over a chair for him to rest his legs. 0

"Qi Niangzi, come and show Qi Daizi how to remove the bandages. Let my apprentices see how it's done," the Physician instructed, passing the task to Yu Chunmiao. 0

Blushing, Yu Chunmiao replied, "I hope I don't embarrass myself." 0

She took one end of the gauze and, with alternating hands, swiftly began to unwrap it. The four splints were removed one by one. Once the splints were gone, her movements became even quicker, her hands flying as if she were untying a horse's legs. 0

This was something she had done countless times before, and she was remarkably skilled at it. 0
